Beautiful. As far as I could walk, I loved it and I hear you can walk another 20 km. Many people were there for nature walks and collecting fallen chestnuts from the trees. It was wonderful.

Very calm and soothing patch of nature, it is maintained just enough to not disturb the natural growth. There are many path and tracks for walking, jogging or just strolling

Excellent for walking and cycling, great for kids (lots of dens) and dogs. Lots of parking. Despite the amount of people at the entrance of the parking- runners, cyclists on a sunday morning, we walked and didnt cross many people.

Green everywhere you can forget the route if you're not conscious because the forest is dense with lot of different species of 🌲 trees. We made a picnic with Friends enjoyed a lot with the weather and the pure air.we keep food for lot of rabbits.👌

A very nice big forest not to far off from Paris. We spent 2 hours walking there and that did not even cover half of the forest.

M'y rating is based on it not exactly being a Californian's idea of a forest. I am used to forests of redwoods and pines. Also I visited it with a local French family shortly after the Paris attacks in November when people had limited options for weekend outings. There were a lot of people parked along the roads with no apparent adequate parking lot. Trees were bare deciduous ones. The trail we used was like a fire road. It could be beautiful in other seasons. It's very large and loved by Parisians. It is expansive, has wildlife and is on the edge of Paris in a very nice community.
