Beautiful hotel, but this attitude towards future guests is unacceptable. We arrived at the hotel from Paris to plan a birthday party for 15 people, no one met us except for the guard who looked at me like a thief, despite the fact that I was dressed in luxury clothes, I wanted to see the hotel, have a drink champagne, instead we were told that this was not possible and asked to leave as the entire hotel was occupied, although there was none inside the Hotel. I am also a blogger who would make you free advertising and be your client. I am ready to revise my review if the hotel management contacts me with an apology.

Serene and beautiful chateau cocooned in an idyllic forest. 🤍 Perfect place to relax and escape the fast paced city life. You can also enjoy beautiful hike trails in the forest to get from one town to the other. I loved my stay there and will definitely be going back!

What a blast I had with girlfriend there. A massive thank you to Alice, Étienne and Sarah would welcomed us like sovereigns :) Great place, the castle is magnificent with a wonderful choice of decorations and style. Food is exquisite and all-you-can-eat (beware of eaten quantities!), I highly recommend. Staff and service are top notch and this place will benefit from future activities. Already a must-have in my list. I will be back ;)

Excellent experience. The place is amazing and the people are super nice. Special mention to Camille at the reception and chef Etienne who pay special attention to us and our 5 months old son. We will definitively come back. Best point: the food, no contest here Worst point: nop

If you are looking for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, this is definitely not the place. We booked a two nights stay to relax with my wife, and my 5 months old daughter, and the experience was horrible right from the beginning. Upon check in, they gave us a room which was accessible through an elevator that didn’t work! So we had to explain to them that is was not possible to access our room with a 5 month old and the stroller. After 20 min of discussion, which added to the stressful situation, they changed our room to one facing the buffet. Regarding their activities, only two Scandinavian pools were working out of the four they got. As it was a first come first serve bases, the experience was nearly impossible. Trying to leave all that behind, my wife booked a place in a workshop on gardening they were offering. After planning our whole day based on the fact that she needed to be at a certain place in the hotel at 18, she arrived and was told that they outsourced the workshop and their provider failed to attend. Not much of a sorry there either. To add to this stressful situation, the booking said that we would have a late check out for “FREE” in bold on Sunday. Upon request they told me it was not possible although their offered stated so. I explained that they were falsely advertising their offers, to which they replied that they would give me one hour extra (not so much of a “late check-out”). Nevertheless, at 12 o clock they blocked our access to our room with all our things in it! We had to strongly explain why such attitude was out of place considering the email they sent us. After another 20 min debate they finally granted us access to our room without so much of a sorry. The cherry on top was the fact that the buffet had only two options: meat or fish. So if your are vegetarian like my wife, your option is just the starter salads. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Everything was great except very pricey dinner. It cost €60 per person with 4course 1. Poached egg 2. Fish with purée 3. Cheese plate (also available for every guest) 4. Lemon tart. I would recommend to stay without dinner, enjoy free snack and drinks that is enough.

I booked a solo weekend escapade for my husband’s birthday and he loved the experience! Said the service was wonderful, the facilities were great, and it was overall a very nice break with a vie de chateau/countryside feel near Paris.

EXCELLENT! From the staff (friendly & helpful) to the rooms (tastefully designed) to the meals (sumptuous, top quality ingredients) & to the activities (tandem biking, hot bath, game room, trampoline, movie room, large lawn & right smack in the middle of the forest) - 5 star.

Beautiful place, excellent for kids with the playroom and everything, but while we were expecting an amazing dinner experience, since we were there on a Wednesday, was very disappointing. No menu for kids and only two options as main dish, meaning only half of the group actually ate, and with the steel prices and high expectation (from the website) this was very disappointing.

Just fantastic. I've never been to a place that is more adapted to having a family brunch. Chic but laid back, the all-inclusive format is so great. Loved it.

We spent a weekend at the beautiful historical castel where Louis IV was residing. The staff, the food and the overall experience was just marvellous. The kids loved the proposed activities and the food was outstanding, we are vegan and there was a huge choice of diverse healthy food available.

Top hotel for urban millennials. We liked every single bit of our 3 day stay. The cooking is inspiring and generous. Go there!

The location was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The room was clean and simple. Everything was great, exempt for the plumbing in the shower --- the shower temperature did not stay consistent, and would switch on its own from a warm temperature, to extreme hot and cold. The staff is freindly and helpful, the hotel property is gorgeous, and the parking is a plenty! Also, Google maps will attempt to bring you to another location, finding the property took a little bit of work. Overall: good experience, but would prefer that the shower was consistent temperature. Lovely stay otherwise :)

It was a Valentine's Day that we spent there and it was like a dream. It was very quite and beautiful. When you know the history of the place it makes it even more special. It is better to come there by car but we walked throught the big parc and had a lot of pleasure. The people who worked theree were so nice that showed us closed rooms of the chateau. It was a very unique experience.

Beautiful and quiet, clean, good price. Bathrooms are built in later on and small (I would assume it’s normal for older places). It’s far away from any place where you can eat and they have this rule you can’t eat in your room: this complicates your logistics and takes a bit of the charm away of enjoying the chateau with some wine and food.

A difference hotel experience! Garden and landscaping not as shown in pictures! Very clean, quiet countryside, large room with small lounge & very high ceiling, large windows looking out into the garden was a plus; so although NO air condition was fine at this time of the year ( end Sept ) with cool temperature. Limited food choices in the area, Communication issue ( only French if you need any service! ).

This is a beautiful genteel hotel, and the service is impeccable. The building itself is a historical manor house, and the rooms are well appointed and decorated to match the building. The restaurant has a different menu every night with 2 options of starters, mains and dessert. The wine was as good as expected. I highly recommend this hotel and want to return soon. PS: ignore the review which said there was no kettle in the room, there was a kettle, tea and coffee (just bring your own milk) and toiletries in the bathroom.

An ideal location. Very well designed but suffering from poor management in spite of the goodwill of a personel not sufficiently trained. Nevertheless I recommend the place.

This is the perfect hotel for families as well as couples. It's tranquility is sublime and you even have the option to sleep in a high quality tree-tent if you want to watch the stars. The staff did their utmost to make our stay perfect right from the receptionist to the chef who made fantastic meals for us. They said we should just feel at home, which we easily did. We highly recommend this castle for anyone with the love of nature, beauty and silence.

😠 The place is nice, and the cashier was nice. The food arrived quickly but the food was horrible, this is nothing like tacos, the only thing that was fine was the fries but stay away from this place.
