The room was exactly as it was described and bigger. Extra clean and comfortable. Decor was simple, elegant and warm. It has two plants, and enough to be comfortable without taking unnecessary room away. There were sweets and good wine as courtesy. Now the host, he was super!! Very attentive, flexible and kind. He told us of a very good places to go. Finally, the location. 10-15 mins walk from Central station, downtown, music center, and 5 minutes walk from main museum. The location was simply perfect.

Absolutely Fabulous Location cleanliness quality size comfort views from and layout of the rooms were excellent. That combined with friendly professional informative helpful welcoming host made our stay at the Canal Inn perfect. From the moment we booked to our departure the helpful communication process advising public transport things to do and see recommending eating locations made the whole experience just right. We travel a lot and this accommodation was absolutely fabulous

We stayed here for 4 nights last week. Great location, immaculate and modern rooms. Christian was a great host. The room is compact, but well-appointed with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, snacks, and a bottle of wine. Right near a bus stop which is well connected.

Amazing stay. Can't recommend it enough. We stayed for 3 nights and it had everything we wanted. Within walking distance to all the sights but also had great transport links if needed. Christian was also a fantastic host and was always there to ask any questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Cristian was the most considerate and thoughtful host. There was no better way to start the day, with his home cooked breakfast and great suggestions where to go. Our room was impeccably clean and stylish. We will be back!!!

Just had three nights, excellent location, walking distance from station. Lovely modern fresh room with amazing view over canal, always something to watch. Unfortunately my husband was unwell and Chris, our host was superb, ensuring we found a doctor, providing unending supply of coffee for the Nespresso machine, keeping in touch by text and on departure let us overstay our checkout and arranged a taxi for us to station. We didn't see much of Amsterdam so will be going back as ND look forward to our, return to the Canal House. Brilliant pointers on local cafes and restaurants too and really helpful local info too.
