One cashier was telling another to watch my son because he looked like he was going to steal something all because he was trying some sunglasses. That comment will never leave my mind. The cashier did not know that who they were talking about was my son. Good that I am a very descent person and I did not make a big deal at the store; however, Belk went from being one of my favorite stores to shop to being the last store I desire to go.

This store has really gone down hill in recent years. Poor selection, clothing quality is not what it once was, store was very unorganized and messy on my visit. Very understaffed. When you can find them staff is rude and unhelpful. Do not recommend. Drive a little further and spend your money elsewhere.

Great store, nice prices and good quality. Order online unless you want to stand in line for a very long time. 15 people lined up and one cashier. Very poor customer service on the part of management.

Nine people in customer service line either for check out or returns. One cashier. One associate pushing clothes around on a wheeled rack. I'm an old man... don't wanna die waiting in line to return socks. This is one happening place!

The problem with corporate stores is the employees could care less if you buy something or not. There are employees all over the store but only 2 people to check you out. Belks please remember without us you go out of business!!

Good luck finding mens jeans here... so unorganized have to dig through random random pairs sometimes random brands to not find what you were looking for at the bottom.. Definitely not paying inflated prices for already beat up jeans that have been at the bottom of a stack for months. Do yourself a favor and buy your Levis online (not belks site though) 👍

I went to this Belk today with one problem. The store manager Suzanna helped me with that. She is an amazing person. Looks very professional and decent. I liked how she handle customer's problem. I appreciate her cooperation.

I don't want to completely trash this place, because I am sure the workers that are here wish it was better to. Pretty clear they don't have enough staff and the store is in disarray with limited items. I'm sure the limited staff are doing what they can, but hopefully these chain retailers can make it a bit better for the people working here and in turn the customers.

Nobody even bother to care what I need. Standing front of the Estée Lauder for 30 mins, and suppose I need to open the drawer and pick whatever I want ????? I proactively ask if someone knows the product I need, one cashier just simply tells me “ I don’t know anything about the products” ???!!!! I would give 0 if i could

Good store for ladies! Good specials and sales, but what is up with the men's dept? Only golf clothing and teen looking clothing! Awful. Children's department could be better too. NEVER enough sales people to check out.

Store departments, especially shoes and ladies bras and underwear is messy! Shoe boxes scattered all around, bras and underwear off rack laying in the floor, racks are fairly organized with exception of a few that were too overwhelming to look at, no way would I even attempt to find an item hanging on them. Check out lines are extremely long but the young man running the register was very nice, knowledgeable and willing to help! The jewelry department was the total Pitts smh. We waited for at least 10 minutes for someone to appear behind the counter to help us when she finally sondered over and became ready to work, she was rude and had an awful and sarcastic attitude 😑 😒 and when I tried to bring it to her attention she became almost argumentative! This was no teenager who just didn't know how to handle themselves, this lady was middle aged and knowingly challenged me when I brought her rudeness to her attention. I didn't get her name but she was working jewelry department today between 3-5 . Definitely will take my business elsewhere if I have to deal with her again, I'm not paying to be treated badly

Am disabled. Ordered through person online and received pajama sets. Called and was told someone wld call me back 5 days ago to help me with return. Wrong size sent , broken hangers, and called back in numerous times. Rude customer service. Will try again now.

Great staff! Assistance with my son for a black outfit, as well as, my Dad needed a few things and the young lady @ the cash register was extremely helpful/nice.

Amy did an amazing job. She helped me find a foundation to cover my birth mark. She matched my color up on the first try with the Estēe Lauder double wear. She was patient and she took her time. I will definitely be back. Amazing customer service.

The store was a complete mess. I have never shopped at a Belk's that was this disorganized. There were isles I couldn't even go down because products were all over the floor. Even if you are short staffed you could prioritize what needs to be done first.

Was absolutely spectacular. So clean.Sparkling Clean Told a person there that their manager needed to go to Winston-Salem & clean that store up. Going to have to start driving to High Point to go to Belk. Would be worth the drive.

Omg I could not believe the lines. 5 people long line, and then just when we were next the second cashier decided to go ahead and stop working entirely and walk away. The cashier left went over every item including life history discussions with each item returned by the next person. I could not believe they were so inconsiderate.

Slim selection several items. When I ask an associate for help they advised that the Friendly Center location will have more options. A bit disappointing as this store is much closer for me.

Good place was long time when they had excellent merchandise with durable and made withexcellent material ow I went several times with the desire of good quality merchandise purchased but cannot find the cloths which I bought thirty years ago still I am using and they like to look at new even my sons discarded beautiful shirts and sweeter but I hold all for my personal use if you allow me I feel proud to show every one I wish and pray to seeing again that kind of textures

The store was kind of messy, especially around the sale items. Items. Some were so jumbled couldn't make sense of them. There was a nice selection of many items however and it wasn't crowded.

I came to this Belk out of convenience but it has been nothing but total, utter chaos and confusion. From almost getting hit multiple times in the parking lot, to tripping over inventory to find a possible selection, the whole set up is less than favorable. I tried (being the keyword) to purchase a pair of boots online in which I ended up paying for four times… with not *one* confirmation number (system glitch I assume). Upon trying to resolve this issue over the phone, I decided to head to the store for some clarity. I was told I’d have to wait for everything to reverse itself which I was promised would take two days… it took 10 lol. Once I finally reordered with a confirmation number, the size was wrong but I was told I could simply bring the package to them for an exchange. After coming in today and waiting in line for almost an hour (49 mins), no one knew what I was talking about, nor could help. I was only advised to search for my shoe, on my own, which I was already told wasn’t available in that store. After waiting in line once more, I was credited another refund which I assume will take another additional 10 days. I needed these boots for a memorial service and not only am I inconvenienced by not having the shoe or refund, but more importantly not knowing how Belk’s “exclusive” online ordering, processing, exchanging and returning process works; but after all of this, I genuinely do not care to. One star for the neutral tone everyone used in making me feel like somehow I should know how a policy that not even all associates understand should work. If this is how all department stores in the area function, I see why the Oak Hollow Mall didn’t last, sheesh.

10/15/22 I’ve always liked to get stuff from Belk’s. The customer service lines are bad now no sense of urgency. Seems like they are not knowledgeable nor friendly with returns. It took till 2nd day to do my return. Due to new card issue I guess. After the return, I felt like treating myself so I went over to fine jewelry counter. All the time I spent looking, I was told 1 product wasn’t on clearance just in wrong place & both are higher than originally told. Then after waiting for 30 mins a manager finally came and she didn’t know what she was doing. And she asked for my ID I handed it to her then when I extended my hand for it. She tried to put it on counter. I told her I would give this review because my shopping experience was poor. I told her that’s why I don’t like to shop in store. She said you where here yesterday. Every time spoke she had something sassy to say back. Which was not friendly business. I told her because they were not able to do my return yesterday. Her name was Suzanne and I do not recommend Belk because of this ill acting manager. Please do better this my first time ever doing a review negatively on Belk. But the management has gone down. I will make sure I do less shopping here.

Great store because it is a standalone belt store and it's not very crowded. It's pretty large and have tons of mark-offs/discounts on all sorts of items. Great Belk to go to if you want a quick in and out experience without a bunch of hassle and other customers.

The selections for our needs is just about right. Prices are reasonable for the times in which we live. Staff is willing and able to figure out the sales items, coupons, etc. which are confusing. Pleased with our purchases to date.

My wife and I very glad we found Belk. A retail place that you can try on clothes and shoes and get a great deal. Staff was very friendly. We went to 2 locations one in Jamestown/High Point and also Winston Salem at Hanes Mall. Both were very pleasant experiences. We have been back to Jamestown/High Point 2 times and we plan to go back to Winston Salem again soon.

Belk is a great department store that sells clothes, jewelry, and homegoods. You can find some national brands and store specific brands. I think the quality of the items they sell is good, and the prices are very fair. The staff are some of the friendliest you will find working in any department store.

They don't get restocked often enough and lack a variety of things in my size. There is also not too much help around so know your measurements beforehand to save some time.

Pick-up experience was fantastic! I text that I had arrived before I exited my car and the representative was walking up to meet me when I arrived at pick-up.

So grateful we still have a place to buy clothes in our town, this store still has a wide selection of items. I think they are also short staffed like other places, as there were only there available places to check out. The staff was super-friendly and helpful.

I was in need of a dress shirt and tie and they were very helpful. Even made sure I got the correct length for the arms.

I bought my grandson a Guess watch for his birthday at Belk. I gave it to him and the band needed some links taken out. I called Belk in High Point jewelry department and ask when someone would be there to take them out for me. The woman told me she couldn't give me anyone's schedule. I didn't ask for a schedule, I ask for someone who could help me. She told me to just come out there every day until I caught someone there. I live 20 miles away and that is not happening. I went to a wonderful jewelry store in Thomasville and was taken care of on the spot. If you ever need jewelry of any kind with a beautiful, clean store and great customer service go to Avis's in Thomasville. I will never enter another Belk store and would do without before I bought from Belk again.

I've been told Belk is the Macy's of the south. I guess I agree. It seems to cater to grandma's more than the younger generation. But, yes I do like shopping here.

Quality goods with good sale prices. Great customer service. I've been doing business with them for 40yrs and I've never been disappointed!

This store has nice and friendly associates. They carry a nice selection of clothes, shoes, and intimate apparel. Store is also kept clean. I would shop here.
