This place was a tourist trap. We came on a Saturday and it was dead. It must be quite lively at other times but there is a curfew in Dominican Republic and this place is just dead. Most things are closed and the one restaurant that is supposed to be authentic Dominican cuisine is not good at all. Once again, tourist trap. We spent lots of money in this restaurant and the service was awful. Stay away if you can.

It was definitely an experience. Coco Bongo was a whole vibe. The show was very entertaining. I enjoyed the diversity of the music played. The drinks were great and the servers were phenomenal. Downtown Punta Cana has many different bar/restaurants. They were all fantastic. It's open space so you can sit and eat anywhere; dance the night away since they're open till 4am.

Downtown Punta Cana is a nice and secure place to go out with friends and family for a night on the town. They have several bars and a couple of clubs with a variety of local restaurants as well. The atmosphere is lively and inviting and centers around the Coco Bongo club as the main attraction. Plenty of people and nightlife usually carries on until about 2AM. If you don't have prearranged transportation it can be pricey depending on where you are staying. There are also local attendants who speak multiple languages who can point you in the direction of bathrooms or street vendors for food and souvenirs

It was great to get out of the tourist area and explore the malls with the locals. No negotiations needed. But honestly, the price of products here are the same in Canada. The difference is that the people of DR don't have the same income. I wish you guys the best!

I liked the whole experience. The only thing that did not make the experience great is that all the drinks served here beside beer is disgusting. The drinks were tasteless. You will not be able to enjoy a classic rhum and coke. The show is epic, well done, well excuted by professionnals, they do not have anything to envy from the vegas shows.

It gets crazy at night time. Lot of places to drink and have a bite. Lit up pretty nicely at night. No complaints. Only been in this area at night time on weekends.

Coco Bongo was the only place I've visited that gives this form of entertainment. You get theatrical performances, Singing and dancing, clubbing all in 1 party. It's a must see show. If they can compare this with a Las Vegas show then you know it's a must see. People came out by the numbers. It was a great show. I enjoyed my night.

I was skeptical about paying $85 to go to a "club" even with the "open bar" perk to sweeten the deal. But I really couldn't find anything else to do last minute on a Tuesday so me and my sister decided to check it out. When I tell yall it DID NOT disappoint!!!! It was wayyy more than I could've ever expected. I can't even count the number of performances and they were all awesome. Plus the music was lit, the crowd was lit, the staff was engaging and no drama. The open bar is really an open bar with multiple bars to go to. I never stood in line for a drink. If you want a mixed drink, you can get it. If you want just straight alcohol in your cup, you can get it ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! If you don't pay for V.I.P you won't have a place to sit down. Normally this would immediately turn me off or prompt me to pay for V.I.P but I stuck with the general admission and had the time of my life. I was on my feet jumping around and dancing (no heels) for 5 hours straight and didn't even notice nor care. It was so fun and so much going on that I really was just having a great time. There is another location in Cancun and now I want to plan a trip there just to experience that location as well. This was the best experience I had the whole time I was in Punta Cana. Don't hesitate GO..... you will not regret it!

Coco bongo was too crowded. We had open bar wrist bands and we received only one (1) watered down drink. Not worth the price.

It's good just for one night experience. The show wasn't bad, but I guess it's for a more old school type of crowd. Music selection it's mostly odies and music from the 2000's. The waiters are not really attentive or friendly even if you tip them. Drinks are bad. They all taste the same even if you ask for different drinks.

Coco Bongo was absolutely amazing! We did the VIP package to ensure front row seats of the shows and branded drinks. Staff were great and drinks came quickly .... photo opportunity with The Mask and Beetlejuice. Tribute acts , and acrobatics were brilliant and entertaining. Disco played a variety of songs to appease audiences from all around the world. Would definitely recommend and would definitely do this again!

No way this show should last 4 hours!! I can't drink enough rum to pass the time in between show segments! Try the Cirque de Soleil show instead, wished we had ......

Was expecting something totally different for the $$ amount of money paid in each ticket. They offer open bar all night long but as soon as they touch midnight they stra charging for each drink. The show was good, can deny but it doesn't worth the money.. The services was awful 😖 they waitress were more focus only on customer paying full bottle and not the rest of the mortals who had paid bunch of money to enjoy as well. Definitely not going back.
