The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and cozy. The beach is located very close. The noise from the railway wasn't a problem for us. I highly recommend this place. It's a great deal.

We spent 5 days here and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The rooms were well presented and clean with everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Lucky, Sveta and the team work hard to ensure their guests have a comfortable stay. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away, with shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk away. One thing to note is that the hotel is situated on the train line so I would recommend ear plugs for those that sleep lightly. All in all, this is a great value for money stay in Hikkaduwa.

L&D is located 2 min walk from the famous turtles beach, the nicest in Hikkaduwa, and walking distance from bars and sea restaurants. I spent there 10 nights while travelling Sti Lanka with my 13 year-old boy. The room was very comfortable and very clean, the cleaning lady would do it every day!! The hotel is in a safe area and rooms have wifi and Ac. But to make this place really special is the staff: the owner, the director, the cook and the handyman boy they all went out of their way to help and make me and my son feel at home. Thank you for making our holiday truly special ❤️⭐️🙏

Great little hotel 5 minutes from the best beach in Hikkaduwa. The rooms and common areas are very clean, the staff is helpful. The rooms have a kettle, dishes, air conditioning, towels and linen, hot water. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Even windows with textured glass that let in sunlight and keep the room invisible from the outside) A small balcony with a table where you can have breakfast. Refrigerator and desk. Everything is very well thought out. This place is ideal for holidays, it is not on the first line (so it is not noisy here), and at the same time it is a few steps from all the infrastructure. Diving club, beach without waves with turtles, surf beach, all shops, fruit stands and cafes nearby.

I can say one of the best places i have ever stay. This is a small lodge, but they have maintain it like a star hotel. Exceptionally clean and tidy. You can never expect that much of cleanliness in a lodge. They maintain the premise extremely well. Rates are really good, specially when you compare with the other places in Hikkaduwa. All the staff is very supportive and friendly. Specially the manager, Lakshan is giving an exceptional support and care for all the guests. He make sure for you to have a great experience here. Place not situated in beach front, but beach just few minutes away. I have not seen any negative of this place. Highly recommend this place for who are looking for accommodation in Hikkaduwa.
