The service was very poor. Housekeeping staff were taking forever to send room essentials. In a triple only one towel was kept. The worst stay experience in my life. The so called “international buffet” had less than 15 items. 🤣 and their European buffet had milk rice. Mr supervisor/manager please contact us if possible. Thank you. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. We were asked to fill water bottles at a filter.

Great location by the beach, but unfortunately the conditions especially the rooms, wash areas, balconies, ceiling and stairs will make you disappointed. First, the cluttered parking will terrify you and sometimes loading/unloading takes place at the same entrance. The lift was not working but nobody bothered to inform. This place would be ok for a casual gathering, but still, the overall quality will disappoint you and hinder the chance of making great memories compared to other good places close by. Again, the food variety is not up to the standard and the table arrangement was very poor. However, you will have the luxury of unsolicitated photographer/owners ☺️ With all these, don't get surprised if they ask you to make the full payment at the reception!

Very bad customer service. Management does not respect people. They had blocked even the lift and asked our kids to use staircase for go to 5th floor from the ground floor. Wash room cleaning has not been done. I will never come again here due to their poor customer service.

We recently hosted our engagement function at Lavanga Resort & Spa and it was an incredible experience. Wr check in for one night stay and this hotel has library and Movie theatre which is very unusual for a beach hotel in Hikka . Great staff who are very friendly and attentive. The Dinner was average but breakfast with String hoppers and Sri lankan curries and the Lunch which is Ala carte was super . Will go there again for sure !!

This is a nice hotel for any function and you can get rooms for your accomodations. Customer friendly staff in there and nice view in there between sea and the hotel. Also a pool in there. Food are very tasty and you can get many verities of foods from there. Many foreigners come there to enjoy.

Terrible stay at this hotel. Rooms and unclean and no food varieties. I would say this is a budget hotel. This stay is not up to the expected level.

The place is definitely a like a 3-star hotel. The beach was amazing though it is a little dangerous so you have be careful & take some advice from the staff. The rooms were better the best part in my opinion, the buffet was okay 👍🏻 overall the experience was positive. Would recommend 👍🏼

Excellent hotel with excellent location. Extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, that made our stay more interesting. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! The waiters are very friendly and polite. We had a wonderful time specially the duty housekeeping supervisor Dilankar bonny gave us an excellent service and it's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Lavanga Hotel!!! We certainly will be back again very soon.

The food at Lavanga hotel is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the chefs and waiters are so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

It was a well spent day with these guys!. Good was awesome, and the staff was very good and helpful. Great location right on the beach. Easy access. Ample parking. Well trained English speaking staff. We went there on day package with 16pacs. They welcomed us warmly and arranged a private area for us! They went out of their way to organise a private singer for our entertainment. Lunch was a customized buffet that suited our dietary requirements. They have a hood pool and even a pool guard. They gave us a free day room! And they have changing rooms everywhere. Decent pricing for food and beverages! Highly recommend Thushari. She was great and super helpful!

The location is beyond beautiful, the hotel staff were friendly and seems to love working there. We stayed for 1 night and the food was good too, but overall we felt like the place needed a renovation badly, however for the amount we booked Lavanga , we loved our stay, we got their best suite and can say its spacious with a nice view of the beach. If you're looking for a budget friendly place with a view, I can recommend. Closed Parking is available.

Very good location if you love beach. Rooms are nice and service is average only. Food was not that good only limited options available. Overall hotel need to be renovated. The manager need to learn guest handling.

Everything was great. Great service, very tasty food in restaurant. The hotel on the first line by the sea, so you can go to the beach just from the hotel, or you can dinner with sounds of sea.

Hotel has a nice view of the sea and the beach. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom is clean. Staff was helpful. Food was good. But didn't have much variety.

The worst experience ever. Do not book this hotel for any event. Food was terible and not the menu we ordered. Drink served with plastic cups instead glasses. ACs are not working in the hall. Management was disappointing.the even forced to end the party sooner than we organized.

We had Leadership Seminar 3.0 in AIESEC in Ruhuna for two days at this hotel. Hotel management was friendly with us. Foods also tasty and the rooms are also comfortable. This is a very nice place for vacations.

The Hotel has great views. Nice n clean beach. I would like to thank the hotel staff for your hospitality. It was a good relaxing time we had there. And we noticed that the pool assistant did a great job by cleaning the pool. Hard working guy.

The food was not very good. Was okay. The rooms had a few issues but overall okay with very nice views if you get a sea view room.

The rooms were comfortable enough, but the room service was horrible. The toilet seat had some black residue on it when we arrived. The buffet was also pretty bad. The view and the beach was very nice though. Nice pool. Overall the cleanliness and food quality could be much improved.

The room is pretty spacious and the view outside was absolutely great. Only wifi connection is the problem and those cluttered cigarette butts in the balcony didn't properly clean before the guest arrive. But over all it's good. 👍
