We were initially allocated a smoking room incorrectly. They did change us but to a non smoking room on the same floor as smoking. The corridors smelt strongly of smoke to the extent that the smell was coming in to our room. When we asked to change they said they had no other availability. The hotel is dated and we couldn’t open the curtains due to works going on outside. That said, close to the train station and beds are comfortable. A little far from the castle. Would have been helpful if they gave out information about how to travel around/bus times etc.

With this aged and dusty interiors, it is a bit over priced compare to other hotels. The staff do not have much passions but I rated as 3.4 since the beautyrest bed wasn’t that bad.

Recently, I have got a chance to visit Hirosaki City, Japan and for the accommodation I chosen Art in the Hirosaki City. As per my stay there I can say Art Hotel offers most lavish experience in the Hirosaki City. Following are the points on which review is based: 1. Location of the Hotel: Art hotel is next to the exit of Hirosaki Railway Station. Since the place is known for Apples 🍎 , one can find apple signboard in the railway station and outside the hotel too. So the location of Art hotel is best. 2. Rooms and Toilets: We stayed there on 11 floor and the view of hirosaki from window was just awesome. Rooms were cleaned and hygienic. We took that room that has three beds because we were three. So the space of rooms was really appreciated. Toilet was also having enough space and bathtub was also there , so it was so relaxing. 3. Hotel Restaurant : hotel restaurant is on second floor I guess and the intro of the restaurant is appreciated. Ambiance was also pleasant. Our breakfast was included in the room price. So we had only breakfast there. Rest we ate outside. There were so many options in the breakfast. So personally I really liked the breakfast buffet. So nicely presented everything there. Staff members of the restaurant were also really polite. Arigato to the staff members. 4. Staff: Staff members on the reception were too good and polite. I remember they explained us how to explore Aomori and nearby Aomori sites . They also helped how to take bus service from hirosaki to Tokyo. So a big Arigato to one and all staff members. 5. Seven eleven was also in the ground floor so one can have anything 24x7 . This is really nice thing. Banquet is also really good. So based on my experience there I can say Art hotel Hirosaki city is worth of money. Therefore I am giving five stars for everything what I experienced there . ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️hence this hotel is highly recommended if you have the budget.

It would be nice if someone at the front desk spoke a little English . The rooms were of very good quality and very comfortable.

Spotlessly clean. Big cosy beds and an awesome coffee/ pastry spot on the main floor.

The buffet is amazing! The best buffet in recent memory! I did not try to dinner but my friend did and it is her number 1 she has ever had. We all did the breakfast and after a night of drinking this helped me. Rooms were nice and A bit better than average too. Great location right beside the station.

The Art Hotel is in a great location, right next to the train station. The rooms are cozy and everything you need is provided. The A/C didn't work as well as we would've liked but it did the job! All of the staff are friendly, though communication can be difficult at times I'd you don't speak Japanese.

Stayed here for a night. This hotel has large room with extremely comfy bed. Even if its just a night, we had a good rest. Breakfast selection is good. Wide varieties.

Breakfast very good. Rooms small but no smaller than those budget chains in Japan . Similar to the Richmond chain but better breakfasts. It's an old Best Western hotel now branded as Hotel Mystays calling itself Art Hotel. Small car park at back and possibly stacking car park. 7 convenience store on ground. No complaints except aircon isn't effective.

Great place to stay. Super close to the Hirosaki Station, there are 100 yen bus stop which you can pretty much go sightseeing place. There are good Izakaya (Japanese Bar) around this area. Very clean room with nice size/roomie. I truly suggest staying here if you are looking for hotel which located at convenient place.

I had a great high-end teppanyaki dinner. It was a party with fellow co-workers and the service was great. The food (steak, chawanmushi, vegetables, etc) was all cooked to perfection. We were also served coffee/tea and dessert afterwards. Even though one coworker had to leave early, the staff was accommodating and packed a dessert to-go. Had a great time!

We reserved this hotel for 3 nights through Travelocity. The location is good. The front desk person can be more cheerful.....The room is just plain....nothing ‘artistic’ about it. The price seems higher than others......

A wonderful hotel right next to Hirosaki JR station. Friendly staff, and big rooms. Only complaint is that the rooms get very hot, even with room heating turned off. Fortunately, you can open the windows to help cool the room.

Stayed for four nights, had a great experience! Located right in front of the JR Hirosaki line. Remember to get the breakfast package when you're booking your stay - great spread. There are spaces available for parking & you'll need to let the front desk know. They will reserve a lot for you - but you have to pay for the parking space. Car rental companies and food outlets are just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Have started here several times. This time i stayed 2 nights. The room provides just the basic needs. It has a TV, air cleaner, water hot pot, cups, basic amenities, combined wash room and toilet with bidet, towels and wifi. It also has a restaurant that provides a full blast breakfast buffet and a bar, this time it is closed. There is also a convenience store connected to the lobby. The hotel is just next to Hirosaki station so very convenient as the taxis and buses are also there. Very satisfied.

Rooms are old, smell of old carpet and smoke smell in non smoking room. Toilet has old ‘sour’ musky smell. No ac function during winter and I slept thru the night with windows on. Location is perfect as there’s convenience store by the lobby and about 2 mins walk to train station.
