😠 Horrible hostel. First of all, there are no lockers to store your things, only tiny ones that only fit your wallet but if you're traveling with a laptop it does not fit. And not enough lockers for the number of people staying at the hostel. More than 20 beds but only two bathrooms and two showers.... People often mention hostel, night, room, beds, owner, clean, people, check, comfortable, area,

Just a bad hostel Let's start with the fact that there are too many beds in the room and there is always noise. Snoring competition at night and people coming and going all the time. There are no lockers to lock the important things (there are very small ones and not enough for all the guests). The place is not secure and anyone can go in and out with things. Someone random came in and slept on the couch in the room. I had to pay for an external locker, an addition to the high price we paid here for the accommodation. In the same matter of not being enough for the number of guests, there are only 2 toilets (one for men) and two showers for everyone. Not enough at all. Be prepared for long lines. Although there are beds ready, the owner does not provide information about which bed is yours until after 4 o'clock so as not to "waste" the bed. Late check in and very early check out, just reflects how inefficient the place is. On the same subject, we received the email how to enter the room after 4 o'clock, the already late hour for entering the room, even though the beds were ready before. With all of the above and this place is outrageously expensive, and even though the place is expensive they still charge money for basic things like a towel. We made a mistake coming here and it's a shame we can't get the money back.

Horrible hostel. First of all, there are no lockers to store your things, only tiny ones that only fit your wallet but if you're traveling with a laptop it does not fit. And not enough lockers for the number of people staying at the hostel. More than 20 beds but only two bathrooms and two showers. One bathroom is marked as only for ladies but that's not the case as guys freely use it as well. There's a number lock on the bedroom door but the main door to the hostel is open all night so anyone can come in. We woke up to see a random guy sleeping on the couch in our room.. Room was stuffy and stunk of bad breath (14 beds), not ventilated enough. No place to move or put your bags. Bed not comfortable. Staff non-existent. The guy comes by for about an hour a day around check in time and that's it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE — especially for female solo travellers. The worst ever hostel experience I had. I have stayed in hostels all around the world but this is really such a bad experience. Lack of security-inside and outside the rooms. Noise. Smell. I ended up staying up all night waiting for the morning light to just get out of here. I have slept before in mixed hostel and had no issues, but here I was a young girl to find out later in the night that some old grandpas sleeping in the beds up, and all around my bed - I am sorry but this is so weird and make me feel insecure. Because there is no front staff in the room and I am left all night with those old men around me. There is no staff or front door or anything, and the building door is open all night so anyone can just enter. Also this place is really noise. There is no hostel culture or even basic rules and someone to tell people coming in after 23:00 to be quiet. People come in shouting and laughing while others sleep and it is sleeping time. This is horrible. And also the hostel owner messaged me to take some earplugs that they have in the common area. But those the earplugs are not even in a sealed package. For hygiene reasons earplugs that are not in a sealed package can cause serious ear infections because of microbes. Even I use my own earplugs and still there are so many noises of people and ventilation machine next to the bed. And those grandpas talking next to my bed past midnight. This is such a horrible experience. I just stayed up all night waiting for the light to get out of this hell. Plus it smells so bad. Those old men left again around half past midnight and came back an hour later still talking loud in the dorm. And as they fall asleep they started snoring and farting terribly. Also one ignorant left their phone in loud mode and it kelt making noises of notifications all night. Unforgettable hell night.

Overall a great stay for a few days exploring Hiroshima. Location was great - 20 minute walk to train and bus station, 20 minutes to the Peace Memorial Park. The owner was very nice and let us check in early, which was much appreciated. The hostel was clean and comfortable. A few minorly annoying things - there was no storage for big luggage, so it got quite cramped. No storage for little items in the bed - only a very narrow shelf and one hanger - although there were small lockers for valuables outside the room. Continuing the cramped theme, the shower room was very small too. The AC didn't quite reach my bed tucked around the corner, so it got a bit hot overnight. There's free tea and coffee and a microwave, no other kitchen items. There are laundry facilities for ¥100.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff and located on a quiet street (despite being in a nightclub area??). A little run-down in places, but overall it’s okay for a night or two. Kitchen is: fridge, hot water kettle, toaster, microwave and sink. Coffee/tea packets provided. Towels can be rented for ¥100. There’s a 7-11 next door which is handy. About 15-20 minutes away from Hiroshima Station walking at a fast pace, or if you go the other direction you can reach a large shopping district.

Very disappointed and definitely the worst hostel I stayed during my whole travel in Japan. The hostel is located in a night club area, where a lot of drunk people walk the street. It surprised me that the hostel cannot locked - it stayed open the whole night and people could just enter it and walk to the beds in the first floor. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe while sleeping. In addition, when I arrived 6pm to check in nobody was at the reception. I received no explanation about anything nor anybody showed where I sleep. There is no kitchen and no common area (except from a little table and three chairs). Furthermore, when I came to the bed I realized it’s not even ready - I needed to put the linen by myself. Last but not least, the toilet and shower were not clean + the bed was covered in a lot of dust. Clearly, nobody cares about cleanliness. Overall, I highly recommend looking for another place as there are much better hostel for an even better price.

Good for friends. We were lucky and hostel was pretty empty so we could enjoy some half privacy. Truth is that number of showers and toilets would not be sufficient if the hotel was full but as i said we got lucky. On the day of our checkin was rainy and I felt pretty bad and the owner let me lay to my bed 2 hours before checkin time and I extremely appreciated this as i really needed it! We felt safe here and you can do free morning tea or coffee so that is a bonus too.

Lovely owner, super comfy bed, very clean, great location! I highly recommend to stay at this hostel. The owner is super warm and helpful, he will give you all the information you need and will make you feel at home. We stayed in the mixed dormitory and had a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, and have everything you need in a dorm: a curtain for privacy, light, plugs. Inside the dorm there are also a sofa, a desk with a chair, hangers, a mirror, which was all very handy. The toilets and showers were always very clean and they provide shampoo, soap, hair dryer. The common area is small but serves its purpose: sitting space, a fridge, microwave, electric kettle, tea, coffee, mugs, etc. We used this space many times to prepare food from the convenience store and to have breakfast. It was also good to socialize with other guests, and to use our computers outside of the dorm at night so we would not bother other guests. The location is super convenient, you can walk to all the tourist spots, and it is close to public transport, too. It is surrounded by restaurants and there is a 7 eleven just downstairs. The staff is the kindest, we had some very interesting chats with the owner about japanese culture, Hiroshima history, food recommendations, and more! I highly recommend you to stay here in your next trip to Hiroshima, you will love it as much as we did!

We had an amazing time here. The location is great, the place is comfy, clean and the owner is super warm, kind and will help you with anything you need. The mix dorm beds were big, each with a curtain for privacy. Super comfortable. The dorm itself is big, clean and quiet. There is also a female dorm. The bathrooms were clean, comfortable. They provide toiletries, which is always a plus. There is also a common area where you can have coffee or tea. There are convenience stores nearby (literally there’s one downstairs), so this common area is really convenient if you buy a snack. There is a great feel to this place. Many hostels feel like a simple transaction, where you check in and check out. But here you can feel how the owner cares that you have a great time. I completely recommend this place. If I were to return to Hiroshima, I would definitely stay here again. :)

Amazing and helpful staff, always ready for a friendly chat or to give you tips about the best tourist spots in the city. Beds are extremely comfortable and also have a lot of space to put your stuff. Great and clean showers and toilets etc. Just a generally pleasant and surprisingly cheap stay. Highly recommend it!

So here me out... You are in a room with other people but you have your own bed with curtains. This hotel is similar to a pod hotel but much more comfortable and cheaper. If you are just looking for a place to get some rest then it's an absolute 5 out of 5. Just know it's not like you have your own hotel room.
