Geralmente, está sempre presente um guarda/guia que explica em língua inglesa ou alemã como era o modo de vida a bordo. ainda que o acesso ao porto seja livre, para visitar as embarcações é necessário adquirir o bilhete no edifício do Museu Marítimo.

Very interesting section of the museum. On the harbour, there are some ships which are open for the public to enter. We got to see what it would be like living in a ship and in another ship, you get to try tying knots. There are information regarding the different ships. Take note that the steps into some of the ships can be quite steep

A very interesting museum, a lot of story about the different boats, the work at the port in the past. A big contrast with the new building in the background. A bridge between past and future in an evolving city.

Wir sind bei unserem Kurzbesuch in Rotterdam Anfang August nur kurz hier vorbei spaziert. Eine sehr spannende und interessante Ecke! Vor allem der kleine Leuchtturm hat mir gut gefallen!
