Preston Palace is a brilliant concept, especially if you have kids! I'm an adult with no kids and went with two other adults. I wanted to play in the arcade the entire time. What I wish is that there was an option for adults to enjoy the arcade without having to pay for entry. Or with the entrance cost for the arcade, provide a certain amount of tokens in the entry price. We had dinner and it was really good. The website said there was a coffee bar and I pictured a barista making specialty coffees, but that's not the case. 😂 I also wish there were more savory snack options. Still it's a great concept. I understand the nostalgia my Dutch partner has from going here as a child. I'll definitely go back. I'd go back all of the time if there was a more financially viable option for the arcade. Maybe free entry on low traffic days?

Mixed feelings about this place. I was extremely excited to go and was let down a bit. Not sure it is worth the price. The pool was nice and the food at the Ribbleton was amazing! The indoor carnival had only one ride for our daughter as others were out of order or she was too small to ride. The 'game room' felt old and uninviting. Children were running and shouting in the halls outside our room at all hours of the night (seriously untill about 01.00 in the morning). We checked out early for this reason amd overheard another family checking out at the same for the same reason. They were on a different floor, so it was an issue everywhere in the hotel. Service was good and friendly, nothing more or less than what is expected.

Will never forget my visits to this place, beautiful inside tropical swimming pools with saunas, fresh fruit and juices. Whenever I am in the area I will try and come here as its always such a refreshing, calming and therapeutic experience.

We were here with a group of 7 people and let me tell you this hotel takes "all-in FAMILY resort" very seriously. This is definitely not a place for a young group vacation. The place itself is very low budget, there were lots of attractions that were not working at the fair and phone signal was TERRIBLE and so was their wi-fi. There were no bathtubs in the rooms, some of the air conditioning were not working and you had to wait a very long time for the elevators. We had dinner at San Remo our first night the service there was very bad. We had to wait a super long time in between dishes & the meat was terrible i got tired of chewing Drinks were overall very cheap, they did not even have many of the brands mentioned on their website. They also have some type of "no filming rule" in some places. Some of my friends had food poisoning and were throwing up blood the next day i think because of all the insects flying on the food and the fact that some of the food were also undercooked. Its said that buffet is from 7 to 11 but they start taking it down really early so if you were there 10:20 you had less options because lunch starts at 11 so everything is pressed together. We had dinner at Midtown for our second night and the service, the variety, the taste everything was a lot better!! So definitely recommended. The staff was overall rude, like everyone was really tired of working so you better not catch them at the end of their shift or else they will eat you alive.

When we booked the package, we have very high expectation about the facility and activities offered by Preston Palace. Unfortunately our expectation was not met. Many of the facilities are dated. Day activities and evening entertainment were not really engaging. Swimming pool was not as great as advertised. Overall, the value that we got was way too short compare to the price we paid for that short vacation. The only surprisingly positive experience was the meals provided. Everything was tasty, especially at the Midtown restaurant.

Rooms were OK but pretty basic and to be honest you are not there for the rooms. Food selection was good, nice few restaurants to choose from. Always somewhere open to get food and drink. Good for 2 or 3 nights max, this will give kids chance to try everything. All in all an OK trip but not really somewhere I will rush back too.

We visited the wellness section of the Preston Palace which is a nice place to spend half a day having some fun and relaxing a bit. It was decently clean besides the buffet area which wasn't really inviting and clean. The fruits were not the freshest but all in all it's a nice idea to offer something more than just a tea and an apple. Showers with doors would be also very welcome. I came in with high expectations from all the things I have heard, but I was quite disappointed. We came as a group and booked multiple rooms. One had a blocked drain and couldn't shower. Others had dirty bedsheets and hair in the shower. We booked a room for two and the bed was just two one person beds put together. The mattresses, the gap in between the tiny one person blackets made it uncomfortable. I have to say the activities would make the place a lot of fun for children. But it's not all inclusive. The arcade is quite expensive and a waste of money. Since not every game wins you tickets and sometimes you can maybe win 20 tickets on a few games but then you see the bag of candy that costs 800 tickets. There is also one of the restaurants that costs 17.50 per person to make a reservation. We wanted to try bowling but there where 6 lanes, 5 fully booked during our stay and 1 broken. We wanted to try the escape room, but that was also broken. In some of the funfair rides some of the carts were not being used, probably because they were broken. So all in it gave me the feeling the whole place was falling apart slowly and not properly being maintained. The layout was also quite chaotic and requires some walking from one end to the other. Our nephews had a great time though, so it is still fun for kids.
