Stunning holiday location. Everything about this place is amazing. From the moment you wake up and see zebra's and ostriches to eating in the stunning restaurant at the end of the day topped off with open fire and roasted marshmallows all is the best experience you will have. Location of the resort is great. Very easy to get to and use as a base for the local towns. Food and drink on site are good value and plenty of choice. Swimming pool on site is little bit small but never busy so not an issue.

The park itself is great and really nice for families with children. Plenty to do if weather allows. Unfortunately, the accommodation at the Safari resort could be improved. Dirty lodge, which was clear since the moment we opened the door - obviously done in a hurry and very superficially. The house was badly maintained and you could see that everywhere, including dirty mattresses and bedsheets, dust and spider nets that have been there for longer than a few days. I understand the high seasonality pricing is also linked to the location in the park, but I would personally expect better accommodation cleaning and maintenance.

We had a great time at the Safari Park. Everything was perfect, with clean walkways, beautiful exhibits and healthy animals. The ticket prices also not that expensive. Lot of food option during your safari route, you can park the Car, eat relax and continue the safari. Moreover you can take Boat to visit the park and walk down with beautiful path. worth visiting, recommended to visit.

Safari resort Beekse Bergen is an amazing location for a short holiday with children. It is so nice waking up to the wild animals in your backyard. Truly a special experience. The rest of the park is nice too. We did a lot of walks around the safaripark. The pool is nice to bring small children, but is not very special otherwise. Restaurants are ok, shops are not too expensive (though still, if you can bring your own, it will save you some money) All in all, it was a very nice experience and we will definitely be going again in the future.

Amazing experience! It was my first time at the safari park and we'll definitely come back there again. The bungalow was well equipped, we found everything we needed. A good note is that they have a microwave grill that is not suitable to use as an oven, so plan around it. There was also a sauna in the bathroom. We could watch lions through the panoramic window in the dinning room. Unforgettable! The park itself is very beautiful, the animals look gorgeous and we noticed a lot of young ones, I guess it's an indicator that animals feel safe and comfortable there. The park is huge, we walked there for three days and there were always new things to discover. We enjoyed a boat safari, auto safari and walking in the park. The boats are accessible with a stroller, very convenient. And our 4 year old enjoyed the park a lot, there are playgrounds on every corner, a huge inside playground and a swimming pool for kids.

One of the coolest places on the map of the Netherlands. A large park arranged in a safari style. The park can be explored on foot, by car or by taking a boat trip. There are also facilities for disabled people. Walking paths are well designed. There is enough space for a wheelchair or pram with children. The proximity of animals makes us possible to feel like on a real safari. I heartily recommend. It is a paradise for animal and nature lovers.

So the activities and experience were very good and service at all the venues were excellent. Our lodge was extremely unclean see the photos, asked for it to be cleaned but still dirty in places. We kept getting bitten at night even with high strength repellent my daughters got bitten on they face and I killed over 15 mosquitoes which were living in the dark dusty places which had not been cleaned. Contacted and complained was given a small amount of compensation but it was an uncomfortable few nights v disappointing.

Safari Lodge had great views of the seals, the inside was lovely and spacious. It does have a microwave oven. The play area by the swimming pool is great for babies, with the pool fenced off so they cannot get to it. The resort also has various sized floats for children who do not have their diploma yet.

Lovely place, lovely staff. This is a great adventure for all the families. We had a really great time. The safari road is something everyone should see. The walking road is sooo cool. And the trip with the boat is such an awesome experience. It is one great way to spend the day. Can't wait to be back.

Excellent resort for spending a few days with kids. They have small houses for just a couple without kids, and really big ones (like ours) that can accommodate 16 people. The facilities are good, the employees helpful (although very young) and the restaurants have very good food. The only star deduction is because of the parkings lots: with rain, they turn into muddy fields or small lakes (depending on the rain). And as we know, in NL it always rains, more or less

It's an amazing family place! Lots of stuff to do. From enjoying the available animals in their different habitats to the playgrounds! I wish I could give a five star rating but due to the corona virus. The park was forced to impose limitations and not allow access to certain areas and recreational facilities! Not the parks fault at all! I hope that with the next visit, I will be able to give a five star review as they truly deserve!

we were staying in one of the lodges in Safari Resort. it is big enough for 6 people, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, tiny sauna and living room with well equipped kitchen. and small veranda half of our welcome package was missing, the garbage bin was not empty (never experienced this anywhere else) and overall the house could have been cleaner. but then the location in a forest with view of the animals and all the attractions were very nice - feeding lions, car safari, swimming, light safari, ice skating etc.. both us and our kids enjoyed it very much also it is few minutes drive from Tilburg, where you can find many good restaurants

We enjoyed the light safari very much despite the enormous crowd. Our residence was one of the safari bungalows, which are spacious for 6 people, clean and well equiped. A small number of little things can be improved. For example a good map of the vast park in the bungalow.

Nice and pretty big room, with a master bedroom and a smaller room with two beds. I had the impression it was pretty new. Awesome view on the animals, I think it lust be even nicer in summer when you can use the terrace. Breakfast was a very extensive buffet and pretty good too.

Place is very beautiful and enjoyable. There is no room service as such there are amenities provided to do small cooking and coffee as such. Very nice place for a short holiday.

What an amazing place - Looking out on the lions everyday was very special. The lodge we stayed in was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Really lovely that we also received a wedding anniversary gift too - that was a nice touch. Thanks to everyone at Beekse Bergen!

A vacation park with a real difference, you are surrounded by wildlife as the lodging is surrounded by animal enclosures. We visited in summer and a heatwave and it felt like being far away from the Netherlands. It was a real getaway without going too far. Seeing lions and seals being fed was a nice addition to enjoying evenings on the patio seeing giraffes and zebras walk around.

A unique must do with kids. The second time we stayed at the resort at the Serengeti site. Houses are provided with every need, you also have a sauna included and a separate shower at the master bedroom. Only downsize is the bugs that also vacate the houses. Not on a major issue. But a few bugs will wish you welcome. Beekse bergen is a beautiful zoo with tons of space for the animals who live there. Recommended a lot !

Locations is magical, service on the other some employees are very nice while others just work there because they have to. Overall had a good experience, and for sure would recommend this place for people who have kids. From the room, you have a nice view of the animals. Tip is to request a room on the first floor.

The Lake resort has a beautiful location. While you don't get a view of the animals you can hear them from time to time and the animal park and play area are walkable. The snackbar and restaurant have very good food. The team for kids activities clearly enjoy their job and do their best to make the kids and teens happy. My stay was in a Big Five safari tent with a very of the lake. Lots of wild geese but they are harmless just noisy but this is normal being we are on their turf. The tent itself is sturdy and come with a real bathroom/shower. There is a heater but it only covered the space in front of it so I would next time go with the weather is better. We had lots of wind and rain so we were glad we packed extra blankets and our winter coats. Downside is that there was a music festival in the area with guest also sharing the park. From Friday till Saturday they would yell, sing loud and talk loud from 1 am till 3 am. The lack of sleep caused us to leave Sunday evening even through we had booked till Monday 10 am.

It’s a great experience to have your lodge with direct view on the animals. Our stay was already ruined the first night while waking up at 2AM due to my wife being bitten by bedbugs. The only solution the park offered was a different house, something we did not want as after such experience you want to go home and don’t trust that there are no bed bugs in other rooms and it can be transported via your clothes as well… still no compensation has been offered.

An excellent place to stay with kids for a couple of days, we chose to stay in a safari hotel room. However, more options exist, including a safari house or a lake house. A fascinating experience for the kids, as they can observe and watch animals during the day. There is an indoor swimming pool, and outdoor/indoor playground. The thing I most disliked is the restaurant's working hours and the limited menu. For non-locals (tourists), it was not convenient and easy to find decent food, especially for kids. So make sure to have snacks or remember that you may need to visit the nearest city for a meal.

Very nice concept of cruising through the park with your own car, going for a walk or taking the bus or boat to see the animals. Many opportunities to see animals up close. Only downside is that the food in the park is a bit pricey (like almost everywhere nowadays) so it's best to bring your own lunch and drinks.

I love animals and nature, and this place has both! Really nice family activity, reserve your whole day for this place and enjoy it. When we went it was raining so we just did the car safari and some walking around. I was looking forward for the boat ride but it is okay, next time. There are at least 3 restaurants and some stands where you can buy small bites. You can also buy ponchos if it starts raining.. the only thing is, i find it a little overpriced...€€€

Great house (for 14 people), good kitchen and bathrooms, good beds, nice location. Just a pitty that we were one of the only houses not overlooking the animals....

  • 3/5 Otto R. 2 years ago on Google
Very crowded with long queues at restaurants and toilets. The car safari was one big traffic jam and for the boat safari you had to queue up to catch the second boat arriving (~30-45 min), with three young children we decided to skip this. One a bit more quiet day it is probably a better experience, but today there were too many people in the zoo.

Amazing park. a good get away into the safai world in the middle of The Netherlands. we come here every year for the 4th time. the kids love it and we enjoy it. a close up interaction with nature and educational trip for us and the kids to see the animals and get to know more about them.

  • 4/5 VISWANATH M. 2 years ago on Google
Overall a good experience as you can see the animals at proximity, guarded by fence and electric fence. You can see animals depending on the location of your jungle lodge. The lodges have been created to look and feel of African safari resort. Resorts looked neat and fully equipped with all the essentials to cook and eat and all cleaning materials. We experienced a lot of spiders ( big ones) and the roofs were with lot of spider webs. The beds were clean however none of us had good sleep due to spider or mites( presume) as I had keep scratching my back at night. Suggest the maintenance could be lot better and also a insect mesh can be added in the door that is open to patio or terrace.

Very nice zoo park with lots of options for transportation once you are inside. It is quite big, but you can explore by bus, boat, safari with your own car, walk, or book a jeep ride. There is the main car park at the front entrance, and another parking place on the other side of the park, where the tour bus and the boat finish their ride and where you can park your car, if you are doing a safari with your own car. This way you can easily explore the whole park with kids in two parts. We explored the first half on foot closest to the main entrance first, then took a bus safari to the other carpark and explored on foot the other half of the park, then took a boat safari ride back. It breaks the walking up nicely for the little ones. You can borrow a trolley for the kids, but they go quick, so may be good to bring your own stroller or trolley. It's a big place! Our 3 year old absolutely loved all the playgrounds! He liked the animals too, but the playgrounds were definitely a big hit. :) The grown ups loved seeing all the animals, like rhinos , giraffes, cheetahs and elefants! We definitely recommend a visit to this park! We spent a full day here, but did not quite get through the whole place. We will be back!

Amazing, the accommodation is spacious and clean with unbelievable views. Only unloading cars allowed at accommodation so car parks are very full and can be quite a distance away. Book bowling early as it fills up quickly and plan your pool visits carefully as that gets very busy and can be impossible to get changing rooms. Lockers take 50c coin. .the restaurant serves lovely fresh food, excellent service.

  • 5/5 Cor vd K. 2 years ago on Google
No confined spaces which would send out a caged impression. The large array of different safari options is definitely a selling point, but an equally fun experience can be had by simply tackling the park on foot. Personally, the comfort of driving around at your own pace and having all the benefits of your own car is what keeps me coming back. Could potentially do with a more diverse selection of animals as it felt like the largest part are deer (the one species which inherently really isn't too fond of attention)

Very natural environment to see animals outdoor and indoors. We went during spring holidays with grandkids of 11 and 7 years and spend a full day with kids 10 am - 5 pm). During the car safari, on walking tracks and the boat from one end to the other end (+ walking back) we saw a lot of animals incl. the feeding of the monkeys and hyenas. In summertime there is also a bird show. No waiting queues as it was not so busy.

Extremely cool place for kids and adults alike. We were there with 6 adults and 3 kids aged 5y, 2y and 7m and could see the animals from early in the morning until the evening right in front of our porch. There is also enough space everywhere (between the lodges, on the paths, in the restaurants, etc.), which makes life with kids a lot easier. The park is also beautifully made and the animals have huge areas to live in, which allows them to run around at speed, something I haven't seen in zoo's. The restaurants are great, the pools are great, the staff is really nice. There really is not much to complain about...

  • 4/5 Peter B. 1 year ago on Google
Highly recommended. My only issue is with signs for directions to get there and also some improvements could be made to signs inside the resort. Make sure you do the walking safari to see all the animals.

  • 4/5 Monika B. 1 year ago on Google
Well, it's a nice place where you can spend a lot of time in nature watching different kind of animals. I was there around 13.00 o'clock and a lot of animals where sleeping or even couldn't spot it, like the tigers ☹. I recommend to bring some food with you because due to its big area to walk you will get hungry for sure and at the restaurant near the entrance they don't have food, only snacks and drinks and icecreams. Though there are some places where from you can buy fries and some chicken nuggets, wafels, or icecream and refreshments. At the end of the visit nobody lets you know that the resort will be closed soon so we were the last persons inside, you have to watch the time to avoid to get stuck in. After all I would say it was great but could have been better. Enjoy 😉

  • 5/5 Ingrid Elvir O. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely an unforgettable experience for kids and adults. This place offers the options of doing safari in different ways. You can do it by boat (but get ready to queue for an hour), you can do it by foot (carry some food walking shoes) and you can do it by auto. My favorite option was by car since we had a close encounter with cheetah and giraffe. It’s recommended to bring your own snacks and cold drinks since there are plenty of beautiful spots and playgrounds to have picnic and for the kids to play. I’ll be coming here soon for sure!

  • 5/5 Igal P. 1 year ago on Google
Don't miss both the Safari walk (2 - 6 kilometers, depending on your route, interest and pace; the kids were fascinated and walked it at ease) and drive. There is a great variety of animals that you are likely to see. Try to pick a grayish day to increase the probability of animals getting out of their shelters. There is a great playground in the middle of the Safari walk, which the kids (5 - 6.5 years old) loved.

  • 5/5 Fleur S. 1 year ago on Google
Our whole family loved our stay at the Safari Resort, it was such a special experience. The animal areas are carefully planned to optimise your view of the animals, whilst keeping them and guests safe. The lodges were well kitted out for our stay and the facilities buildings at both resorts were fantastic. We stayed for a week and had plenty to do using the attractions pass. The kids are already asking to come back again!

  • 5/5 Remi D. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing place to stay. Watching giraffes, zebras, rhino and ostrich going about their business while sitting on your patio never gets boring! Highly recommended, especially if you have kids.

  • 5/5 George E. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice place to stay near the animals some have direct views over the animals and some are a little more tucked away in a nice forest. You can hear the lions at night and other animals really nice. Lots to do with kids. Bowling, swimming pool, camp fire marshmallows, indoor and outdoor climbing frames and the zoo of course. Had 3 days and didn't get everything done.

Great safari park. Recommended to visit.

  • 5/5 Baris B. 1 year ago on Google
Quite interesting place, but direction symbols within the park are only in Dutch, very hard to understand, and there is no enough sign at all, you see a restaurant sign, you follow it but then the sign is lost on the road, directors should work on this. There is a sauna within the bathroom which is great but there is no hair dryer which I found quite weird. Anyhow a great place to go!

Our Bungalow was simple and basic and well equipped. I ordered the linnon package BUT it didn't come with bath towels which was very disappointing. The activities are geared towards younger kids, under 10. Over all we enjoyed our stay, the peaceful surroundings, great grocery store, laundromat and indoor pool.
