I wish I could give a better review. The place itself is ok. The problem are the bouncers. I am aware this is probably gonna achieve absolutely nothing as the guy I am complaining about is evidently a long-term employee but I want to try nevertheless. Last week I was out in Breda as every week. We were in Nassau and one of my friends was pulled out for being "too drunk". She was not. I went out and got into a minor argument with one of your bouncers. I do not know his name, he is in the middle of your cover photo. I politely asked him how he determined my friend was too drunk to stay inside. He could not answer that. Only answer was a rather arrogant smirk. After that, we got into a slight argument. Voices might have been raised. But there was not a single swear word. That there was absolutely not physical contact goes without saying. Me and my friends are decent students, no party animals who would go crazy and cause trouble. Now I do understand there needs to be certain order when there are young people and alcohol involved. But this is too much. I also understand it is probably difficult to hire decent people for this kind of job but everything has its limits. Now I am beginning to believe there may be racism involved. I am from Prague and as I read in some of the previous reviews from people who had the same people, they were also foreign. I understand this is a serious accusation but I do not understand what other reason this person could have. Now I do hope that this review will be addressed in some way. Even though I doubt anybody will bother. Anyway, I will do my very best to spread the word about this absolutely unacceptable behaviour. I am aware it will probably not hurt your business but I will do my best regardless. It is not right that a person whos' only accomplishment is having big muscles should use his dubious power over other people in this way. It is wrong and it is extremely frustrating. So bad, such an unfair security man, not reasonable at all, just bad experience.

This bar has a cosy environment on less-busy nights, but once it fills up, the place offers a great party atmosphere, especially towards students and adults around the ages of 20-25. The DJs who work here are quite good at feeling the crowd and playing different styles based on what people seem to enjoy. The staff are quite friendly to both locals and foreigners and don't mind a quick chat during their downtime in slower nights. The prices are average, similar to other establishments in the city, and the interior is modest, but cosy and interesting, the coin-covered bar counter and church-styled DJ booth making the biggest impressions. As a foreign student living in the Netherlands, Cafe Nassau was a great place for me to come party with friends regularly.

The guard refuse us to enter. It was obviously its racism as the people before us and after us in the line enter normally.

Had a great time. Met some strangers and drank with them all night along with a friend of mine. The prices are fine. The quality and variety of drinks is also good. Can't complain about anything.

Usually when you walk into this bar you probably had quite some drinks. This means things don't bother anymore as it should when sober. Atmosphere is usually great, love Sunday nights with lots of hospitality staff having their night out. Also the bartenders are friendly and helpful
