Prominent Sports related chain store across the globe. This store is situated right in the heart of city. It has wide variety of choices and prices are very reasonable. This is a must to visit shop, if you are looking for value to money with reasonable quality. They have products for almost all sports. You may expect huge rush though.

I bought the x500 here and the staff were very helpful. Slightly unhappy with several items regularly being out of stock in the store but the lady I spoke with clearly explained the returning options and quickly ordered the kayak online for me, whick arrived in just 2 days. Generally very happy with the price- quality ratio of itiwit products. The carbon paddle is also great but the only problem is that after being in water for a while, the paddle feathers (rotates) as the clip holding the two parts isn't strong enough so I need to release it and readjust every now and then. All in all, quite happy with my experience.

Bought one of the top range bikes from them in the summer because I see that they have repair centre on-site. I love the bike at the start, but after a week, I can't change to the highest gear. As the next available slot for a service is more than a month away and I rarely use those top gears, so I didn’t bother to repair it. The worse is that the derailleur has broken up after three-month's usage. Taken the bike to the shop at The Hague. For two small scratches on the derailleur, they said that it’s likely that the bike has been dropped and hence, it’s not under warranty. I ended up spending more than a hundred euros for the part and repair myself. Those scratches would not break the derailleur! If Small-Claim Court, like the one in the UK, is available in The Netherlands, I will surely use it. Their reason for taking so long to book an appointment is because they are busy. Well, if they are busy, hire more staffs! Spent nearly 2k euros with them in the first two months after relocated to The Netherlands, very disappointed with them. I swear: I will not to spend a penny more on them.

I used to like this store and a product but yesterday I had a very unpleasant experience and I will not enter this store in my life again. I ordered a bicycle and yesterday evening I went to pick it up. Everything was sorted, I took it and wanted to exit the store. While I was already on the stairs, a security lady was extremely rude, started running after me like I am stole it, I dropped the bike on the stairs, scratched my leg, she just ruined my day. Set up the process that customers should follow when they come to pick up the things, inform me what steps I should follow and who to inform, don't treat me like a shoplifter because of lack of communication on the reception desk.

I needed a lock for my new bike. The rating system for locking devices at Decathlon is awesome. I bought an 8/10 lock, do I feel very secure now. They had many other choices (from 2/10 to 8/10) and fastening products. To pay, you simply drop your items in the bucket. The system calculates the total and then you pay. I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes.

Hi, I had an issue with the tennis secrion where none of the rackets is properly placed with its price and when I went to the check out the price of the racket I had picked was 100 euros more. Things should be put in their correct place. This is particular to the tennis eection but also applicable to more sections.

Really nice selection of products at reasonable prices. A decent selection of their own line of products which offers great entry-level options for anyone trying to start a new sport. Spacious interior, friendly and helpful staff. Pricing can be a bit confusing in some places, and it's a pity they haven't been able to keep their weight lifting section well stocked during the pandemic.

Weak costumer service, went to buy a bike phone holder and asked a lady worker about how to use it, she looked at me like i have to know already and then she hold her phone front of my face to show how through some drawings on her phone!! Hope to improve!!

Bought shoes with a price tag 54.99 and at the kassa I paid 74.99, I went back in the shop the next day but they said there is nothing that can be done🤷the lady said "next time you should check the prices right after you buy something, now it's too late, we cannot check what happened" And as I read other reviews it's not the first time such thing happened, so sad, scamming people In such a dumb way...

Decathlon is a really good chain, we shop there often. But this store was very hot when we were there, even though it's in a basement and outside was only 22C. It looks like ventilation is disappointing, then, which would be bad. This store is smaller than other out of town Decathlons, which is logical. The shopping area around this store is really nice.

It's ok, staff at the service desk was very friendly. It seems like the prices are increasing more than the inflation, even though the quality of the product doesn't necessarily improve.

Decathlon earns a solid five stars in my book for being an unparalleled destination for sports enthusiasts. The brand's commitment to delivering durable, affordable, and long-lasting products is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you step into a Decathlon store, you are greeted with an extensive array of sporting goods that cater to virtually every sport imaginable. One of the standout features of Decathlon is the remarkable durability of its products. Whether it's a pair of running shoes, a tennis racket, or camping gear, you can trust that your investment will withstand the test of time. This durability not only speaks to the quality of materials used but also reflects Decathlon's dedication to providing customers with gear that goes the extra mile. Affordability is another key strength of Decathlon. The brand has managed to strike a perfect balance between offering high-quality sports equipment and keeping prices accessible. This affordability ensures that individuals from all walks of life can pursue their passion for sports without breaking the bank. What truly sets Decathlon apart is its exhaustive product range. Whatever sport you have in mind, Decathlon has you covered. From essentials like running shoes and activewear to specialized equipment for niche sports, the variety is staggering. It's a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to engage in sports and outdoor activities, offering convenience and accessibility under one roof. Despite the popularity of Decathlon, its stores are often bustling with customers, a testament to the brand's widespread appeal. The energetic atmosphere not only reflects its popularity but also adds to the overall excitement of shopping for sports gear. The staff, amidst the bustling activity, stand out for their exceptional helpfulness. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a novice, the staff's knowledge and willingness to assist ensure a positive shopping experience. As the seasons change, Decathlon's winter collection is a true highlight. The variety of jackets, gloves, innerwear, and more is seemingly endless. The brand anticipates and caters to every need, ensuring that customers are well-equipped to embrace outdoor activities in colder climates. In conclusion, Decathlon's five-star rating is well-deserved. The brand seamlessly combines durability, affordability, and an extensive product range, making it a go-to destination for sports enthusiasts. The popularity reflected in crowded stores only reinforces the trust and preference that customers place in Decathlon. With a nod to their helpful staff and an impressive winter collection, Decathlon continues to stand as a beacon for those passionate about sports and outdoor adventures.

I'm alone with my Chihuahua in a bag and need urgent stuff for today in a foreign country. No mercy, no dogs allowed but in Germany they are. Thanks for help. Never again decathlon!

Wasted 2.5hours of my life (95% of it waiting for the single store employee to become available) on picking and trying a bike to be told it was not in stock and wouldn't be in stock and I should instead buy the ugly, more expensive one which I was not allowed to try. Just go to a smaller specialized bike shop.

I bought a bike there on August 11 that came with a defective part. I took the bike back and they replaced the part with an equally defective part. They replaced it again, only to have the rear tire rub against the frame of the bike. I no longer want to deal with decathlon. Online I was directed to return the bike at the store. I show up to the store at 16:40 and am told that no one at the store and that I have to come back when someone is available at the workshop. All that I am told is "I'm sorry." After 6 weeks I have never had a working bicycle and have wasted a lot of time on a defective bike. Avoid buying a bicycle here.

Decathlon is terrific but every time I come to the store the thing I need is out of stock. Rugby ball, punch bag, weights bar. Not unusual stuff but I always end up ordering online making me wonder why I bother visiting..

I wanted warmers for the winter that fit perfectly and I found them in less than 5 minutes. Moreover the employees were super helpful and guided me through the self checkout screen as it was in Dutch.

I would like to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received regarding an online order with click and collect. Upon collecting the bicycle from the Den Haag store, I immediately noticed that the Axa ring lock was missing and the mudguard did not fit properly, causing it to constantly hit the rear wheel. These items were included in my online order as suggested items that would fit the bicycle. The customer service representative who assisted me on-site seemed untrained and did not provide any relevant details about the delivery process. When I brought the issues to their attention, they called in another colleague who informed me that the Axa ring lock was not compatible with the bicycle and that there was nothing they could do about the ill-fitting mudguard. To make matters worse, this colleague made derogatory comments about the need for mudguards on a bicycle of this type. Upon requesting to speak with a supervisor, I was met with dismissive attitudes and unhelpful responses. Rather than offering a solution, I was made to feel responsible for the issues with the bicycle. As a result, I made the decision to reject the bicycle and requested a full refund. I am disappointed with the poor level of customer service I received from the Decathlon store staff, and I urge the company to improve its training and customer service standards.

    1. Terrible service, do not own up to their mistakes. 2. They have an assortment of bikes and when you are super excited about one and ask to order, it's out of assortment. Misleading. 3. Finally ordered a bike at the store which took 16 days to arrive but got to know that the bike was already 10 days at the store. Horrible process. Complaining did not help.

Fantastic store with reasonable prices, extended opening hours and wide variety of items. If they don't have items on stock, they usually order it for you with free shipping.

As long as you know what you're looking for, you can find it here, if it's sport related. Proteins powder for shakes, support for elbow, knee and a bunch of after-care support.

Prices they claim to have aren't worth the 2+ week waiting time for a products advertised to be available the next day to be picked up from store. They do not know where the product is, and are openly refusing to follow up on it, but will demand money on checkout? Logic.

Went to buy a golf bag. Two prices tags indicated for each reference with a 20 Euros difference... Impossible to know which was the correct one. When asked for support and advise, was told that mistakes happened... Very limited expertise on site, clear lack of engagement of the staff and customer focus is gone.... This place needs a serious management defib, my advise: Go there if you only need to buy a price..

Excellent store. Has everything you are looking for and if they don’t, the helpful staff assist you with an online order (usually with no delivery fee when buying with them). Staff speaks several languages, so it is handy in such a turísticas point - we have been living in the Netherlands for a few months only, so English, Spanish and Portuguese speaker are always a must! :)

Love the place for all sports needs, so much to explore here, hours can be spent here looking out for what this store offers for sport lovers. All sorts of stuff available from head to toe.

I think it's one stop shop for sports related equipments. We have purchased bicycle and related items for me and my son from here. My son's bike is working fine. My bicycle is 2 months and today I gave it for first free service. Overall a good experience

Good goods and fair prices. But the people working there are friendly but often know very little or nothing about the products them selves or the specific sports their equipment is meant to be used for. Also poor service at their service desk where one often needs to wait very long before people who know anything can help you.

Nice and helpful staff. I usually order on-line and pickup in store, but sometimes also grab a thing or two directly from the store.

Rating system and display is great for jackets and raincoats, but stocks were quite empty. No XL sizes available in any of the price categories for raincoats. Of course I understand this if there has been high demand, but it still does not fix the poor experience.

Quality is not what you may wait for. What make it even worse, the warranty process and the after sale service is not something you can count on. I am not happy about the answers I got from the shop even from the manager.

Not a high end kind of store, but for the price they sell fine stuff. Huge underground store, with a very wide range of sports products. Perfect place if you just need sports stuff but don't really care what brand it is.

  • 2/5 Funky D. 2 years ago on Google
Nice a spacious store. But almost zero interaction with employees. As a customer you have to search for staff. Fitting rooms are dirty, really need to clean more. Stock is a mess. Whoever is the manager, you need to step up.
