This was the most disappointing vacation ever!!!!! This hotel is a nightmare. My husband and daughter and myself stayed for a week and was so ready to come home after a day. We were given our room in the older part of the resort which is something straight out of a horror movie. The room was so outdated and had the worst smell ever. Their was mold growing on the ceiling and holes everywhere which leaked some sort of substance. The door had about a 2 inch gap all around the frame that let in light and so much noise. The food was so disgusting that we ate french fries for lunch and dinner for 7 days just not to stave. The staff was so unprofessional and they had no interest in helping us out or even cared to serve us. They mopped the floors everyday with old dirty water from a fountain that left the most unsettling smell ever. When we were leaving and about to get on the bus to the airport we were stopped by a hotel employee who demanded our 3 beach towels...we told him we had given it to the pool guy and were immediately yelled at and told that we could not get on that bus until the 3 towels were accounted for....my husband quickly ran back to the pool area to find the towels, in the meantime the staff man continued to scream and point his hand in my face telling me I had to pay extra for the towels if not found. The whole bus was delayed leaving due to the delay of finding beach towels. All in all this was the most disappointing vacation ever. And so not sure on how this redort can take money from families and stay open with such poor conditions. Be aware people. DO NOT STAY HERE

Beach was amazing, always clean and activities were always up and running which was awesome. I’m not sure if this hotel just doesn’t have beach service, but their was no one offering drinks, no one to bring chairs out and no food option close the beach. Staff was amazing and always friendly, but food was just terrible. I get Cuba is not known for amazing food, but the food was just not edible. I came during the slow season so none of the a la cartes we’re open which resulted in only the buffet being open which like I said was not good. They had hardly any snacking options, but their diversity in drinks were amazing. The second pool was kept nice and clean with entertainment always making an appearance daily which was fun. I only wished nightly entertainment went on longer and was more engaging. Being aware of the events happening daily would have been nice to know as well, they have an activity board but no location as to where it will be taking place. Seemed very unorganized, but the weather and beach deserves a 3 stars itself.

Absolutely adored this Resort. Staff was fantastic! Extremely clean throughout the resort, rooms, pools, beach, public bathrooms. Love that there was a separate pool mainly for adults, which was awesome. The resort is on the most beautiful beach I’ve seen. Food was actually very good!! No complaints, other than the wifi wasn’t the greatest but no biggie! Would love to go again. <br/>Definitely recommend going on the catamaran excursion that included and swimming with the dolphins!!

Great beach. Nice service. The food was not that good. Too few options to choose from and the buffet layout was not smooth. Overall, good night sleep... Although I found these tiny little crabs on my sheets the second night so I couldnt sleep well after that. Jacuzzi next to the pool was functional for the second day only. Bartender did knew the preparation of some of my drink orders even when he had all the ingredients at sight. Good night entertairnment. Nice place for family vacations. If go again, will give it a try in high season and see if different experience.

Had a great trip back to Fiesta Americana Costa Verde March 9 to the 23rd. As usual, the staff was very attentive to our needs, and our room was as it was for the last 10 years! Beach is in fantastic shape! Had best experience sailing with Roger . Very knowledgeable and skilled at the tiller!! BUT! New life jackets should be supplied as a big guy like me had a hard time finding one with fasteners that worked! Had a few days with warm, not hot water in the shower. Supplier issues this time, no chicken in the buffet. But, my glass was always full and the Last week was a bit stressful because of the virus. Will return to see everyone in the future!!

For first time in Cuba with my boyfriend and a friend this was an amazing resort. Just got back from 7 days and the staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Food wasn’t bad considering the rep Cuba has for that. Drinks were good. Loved the slushie drinks 😍 I highly recommend this to any one looking for a good place by the beach with good friendly service.

Really good food, different a la carta options, nice pools, good service and an amazing beach where you can snorkel for hours and see a huge variety of marine life. Also they have kayaks, paddle boats, catamarans, windsurfing, snorkeling equipment. We stayed there for a week and planning to go back soon. We had a blast.

Hi, just wanting to thank all the staff for making our last week of vacation less stressful. My husband and I were among the last few to leave the resort before shut down on travel. As always with our many visits to this resort the friendly and caring staff performed above and beyond. So many are as close to me as family. No visit would be complete without the sailors at the beach. A special shout out to a very skilled sailor Roger. Thank you for this great visit and wonderful memories. Please take care of each other. Fantastic resort with many welcoming staff members, clean and newly renovated rooms and plenty of fun and activities to do. If you love nature, this slightly more remote hotel is perfect for you. There's crabs, lizards and snakes that you can see in the bushes along the pathways. The beaches are stunning and you can go snorkeling right off of the coast. There's so much reef rock that it attracts beautiful fish. The food is average for Cuban standards but because the hotel is not extremely busy or is easy to get what you want. I highly recommend this hotel and experience for people wanting to see Holguin.

Accommodations are old and no water pressure for the shower. Hallways and elevators are dirty. The food is edible, we won’t die. The entire facility is tired and in need of paint and repairs. The main stage is under repairs, no platform other than joists. Entertainment is lacking. We walked to the beach, it is not spectacular. I think this facility is on its last legs and denying its fate. Staff has been friendly though. The ride from the airport was fun. It’s nice to see horses and old cars everywhere. I do not recommend this “resort”.

I just stayed here, the rooms were clean and comfy. My door had troubles opening, the buffet wasn’t good what’s so ever. The wifi was slow, it only worked In the lobby. The restaurants were excellent. The staff was very nice, special thanks to Jerry from the pool bar. Gorge from the snack bar and Mabel from the restaurant. The ocean was absolutely beautiful!

Was there Jan 24-Feb1. Our 2nd year in a row going and it's still a solid value for the price we paid! Rooms aren't fancy but clean and fairly comfortable. Food choices were sometimes limited but what was available was tasty. Beach is clean and water is calm. Jerry and Miguel at the Mojito Bar at the VIP pool were amazing just like last year. Jony in the gym was fantastic again and we had 1 small issue that Jorge the Customer Service Manager promptly resolved. Only negative thing was the food and service at the Seafood restaurant by the beach was consistently bad ...Overall very happy with our holiday!
