Its the main central park in Holguin where locals gather to socialize, listen to Cuban "mariachis" and use Wi-Fi (available after purchasing data card from vendor in the plaza around the park). Great place for people - watching.

Nice open air park. Very large and clean. Bench seating all around. Appears to be a meeting place and a spot where people get together to hangout. Well lit and in a busy city centre.

Clean, you can get your car clean while shopping.

There are benches around the square. A small place for a little relaxation and peace. You also meet a lot of locals here, as the place is right next to an Etecsa and there is WiFi here...

Pretty park in the central part of Holguin. Lots of places to people watch and grab a bite to eat or drink. You can even pick up an internet card nearby to get access to the national Wi-Fi portal.

Good and quiet, it's just that there are a lot Mariachis playing Mexican music and ask for money even if you don't ask for it. Don't like Mexicans or Mexican music at all!

The park is good, but the supply is currently very poor. For example, Kaffeteria without coffee is only available in Cuba. But a bottle of rum is cheaper than Coke?? Good for drinkers, but what do children drink??? Water from the pond?

If you want true Cuba come to the plaza with open eyes, heart, ears and a smile. WiFi centre but so, so much more. The heart of Holguin ❤❤❤❤❤

One of the parks that I like the most in Holguin

Own park of the city of Holguin. Quiet place and several restaurants/shops nearby.

If you're into people watching this is the spot. A fascinating museum on the north of the square is well worth a visit as well.

Calixto García Park, especial place of the city of Holguín, in the corridors that surround it you can find cultural institutions, shops, bars, cafes and especially many people who are residents in the city and foreigners who go through it constantly in their coming and going through the center of the city.
