Chill sit down place with delicious food and great service. Doesn’t cost much more than the drive-through, and it is a million times better. I had a pickle burger with a veggie patty, super tasty. One kid got a cheeseburger and devoured it, the other got chicken tenders and said they were solid, hubby got a Philly cheesesteak and said it was good as well. We had corn nuggets for an appetizer and those were very tasty and blindingly hot in temperature. Pro tip: if you can parallel park, do so just to the west of it on 8th Street.

Cool place to eat. Colorful and festive. Katie was a fantastic server. She deserves great tips!!!!! Got the double dipped chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese. Katie was right. Not too spicy bug awesome flavor. I couldn't eat it all! 😂

I'd give more than 5 stars if possible. If you're a sports guy and don't go for that hipster/Cafe scene this would be your bar in Lawrence. Good wings, fries, burgers, everything!

This is a fun easy going restaurant serving American cuisine; burgers, wings, fries, etc. Prices are average. We were greeted upon entering. Our waitress was very friendly & personable. The food was excellent and you get a lot for your money. I ordered a salad with the buffalo chicken and the left overs made for a good lunch the next day. I want to say this is a definite dining spot when in Lawrence, but I will be honest...there are a ton of dining options on Massachusetts Street! However, if you have a picky eater in the group (chicken strips as a meal staple??) definitely eat here. If you deem this review helpful, please give it a like. Thank you.

Jefferson's has something for everyone. We came here during lunch time and sat right away. The fried pickles with ranch were a perfect starter. I had the Buffalo Chicken Mac. The portion size was more than enough for lunch. I was happy I had food left to take home to eat for dinner. The staff was very nice and attentive. I need to get better at asking the server for their name, but we are there Wednesday, May 31st and sat in a booth by the doors on the left-hand side as you walk in.

Good food but horrible service. The servers sit at the back table talking and got can't get their attention for a refill or anything. Had to wait several minutes for a menu. 3 tables so it's not like they are busy.

We sat outside on a Thursday. Our server was great and kept checking in on us. The cheese bite and mushroom apps were really good. The wings weren't spicy enough for me. If you like it hot, go towards the top. We will be back again!

Jefferson's has a casual and laid-back atmosphere. Great for grabbing a quick bite to eat with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive. The Jefferson burger was great. Tasty and juicy!

Food wasn't bad, just portion size for price was small, got their hamburger with fries and was still hungry. Was a cool place with dollar bills on the wall.

So hungry. Looking for a place to eat Jefferson's advertisers online that they close at 12:00. We entered the building at 10:00 p.m. hungry as to order food. The waitress said sorry. We stopped serving food at 11:00 and we've no food left. We wasn't expecting it to be busy on a Friday night. Hope the food taste better than the customer service

Pretty good service. Inexpensive drinks. Small but fun outdoor seating area which is what I prefer in town.

We were in town to watch college lacrosse games. We had lunch here on Sunday. The atmosphere was great and checking out the dollar bills on the walls was pretty cool. The food was good, but the quesadilla was so spicy I couldn't eat it. My husband switched with me and I ate his buffalo chicken sandwich. Everything was good though.

my gals loooove this place and who am I kidding, so do i. friendly staff, prompt seating, fantastic sports bar atmosphere in a Big 12 college town on the main street. if it's busy, the food is going to take a while to get to your table. THIS IS OK. i promise it's worth it. burgers, wings, fish & chips are the stars here.

Don’t buy draft beer. It WILL taste flat and off. Went here two separate times with about a month in between and ordered the same beer. Tasted just as horrid. I think they have some pressurization or cleanliness issues with the system. Good to avoid this place

My family of 4 had a great time! Staff was super friendly, food was hot and quick, and the atmosphere was great until “Bad Santa” walked in telling everyone to get the F out of his way. This ole boy walked in with a bench seat out of some POS car. While it was completely wrapped in duck tap. Walked over to the bar and sat on two stools. Then harassed/yelled at the awesome staff. The whole time he left all of his junk in an old baby stroller up on the front patio. Made my family and I super uncomfortable. 5/5 stars, but Santa needs to kick rocks…

Just went here because we hadn't been in a while. Got told to take a seat, then the waitresses seemed to do their very best to ignore us for a solid 45 minutes or more without so much as a drink or even menu before we decided to leave. Staff seemed more interested in chatting up coworkers and friends that came in rather than worrying about helping us out.

Hands down has the best food! Their Buffalo shrimp tacos, i substitute for the asian sauce, mentioned by the waitress! Omg... it was taste! My kids had the bone-in and traditional wings and the burger! If you get a double be prepared to take home, they are large but delicious, as well! We will be back! Fried pickles were thin sliced and lightly breaded with a nice crunch! 5 OUT OF 5

Generally a good bar food joint. I enjoy their wings. Had an issue with my order but it was handled well. A bit long of a wait on busy days (understandable) would recommend if you want to sit down and watch a game.

We stopped in to grab a bite to eat for dinner at Jefferson's during Buskerfest. We do have no complaints about the food, it's pretty standard bar fair and it's certainly tasty. I'm only knocking a point off because there were a handful of customers who received their meals after us, but I totally understand - we did have a table of six, including some of us who had chicken which can take some time. They did seem to have plenty of help there and the service was good as well. I'm sure we'll be back, we just don't go out all that often.

Decided to grab a bite to eat Jeffersons was packed there was no table when we walked in. The table appeared service was fast the order consisted of two orders of chicken wings in one order of tenders food was great service was great shout out to the server can’t wait to go back. We also ordered fried jalapeños as appetizers with fried pickles and had alcohol beverages I didn’t spend that much money.

Jefferson's felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Ordered fried mushrooms and wings. It was good but I wouldn't make it a priority to go here again next time I'm in town. I asked for my wings to be cooked a little longer and they weren't. They were cooked through, and tasted good, I just prefer them well done.

First time there and the vibe was chill the people were friendly great staff and Management. Julian was welcoming when we came in and thanked us when we left. I liked it wasnt too loud, glad we got there when we did because it got crowded after the game but I see why so many people come there. Oh and the food was delicious...the wings with the jerk seasoning was sooo good. I'd come again for sure!

The server took a long time to greet us, although she was very nice. The food took a while to come out, but that didn’t bother me too much since it was a busy night. The food was not good at all. I tried to eat it, but it was practically inedible. The waitress kindly had it remade and it was much better, but still nothing special. I will return sometime to give it another try.

Waiters are friendly and prices are reasonable. But unfortunately, food is inconsistent and made without passion. We came on a Monday. Yes probably was not the best day but, Jefferson is an established business and this is not an excuse. We got soggy fried oysters, extra salty tortilla chips and Tabasco filled shrimp tacos. And I don't like Tabasco. And I also didn't ask for Tabasco sauce. Mixed with inedible chips, I couldn't really eat anything. And after i did, I spent some time in the bathroom after. Sorry Jefferson, you may have good service and a unique college experience. But your food does not have to resemble the college caféteria. We will not be returning as regular customers.

My son and I got some food to go before a KU game. It was super busy but service was timely, food was hot and delicious, a wonderful experience! Will definitely come here again!

I don’t know if they’re best Buffalo wings I’ve ever had but they’re pretty damn close. I’m normally disappointed when I see world famous anything when it comes to food. This time i was pleasantly surprised. Not only were the wings delicious the portion sizes were very generous.
