Nice quiet place for short stay in Honda,Tolima. With swimming pool and neat cabins.

Wonderful little charming hotel in Honda, Tolima. We took a roadtrip from Cali to Bucaramanga, and stayed for one night in the Núna room. I actually found the pictures didn't do the room justice: it was much nicer in person! One thing to keep in mind is that some rooms have a hot shower, and others don't. So make sure, if you book, to pick the right one. Overall a wonderful experience. A place to relax and recharge.

Could be a cute place! We booked as a family a big room. It was rather small like a city hotel room. The outside shower is nice, heated with solar on the roof (I like that!!). The space with lots of green, trees and flowers is nice. But now here is why this place gets a one star from my part: - in Room 15 my wife wanted to switch on the light in the bathroom and got a huge electric shock. I dont wanna imagine what would have happened if my 3yrs old daughter would have touched it. The electrician came and said its even dangerous for adults. We had to change to room obviously. - around the pool are not enough sun chairs, even it was not fully booked there was only space on the uncofortable concrete seating corner. - the noise from the road is very disturbing We are shocked about the fact that after the electric shock my wife got the owner listened to it but didnt dare to say sorry nor trying to offer compensation. This is just in no way an acceptable behaviour. This is scandalous in my opinion! We had no option to go elswhere that same night but left immediately the next morning.

A beautiful rural hotel just outside of Honda Tolima with all the features you would expect from an international hotel, that is also pet friendly and ecologically responsible The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, private and very comfortable also has parking and plenty of room to roam, one of the highlights of the property is the number of local birds you can see, The kitchen also serves great food at a reasonable price and the drinks are rich and cold Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, natural escape as this is not one of those party style hotels

I was at waka rural hotel for a wonderful experience being greeted by Mrs Amanda and her staff had me set up on a beautiful suite semi modern semi rustic. With a very comfortable bed covered with mosquito net to protect my night sleep. The food there was delicious along with highly recommended fresh caught fish restaurants besides the Magdalena river. Would I go back? Within a heartbeat yes.

Not very ‘responsive ‘ owner. I got electric shock all over my body by switching on the light (luckily it was not my 2 yo daughter) and the owner didn’t even care to go out from her office and say ‘sorry’, not a word. We had to insisted that that checked on the lights switch in the new room.

It’s a very nice area, very close to Honda! Deep in the nature you can find calmness. It has a nice pool. The best part? Two very friendly and extremely playful puppies, Yuca and Coco. They have a large plantation in the back. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfy for this setting in the nature. The only downside is they don’t have hot water. The mosquitos are vicious and it’s very hard to take a refuge from them, but it’s not the hotel’s fault. The breakfast is from the farm. Everything is good! Did I mention how friendly the doggies are?

I used to like this place, but I had a horrible incident that ruined it for me. I came here and liked it because it was peaceful and pet friendly, so I recommended my parents to go because I thought they would get the same experience. My parents are world travelers and came to visit because Honda is a beautiful little town, and they got robbed here. They got 400 USD stolen from their hotel room. The owners said it was their word against my parent's word. They also implied it was my parent's fault and they had probably misplaced the money. It was very irresponsible the way they handled the situation and did nothing about it. I was embarrassed that I recommended it to my parents, and I will not recommend it to anyone else. It is unfortunate what happened, but what was worst was the response on the hotel's part. They tried to call me to make excuses, again saying it was their word against my parents and not even offering an apology. I am disappointed and think this place is not worth it, knowing that I can not feel relaxed or trust the people.
