Under Covid, no jazz entertainment on week days, but still walk in for happy hour. Love that Kingsman style secret entrance, enter, still crowded after 6! Happy hour drink prices are great, ordered bourbon and scotch accompany great Dim Sum, small bites, perfect! Menu is Chinese food, surprisingly good, always enjoyable, return of Live music will complete the atmosphere 🥃🥃 7/March 14:30 arrive hh for 2, social restrain under pandemic, but look at the bright side, we have the whole place for ourselves and full day happy hour🥂🥂

Arguably one of the most Instagrammable restobars in the city, Foxglove boasts an interior design harkening back to the 1950s, with atmospheric lighting, mid-century decor, and a regular cycle of local and international jazz bands performing weekly. The venue is most known for their signature cocktails and dimsum menu, all inspired by the establishment’s fictional founder: English gentleman and adventurer Frank Minza 🤵🏻‍♂️ We enjoyed delightful bites such as their Sichuan xiao long bao, and Sichuan boiled fish, they were my favorites. We also sipped away on their carefully crafted pistachio infused Queen of Melody, loved every sip of it 🍸 The live music sparked up the whole atmosphere as well 🎶

Booked this for Valentine’s Day, and we were extremely surprised when the dinner menu was a $688 beef/lamb steak dinner set. The food quality was absolutely horrific, basically on par with $68 Cha chaan teng dinner, with Garden brioche and airline style butter packets. Staff did not provide any advance notice regarding the arrangement, and only attempted a single phone call on Valentine’s Day at 2:30pm. If you want to seriously disappoint your SO, or you are seeking a divorce but didn’t know how to get started, feel free to give this abhorrent place a shot. To the management team, I must say you should seriously consider having a little more respect for your customers. How on earth can you mess up so badly?

Back at one of my favourite (and the OG) speakeasy bars and it was so much fun! LOVE the ambiance and their spicy xiaolongbao and cocktails were all so good!

Foxglove is one of my favorite speakeasy bars as it is a complete package in its idea, architecture/interior design, and vibe. I used to bring friends there when they visited Hongkong. I haven't been there for a long time and found the cocktail seems to improve a lot since the last time I visited a few years ago. I like the live band performing as it makes the space even more relaxing and vibrant simultaneously. However, I had some concern and discomfort when a group of people started to stand next to our table as this is not a standing bar. I think we are worried if their drink will spill on us. The waiter seemed to notice it and offered to move us to another table. We were about to leave already and didn't change tables.

This place is really a hidden gem! A speakeasy vibe with high performance quality live music bands combining with delicious vegan dim sum! Yes they cater for vegans too!! not to mention the delicious cocktails there! the team is so lovely, from the front desk to bartenders to servers to managers! We always have a great time there! Love it! It’s now my favourite weekend go-to to hang with my friends!

Greatest jazz bar with such amazing cocktails and great selection of whisky. Deinitely my go to bar for Friday nights away from the rowdy LKF crowd. They've also got an amazing business lunch and European inspired dinners every day. Indulgent but worth every dollar!

The most unique and flavourful drinks, the cool layout and the LIVE MUSIC. They always have a band playing in the evenings. Cool Jazz, Funky Pop or even old school Rock. OnPoint is my favourite 😉 band on Friday nights. The lunch and dinner menu is really good too. Delicately presented and really well priced. It’s a good spot for a date or group of friends.

Most of you should be familiar with Foxglove, the 🍷bar/ restaurant behind an umbrella shop. I went on a Monday with my PT (yes, I’m the bad influence) and I was surprised it’s basically JAM PACKED. Well done guys! Always quite impressed by their dimsum quality! Who have thought they serve legit 🥢 dimsum at a bar (and with live music from time to time!!). My fav is always gonna be Mala XLB (love the tanginess of the soup). I also highly recommend the turnip deep fried puff (eat it while its still hot). Also tried a new dish this time – cumin spiced 🐑lamb served with crystal wraps. You can smell the aroma the moment it was served. A very aromatic dish! On a spicier note, the golden hotpot (which is mandarin fish in Sichuan hot broth) portion is GENEROUS. It’s a flat noodle paradise and fish was tender too. I should have come on a Wednesday because they have this ⭐️ star search thing every wed night where local hidden talents from different walks of life can SHINE on the stage. Oh almost forgot to mention they have a good selection of cocktails as well - tried the Purple Rain (inspired by the Prince’s song obv)! HKD 600-800 pp!

Foxglove is one of the most instagrammable restobars in HK which is most known for their signature cocktails and dimsum menu. Their interior design features atmospheric lighting and mid-century decor. Each signature menu is inspired by the love affair of English aristocrat Frank Minza and a mystical Eurasian burlesque dancer named Mrs Pound during their epicurean adventures in the streets of Shanghai. Helmed by bar manager Saheb Ambekar, the new signature cocktail menu is inspired by Frank’s talented musician friends of their era, reminiscing wholesome moments and fond friendships.

A Tale of Sichuan Romance , Ma la xiao long bao with delicate skin with the savory meat filling and spicy 麻辣 soup holding with the pleated pouch and #水煮魚片 , good to pairing with Frank’s Signature Cocktails .

The cocktails are great The staff are professional, and VERY friendly The setting, the entrance, the vibe, the music are all world class. But what sets this place apart from other “similar” venues are not the quirky secret doors and gimmicks, it’s the food ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE experience! To finish off an amazing dinner was a desert that was WAY beyond expectations! DON’T MISS OUT!!!

Nice contemporary decor, 2.5stars for food and 3.5stars for service. The management has a good concept and hope their menu will improve for set lunch. $$$

Exquisite, elegant and the quality is outstanding. Really nice dim sum. Had the whole restaurant during the CoVID period at lunch time.

Perfect place for a date night. The bar has a great ambiance and some good wine selections. The live jazz band is amazing - I have been here 4 - 5 times and was never disappointed. What made my visit more worthwhile was meeting Danya. She is the events manager who is super gorgeous and friendly, stealing the spotlight from the jazz band. If there are any needs, she will be a great help.

Was there for happy hour on a Tuesday. Delicious drinks, super chill vibe and great services. Highly recommended.

It is a very nice venue. The sound is decent for the live jazz that they have considering the layout is primarily as a single tiered restaurant. The bar area is nicely separate from the dining area by the bench seating but not in a bad way. The food is delicious and perfect for dinner before the live music starts. The service however individually acceptable is rendered by a different server at nearly each table visit. This can create an impersonal and disjointed experience. Furthermore, I was asked to move from the table I had reserved to the bar despite the reservation. I declined but it was not pleasant to have been asked.

Best xiao lung bao and cocktails in town. My recommendation/ cocktails: smoke and sultry and Purple rain. The fried Cheung fun, spicy fish and the lamb bun are so delicious. I went on a Wednesday the live band named The Soul Strut is beyond, the lead vocal singer has the best voice. Staff are also very friendly. Will definitely come back again.

As soon as you step in the entrance and on your way to the guest reception you immerse yourself in a different atmosphere, like you are back in HKG a few decades ago. Gentlemen’s umbrellas are hanging on the wall, displayed like they are for sale. But that’s not all. We were really lucky and could be admitted, as the place was full that Friday night in October and we were a party of 4 without booking. Suddenly one of the window display opened, it was in fact a “secret door” leading to the main room. Live music from group “On point” was on, cocktails were made and served. We stood next to the bar and enjoyed glasses of white wine, and I ventured in drinking a Queen of Melody. The music was bewitching, we eventually started to sing along the tunes from Beyoncé, Michael Jackson or Bruno Mars, with guests around us standing and dancing in between tables. WHAT A NIGHT. We didn’t have food, however can warmly recommend a cocktail at Foxglove after dinner, and before your night is over.

Worst dinner experience in Hong Kong. Live music was nice but service was extremely slow. Food is terrible, very bad quality and Sichuan chicken is mostly cashew nuts with dried chillis barely any actual chicken. Didn’t tell us what each dish was so my husband ended up eating lobster dumpling, he’s allergic to fish. We paid and left as fast as possible. I would never go back.

Charming underground speakeasy bar completed with an excellently appointed decor and great live music. Delicious food and drinks, although drinks on the more expensive side vs. other competitors. Food was all very tasty. Fast service. Will be back again soon!

GREAT place for lunch - Uni dumplings & the Three Little Birds (dessert) are must-haves!

The outside is disguised as an umbrella shop. Go behind the secret door and it's totally another story. Creative range of cocktails served in a classy setting. A word of warning. There is a dress code and shorts just won't be tolerated. Jeans and a shirt are definitely ok. If you plan to go there late, make a booking to avoid disappointment.

Amazing interiors, very classy. Good list of original cocktails. The food is good quality but also overpriced for dishes that are not impressive, like the fried chicken. Come for the jazz and a good drink.

Only chinese food is available on the dinner menu and it did not taste good. When I made the booking via email, I requested to stay for the music show after dinner, and I did not receive a reply. At 10pm, I was requested to leave the table and move to the bar. When I explained to the waitress about my reservation, the waitress let me stay on until the next reserved guests arrived. The guests arrived at around 11pm, and I was ready to leave by then. The performers were great but the sound quality from the audio system was not good.

Great vibes in this place! Live music and wonderful cocktails what more could ask for. Happy hours are a great bargain but the real night begins in the evenings with the music and parties! I would highly recommend this place for drinks and a good night out!

😐 It's good to have a rare chance try out Eastern European food. I've never been there so I am not in a good position to judge whether this is tradional. Here are some fair comments: The pork dumplings: wraping is thick, stuffed with minced pork, fully. Meat were a bit dry. Cheese ox tougue pot, serve...
