We went during off peak time so the wait wasn’t that bad! Probably around 20-30 minutes. I’m not 100% sure if it’s Michelin star worthy but it was delicious. The goose flavour was quite mild but still good. Honestly the highlight for me was the suckling pig and pork belly char siu, must get! I’d definitely come back if the wait isn’t too long.

Is it wrong to say this but everything was really good except for the goose? It was too hard to bite into and the service wasn't great the waitress got mad because we can't understand Chinese.

Went for dinner tonight, not crowded, waiters were polite and sincere. The roasted goose was so tasty, the skin was so aromatic when you have a bite those flavor just linger in your mouth, rice was of good quality goes well w the goose and the choi sum they used they made sure it was without the pesticide/bitter taste that one used to get with other roast goose restaurant. Live up to their michelin star reputation. Very satisfied with their food and service.

First time here! We arrived at about 5:20pm and there’s already a line outside. Waited slightly less than an hour. We ordered Roast Goose (half), Suckling Pig, Cucumbers, Prince Kinsen Noodles. It was a guilty pleasure! Yummy! The staff are friendly and provided great service despite the hustle and bustle 👍🏻 Would definitely come back the next time I’m in Hong Kong!

Really good roast Goose. Line up took a while, but it was worth it. I would recommend getting a 1/4 or 1/2 order of the duck along with the lunch sets.

The roast is good but the Que is crazy. Under the hot sun 1.5 hours ! We were there at 1130. The roast goose was crispy and not too oily taste good on its own without any dips. char siew melts in your mouth. The soya chicken is tender and juicy full of flavour. The century eggs also as good as before. I should say this is the best place for roast stuff but I will choose to take away next time . Those who do not want to miss anything do go early , item sold out fast. Suckling pig only served late in the day or dinner . The restaurant is really small hope they will expand soon to accommodate their customer.

Hotel staff recommended this outlet which is not too far from our hotel. We were warned that it's a very busy restaurant. We waited for about 45 minutes in line to be seated and served and also there's a note saying that diners are given 60 minutes to consume their food. All the seatings are very close to one another. Both roast goose and BBQ pork we ordered were tasty and juicy. We left as soon as we finished our meal.

Definitely come here for the goose! It was juicy and meaty without being overly greasy and fatty. The skin was crispy too! The charsiu was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of honey sweetness and fat; just like lasagna, the burnt crispy caramelized edges oozes of umami flavour and are the best bits! Be prepared to wait in line though, we came at 1:20 and didn't get in u til 2:05. Expect rushed serviced and minimal deco, you are here just for the food. It has been given a few accolades from Michelin and continues to hold on its one star status, which they will never let you forget (refer to pic). Half goose was around 350hkd and charsiu 170hkd.

Roast goose (lower quarter), roast pork, 菜心 and marinated tofu have the best texture I've ever had and taste is great for all of them. Soya chicken has great taste but the texture can be better. Daily soup was just okay. Our initial egg noodle order was missed by our waitress and since the dishes are a little on the saltier side, they are better paired with noodles IMO so it was not ideal. She was very friendly though!

Kam’s Roast Goose definitely got their Michelin star for a reason. The goose was cooked to perfection and the meat was really tender with the fats providing a umami and savoury flavour. Every bite of the goose meat hits all the right notes and every part of the goose gives off a different flavour that was just indescribable. If you got sick of the meat which only happens if you overeat, you can accompany it with the plum sauce given as it compliments with the meat perfectly. We also ordered the noodles but it was abit dry and tough. The goose webs were abit tough as well but still quite flavourful. Service was fast and attentive too but the restaurant was slightly small and cramped. Definitely a must to try their roast goose if you visit Hongkong!

Line up formed an hour before the restaurant even opened! The food tasted phenomenal (colder than I'd prefer, but the flavour made up for it). And the staff was soooo friendly & polite. For a small shop, it is overpriced esp for BBQ, regardless of being a michelin star restaurant. ⭐️ I ordered the goose, chicken, & two versions of pork.

Reached around 6pm on a Wednesday and waited around an hour before our seats were ready. The lady manager (Presumably) were regularly stepping out to check on the queue outside. There was 2 tables of 5pax when we stepped in and overheard the manageress telling the other staff to let us have the couch seat as it’s safer for the kid 🙏🏼 Our half goose were already reserved when we were in the queue and we quickly placed the rest of our orders which were served rather quickly I must say. The goose was really good especially when complemented with the special plum sauce. Love also the cucumber cold dish, the al dente cooked plain noodles and also the goose blood 😅 Had a small episode with a lady from the next table trying to squeeze in the already rather tight gap between our tables 🙄 and knocked over one of our glasses filled with beer. Despite being busy, the manageress were quick to approach our table trying to dry our couch and table area. She even got us a new order of beer even though it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. Overall really good food and dining experience 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The roast goose at Kam's is truly exceptional. The skin is crispy and golden brown, and the meat is juicy and flavorful. The goose is served with a variety of accompaniments, including pancakes, hoisin sauce, and spring onions. In addition to roast goose, Kam's also serves other Cantonese dishes, such as roast pork, char siu, and noodles. The food is all cooked to perfection, and the service is excellent. Kam's Roast Goose is a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth the splurge. If you are looking for a truly authentic Cantonese dining experience, then Kam's is the place to go.

Combination of roast goose and their century egg is truly legendary. Has to be one of the best if not the best in the world. Quality is consistent all these years. Never disappoint.

Arrived at 5pm on a Sunday, lined up for 1.5 hours. Food was tasty, however not worth the 1.5 wait. Roast goose tastes good, savory; the skin is crispy. Steamed chicken is tender. Fatty cha siu was amazing. We also ordered their suckling pick but it was sold out. The lady who took our number was friendly. You need to specify how much goose you want (quarter, half, full) right when you take the number.

Popular place - line for lunch started forming at least 30 minutes before they opened, at 11:30a.m. It's pretty good food and very good customer service but I can't quite figure out the hype when there's so much good food all around. The BBQ pork was disappointingly dry and tough. The roast goose was good although I've had equally good goose elsewhere with no line, no time limit of 60 minutes to eat.

Visited Kam's Goose on a Monday. Arrived at 11.15am and there were already a queue. Waited for 45min before our group of 4 were finally seated. We ordered 4 set lunches. Service was fast, food were nice but I personally find the goose meat tough. I won't queue up for it again.

Overall quite good. Especially the char Shui and the pork ribs. Roast Goose is very juicy, but a bit too tough for my personal taste.

Be prepared to wait at least 1 hour or more to dine in as restaurant is small about 30 seats. Else just order takeaway. We ordered roast goose. It's quite fatty. The char siew is lean and not too exceptional. Goose is 7/10. Total price 450hkd for quarter goose, liver and char siew, 1 price and 1 cold drink.

Worth the long queue up to 1hr. Must try the roast goose, delicious and yummy! Goes well with rice and vegetables. We also ordered the preserved eggs, very good one. It tastes better than in our country.

Wow the Michelin star standard went down so low! I came for a Goose ($200 for a quarter) expecting crispy skin and meat full of flavour. I end up with soggy skin and tasteless meat (saved only by their plum sauce to give a bit of taste). I had better goose in much cheaper restaurant! This Michelin star system is starting to look a giant scam to raise price for for below average restaurant. A big disappointment to my HK trip.

So, this was my first experience to this establishment. The Kam's Roast Goose Restaurant is conveniently located on Hennessey Road, no.226 to be precise at ground level with a relatively conspicuous shop sign. The restaurant primarily serves roasted meats with the roasted goose being the main signature dish reflecting the restaurant name. So, we ordered roasted goose, Soy sauce-marinated chicken, blanched choy sum, steamed preserved pork sausage and duck liver sausage and spring onion with ginger thin Chinese noodles as well as white rice and a portion of roasted pork with crispy skin. Seating... cramped... uncomfortable and designed for short term sitting... common with such places so as to silently usher diners to hurry and move on after about 30 minutes, after all, the premises was quite small, which I suppose accounted for the cozy atmosphere. The service was basic, not particularly fast and while the waiters and waitresses were few and gruff looking, they were nonetheless still relatively polite and did their job. Unfortunately, they were out of roasted pork, that's Char Siu... so, I wasn't able to try that. So, the roasted goose, was marinated with fermented brown beans, rather unusual than the traditional Chinese Five Spice but still tasted quite good and the meat was tender but the skin wasn't at all crispy as one might expect of roasted goose, so that was a bit of a letdown. But at least the meat was warm. The soy sauce chicken was quite good and the meat was moist. Could have done with more sauce in the serving dish so that the diner could add more flavor to the meat by choice. The duck liver sausage was very good with a well balanced mix of flavors reflecting excellent sausage making skills from their suppliers. Meanwhile, the pork sausage was quite good and it used the pig intestines for sheathing, which is the higher quality for preserved sausages... the lower quality uses synthetic cellulose and can be seen after cooking. The serving of roasted pork although cold, had nice crispy skin and the meat was tender. So, it was quite good, even though, warm would be better. The vegetables were blanched till tender and served up neatly, tasted tender and juicy. The rice was nice and hot. The noodles were nicely done but I couldn't make out any ginger flavors in the taste. The bill totalled just over HK$800. The restaurant has apparently been awarded 1 Michelin star consecutively for the last 8 years ... quite an achievement but, to be honest, personally, I don't think the restaurant merits such high acclaim. Still, the restaurant is quite good overall and worthy of visiting.

Fantastic roasted meats restaurant. Been going to Vancouver BC for my BBQ meats fix and this blows my expectations out of the water. Succulent meats, full of flavor, moist to the bite, tender chew, and just the right amount of char on the outside without forming a dried out crust. I'm definitely dining here again before I leave. Wait only. No reservations. But turnover is quick and worth the wait

Good service, good taste. You can’t go wrong with this place if you’re looking for a good roast goose. However, doesn’t particularly stand out from other roast meat rice options in Hong Kong which are all pretty good (this one included).

Best Cantonese BBQ I’ve ever tasted. Must try! Prices very reasonable. Perfect fat to meat ratio. Excellent crispy skin on the roasted pork. Everything from their white rice was delicious. Veggies also cooked just right with a good amount of garlic. Staff was efficient and friendly. It was so good, we went back a second time. This place is highly recommended by locals too! When the locals like it, you know it’s going to be good.

Food is amazing. Duck and roasted pork 💯 The sauce that goes with the meat is sweet. We went pretty early, the waitress told us usually it's stock out

Excellent quality of roast goose with the traditional taste. Beside, the preserved egg is a must. The price has raised a lot and expensive at this small shop. However it deserves for that price because of the good quality. Please go there before the busy dinner time.

Have to wait but fave for roast goose noodles in Hong Kong! Must haves: thing with noodles (have to pay extra though), preserved eggs with ginger. Yum.

By far the best roast goose I've had so far. Crispy crunchy skin with a generous layer of subcutaneous fat beneath. Meat was succulent and juicy as well without being too tough or dry. Sweet plum sauce was a perfect match to dissolve the greasiness of the meat. The noodles had a slightly strong alkaline smell when it first came. Fortunately it didn't taste as strong as it smelt. The only down side was that minimal order for the famous roast goose was a quarter goose for HK$150. Slightly too big a portion if you were to come alone.

The best roast goose and duck ever!! The line was over an hour wait but it was worth it. The day we went. It was super hot and sunny so the wait was even worst. The restaurant is fairly small in size. Family style dining so you may sit next to strangers. Food was so very good. Very with it!!

No wait on a Sunday at 2.45pm. half a goose for two people seems right. The other dishes didn't look as good. Use the plum sauce at the end to refresh your palette. Highly recommend this place.

The roast goose didn't disappoint bit the Char Siu (BBQ pork) was mediocre.
