If you are looking for a memorable dining experience in Hong Kong, look no further than Lin Heung Kui. This place has it all: rude lousy service, crowded unhygienic environment and sub par food. You will be amazed by how the pushy staff treat you like an unwelcome guest, how the tables and dishes are covered with grease and splashed with water, and how the food is bland, cold and overpriced. You will never forget the sight of wet dirty floors beneath your less than clean stools, the loud unruly pushy customers seated at and around your already cramped table and the taste of disappointment and eternal regret. Incredibly, Lin Heung Kui is a Michelin recommended restaurant, which is a mystery that rivals the Bermuda Triangle. How this place ever earned such a prestigious accolade is beyond me. Maybe the Michelin inspectors were bribed, blindfolded or brainwashed. Maybe they confused Lin Heung Kui with another restaurant. Maybe they have a twisted sense of humor. Whatever the reason, do not trust their judgment. I would not return to Lin Heung Kui, not even if they received 10 stars. In fact, I would rather eat at McDonald's than at this place. Lin Heung Kui is a disgrace to the culinary scene of Hong Kong and a waste of time and money. Avoid it at all costs.

Super chaotic but extremely authentic Hong Kong dim sum dinning experience. Do yourself a favour and move up to higher floor if lower floor is crammed. You will need to find your own table and also chase down cart auntie for dimsum. The server will give you terrible attitude if you’re not following the protocol but don’t take it personally and just know that once you get through all that the food is worth it 😅 would recommend order soup of the day to cleanse your palette after lots of heavy oily food!

Love the feels of this old school push-cart dim sum place. Felt a little intimidated by the fast-paced place. Once push-carts were out of kitchen, ppl flocked towards it to order their food. Food were served piping hot & yummy! Porridge was a little too huge a bowl though, couldn’t finish. 😅

We came here for dinner and dim sum wasn’t served during dinner time. The dishes were nicely done although the air was full of antiseptic chemicals for my liking. The waiter was funny and friendly.

I came to experience the traditional push cart dim sum. The restaurant was busy on a weekday, but we managed to secure a table upon our arrival (before 10 am). Rather than “wait to be seated”, you find a table yourself. The dim sum we ordered was generally good, especially the steamed ones. I like the chicken, fish maw and mushroom wrapped with 玉竹. They have many other exotic dim sum options made from organ (not my cup of tea). What I didn't like was that not everything is available all the time. For instance, the woo kok is only available at 12 pm, and har kaw is only available towards the end of our meal. As the restaurant getting busier, you may feel under pressure because diners who just arrived will be waiting beside you for a table.

I went in 30/12/23 noon, superb crowded. I share table with another 2 group of people. The staffs there all are rude. The dim sum n foods tastes good if you don’t mind the atmosphere and very bad customer service. The name of restaurant will changed wef 01/01/24.

A very popular and nostalgia restaurant to satisfy your experience of the authentic HK style dim sum and Cantonese cuisines. It has changed its name from Lin Heung Kui to Lu On Kui following the change of ownership of the restaurant.

Don’t come here if you fancy or high class people. They basically have no service! But I love them! It’s my childhood and somewhere 1990s. Help yourself with table, wash your own cup and bowl. Help yourself with food and enjoy the vibes
