Always wanted to go Caprice for dinner and so was having very high expectation. Staff was very helpful but we felt they were over reacted. The first dish was placed right after they had put down the bread and collected the dishes immediate after we put down the cutlery. The first dish was delivered at 7:20 and by 8:30 we already had the 5th course. It was just too rush for a fine dining. Food not expected as a Michelin 3 star restaurant and wont be back again.

Deserve the Michelin 3 stars. Summary: View from restaurant: 7/10 Renovation/Design: 8/10 (Personal preference, am a classy retro, fond of classics. One thing to pick on, lights are too yellowish) Atmosphere: 7/10 (Quite and comfy.) Service: 7/10 Food (Taste 8/10 Plating 8/10 Ingredient 9/10) Overall comments: You can feel the heart, passion and effort the chef put in the dishes. The preparation work is highly appreciated and you will be moved. If you are a tourist, highly recommend you to go to Caprice, it worths a journey to HK just to try this restaurant. If you had been to quite a few Michelin 3 stars restaurants in HK and around the world like me, this is a place that you would love to come again for fine dining and for special occasions) Details: Appetizer -Foie gras, Salmon with Caviar, Crispy potato with Curry (The Crispy potato with Curry surprises us, innovative, but the taste is a bit strong as an appetizer) - Beef Tartare with 10g White Truffle – freshly arrived on the day (If I am to pick on, the white truffle was claimed to arrived on the day. The white truffle had lost some of its scent and flavor compared to what I had in the International Alba White Truffle Fair in Italy in which I tried the freshest white truffle first hand. I know I can’t compare what I had in Alba, Italy with that in Caprice. But still, best chef strive for the best) - Foie gras with apple - Live Alaskan King Crab with Caviar & Eatable Gold (Caviar not too salty, preserved and handled well with no fishy smell) Soup - Onion soup with Onion ice cream and cheeze crispy (one of the best dish I have in this meal. Innovative. Surprising. The sorbet is rich in onion smell. The salty cheeze cracker balanced the sweetness of the sorbet) Main: - France Pigeon with Vietnam Cacao, with Foie Gras (If I am to pick on , the Foie Gras is super greasy. I am not a fan of Foie Gras so if you like greasy food like Japanese A5 Wagyu you may like it ) - France Pigeon with Vietnam Cacao, with Foie gras - Red Muller with Saffron source Desert: -Small cake, chocolate -Lemon refresher -A dessert special for my birthday

12-Mar-21 pre-birthday lunch Excellent experience. We ordered 4 courses lunch + wine pairing. 4 course: Starter: scallop/ foie gras terrine Soup: potato + bacon/ Mushroom Main: Mayura beef/ wagyu beef cheek Dessert: Chocolate Moelleux / Hazelnut Souffle Wine pairing 1. Champagne 2. White wine 3. Red Wine The staff described every plate when they served the food. We enjoyed everything and the staff were so nice. I love all the wine sommelier selected for us. Definitely will come back. Also want to try their cocktail. Tips: please choose window seat.

Was here on a weekday for birthday lunch, everything was nicely up-to-standard. Food and services were great as expected for a luxury restaurant. The service was attentive but not pushy. Overall, expectation was high and the place lived up to it.

Possibly the best French restaurant I’ve been in HK. Very nice ambience, and the near-window seats came with great Harbour views. Each course we ordered was prepared and presented so delicately, packed with flavors and surprises. The portion size, compared with most other fine dining places, was bigger, which I count as a plus. Service was fantastic, which is in line with our expectation. The overall experience was just very pleasant. Would recommend this place for special occasions.

(Translated by Google) The taste is delicious 😋. This is a Michelin Samsung, which tastes similar to a one-star French restaurant but is a bit pricey. Every dish is nicely decorated. The best appreciation is their plate 🥰. The waiter is very good 👍 (Original)

A beautiful interior with stunning views is what greets you first when you walk into Caprice. The service is, of course, unrivalled, and the food is simply stunning. Expect very fine dining (small portions) and expensive wine. It would be nice to see more vegetarian options on the menu, but the kitchen was happy to accommodate this request and provide alternate options.

Excellent for the iconic dish such as photo 2, for the lunch set you have to spend more money around 400 HDK for that but for other dishes, it is just fine. However the service quality is quite good and professional.

The food is delicious, high quality, elegant environment, and first-class staff service. Good taste recommendation: Mushroom soup, French fish mousse, organic butter chicken, French raw scallops, chocolate almond crispy and chestnut mousse (Original)

Great service and food We were able to get a lunch reservation for 2 just 2 days in advance. The ambience is really nice, with picture windows facing the harbour and spacious seating. The food is delicious. Every course was done to perfection. Portion sizes were okay, not small and not huge. We were full by the end of 5 courses. Would definitely return!

Was disappointed with the overall experience and would not recommend given this price. Went for the tasting menu with wine pairing. The wines selections sucks big time. Not sure if the normal wines are like this or they giving us cheap wines and charged michelin 3 stars price. Worst wines ever! Ive never left so much wines ever! Basically just one sip and we cant bring ourselves to take second sip. And the male waiter’s English proficiency needs major improvement! I can barely understand him. I seriously dont expect these standard - be in svs or wines for michelin 3 stars to be this bad. For the price, i can get better food and svs and wines at even normal restaurant. Never again!

Came here with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This Michelin 3-star French cuisine is incredible with its superb service and exceptional quality of food! The desserts wrapped up the dinner in a perfect manner and we both left the restaurant with a big smile!

Nicely prepared French cuisine by Chef Galliot. A bit of warning, spare enough time & $ for a spectular view of Victoria Harbour at 4 Seasons at this time of the year.

  • 3/5 a l. 2 years ago on Google
Quite disappointed...I could not taste the freshness of the ingredients , only the sauce. Some of them were too salty. Only the foie gras with corn custard was above standard. Service definitely not a 3star. Really doubt I would visit again.

  • 3/5 Jacky L. 1 year ago on Google
Dishes are hit and miss. Added $450 for L'Aubrac lamb main course, portion was tiny, smaller than the critical mass to be even enjoyable, but it taste underwhelming anyway, especially that thin layer of unknown lamb meat. Handling the fig dessert was very messy, and it just taste like a random mix of flavors at difference temperatures without synergy (Ringo's fig dessert at Four Seasons cake shop is MUCH better) The supposedly great souffle also meh. Should go for the cheese platter instead, in fact I should have gone for the menu Carte Blanche it was so much better.

  • 4/5 Sabrina H. 1 year ago on Google
Nice restaurant but something about it feels dated — maybe the worn table cloths or the waiters in dirty/smelly suits. Food is good, best dish was the lobster, but everything else was mediocre.

Worth every michelin star. Not many michelin places I would go to more than once but Caprice is one I've repeatedly visited. Excellent food accompanied by amazing views. The most outstanding langoustine I've ever had.

Ok, it’s a 3 Michelin star place in Hong Kong, at the four seasons. If you want the luxury experience this is it. For the price we paid I was close to give it a 4 star if it was not for the steak, service (assistance manager was awesome) and the cheese platter. Not exactly my normal thing but worth a try once if you want to spend over 3 to 4 k per head. Beautiful views

Caprice is an exceptional restaurant located in the Four Seasons Hotel, offering a fine dining experience with outstanding food and breathtaking views. The restaurant specializes in French cuisine, with a focus on seafood and seasonal ingredients. The dishes are beautifully presented, with each bite bursting with flavor. The menu is extensive, with a variety of options to suit different tastes and preferences. The wine list is also impressive, with a wide selection of wines from around the world. The restaurant's location atop a hill provides stunning views of the Victoria Harbour, adding to the overall dining experience. The ambiance is refined and elegant, with attentive and professional service. Overall, Caprice is an outstanding restaurant that offers a memorable dining experience with exceptional food and a stunning view. Highly recommended.

It was our first visit to the Michelin 3 Star Caprice. Great atmosphere and staff were excellent and attentive. The signature crab dish and the yellow wine mint oil on the langoustine dish were just another level. It was overall a fantastic fine dining experience during our short stay in HK!

Absolutely great. The food is not the most innovative, but quality is excellent. The fish is very tender and the best I had in a while. The service is also matching for the Michelin 3 stars. The cheese plate has a huge variety, and the servers are also very knowledgeable.

Hands down probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The food is overall great, and the service is just phenomenal. Kudos to the manager, Ms. Janet (I hope I get the name right). We went for birthday celebration, and we are glad we chose caprice for it. The waitress explained the dishes nicely, which added our appreciation to the food served. We chose the 5 courses lunch set menu, I wont describe all of the food, but my favorite is the pigeon, lobster bisque, the tomato with burrata and Their bread!! Their bread is just lovely, it has the crunch and the softness of the bread that I love. The lobster bisque is packed with flavors, the tomatoes are so nice to have as appetiser, and the pigeon is soft and juicy (although my friends said it is a bit fishy, but I am okay with that). The dessert is also nice, and the petit fours is lovely. It is an expensive lunch, but I am happy with the food and service served. Worth it to try.

Enjoy the long weekend lunch with wife here. Service is same as usual that outstanding. Keep my luggage proactively. We are seated in window corner side with extreme privacy. Told them ahead that we need to leave at 1:45 and they can make this happen while suggesting we order a four courses. Wife is amazed by how they can exactly do this. Enjoy and satisfied.

(Translated by Google) A friend introduced Caprice for the first time to try Four Seasons Hotel. Their food is delicious, the quality and level are very high. During the mid-term, the sommelier selects various wines and chooses his own preferences according to the tastes of the guests. Seeing that there are many guests in the restaurant that day, the current situation still keeps guests visiting. Obviously this restaurant can only be achieved with high quality and stable service. Serene leads the staff, such as Kristy, Barry, Jason, Summer, etc. so that guests can taste delicious food and feel first-class service. We must visit Caprice frequently in the future. Took the Dinner menu - service was as expected, excellent staff including the sommelier. Food - each dish was correct and a perfect specimen of what it should be, however I would have expected something extra from a 3 michelin star restaurant, I was left thinking there could be a little more impressions. Fantastic bread, cheese, patisserie/desserts. French onion soup was a little too sweet and salty. If Caprice can impress without resorting to foie gras and caviar as fallbacks, I will be a repeat return patron. Also, I missed the chef at the end of the meal - no opportunity to provide feedback was given. Still, a good restaurant all in all.
