Situated in Renaissance Hotel, the view is stunning over looking the harbour. It is best to request for the table next to the window in advance. Atmosphere is a definite 5. The food sets a great example for a dim sum restaurant. We love the service here. My tea cup was never empty, and the staffs are very attentive. The crispy pork (suckling pork) is excellent — crispy on the skin and not oily. The tofu skin is delicious. With all that said, the food is 3.5 because the basic dim sum could have been better. The thicker flour of the har bow and smaller shrimp were disappointing. Bo Lou Bao (Pineapple bun) was mediocre at best. Xiao long bao had this thick soup spoon making it difficult to eat. On Feb 3, 2023, the Chair & Vice Chair of a Committee hosted a New Year dinner in the 潮蓮 room here. As a Committee Member, I had the privilege not just to enjoy the excellent food and drinks, but to have some intellectual and social indulgence. They made one of the best memories of our life!

This was my fifth time visiting Dynasty. All dishes were delicious as usual. What impressed me most this time was it’s friendly, sophisticated staffs, Valeria and Lily. They took care of us patiently and provided excellent services. They were attentive and treated us as friends. Since my girlfriend felt uncomfortable, they kept helping her, providing her warm water and blanket proactively. Besides, they arranged and displayed the dishes in an ideal manner. They are professional and amicable. We sincerely thank them for providing a superb services to us. The staffs and dishes in Dynasty are always remarkable, making it one of the best Chinese restaurants in HK.
