Awesome food, absolutely unreal. If you don’t mind the price, they I would 100% recommend it. That being said, you pay for what you get, which is incredible food. Every ingredient and flavour was specifically thought out and planned. Every bite of food was pleasurable. The high light for us was the ceviche, and the scallops. Service was excellent too, very attentive and staff were very knowledgeable in what was in the food and how it was cooked. I definitely will be back again, maybe for a special occasion. Thank you!

Mexican street tacos with a twist. Mexican food has always been difficult to come by in HK. CHINO offers up traditional Mexican food with a Japanese twist. Their tacos are a good size so you can try a few different flavours. Some personal favourites are the Marinated Pork and the Fish Tacos. Also don't be afraid to try their Tostadas (think open faced tacos with a crunchy shell) as well as the Eggplant Katsu. The staff are friendly and always willing to give their suggestions on things to try. Have been back multiple times and will keep on coming back.

It should be a crime for food to taste this good 😲 Tostadas were the highlight. Flavour explosion and addictively crunchy. Staff were so kind and accommodating. The space itself is intimate and bright. Great for a date or with girlfriends for dinner.

Mini tacos, ceviche, chorizo fried rice. This corner shop mexican restaurant is a hidden gem in Kennedy Town. Located on the ground floor of an old building, the modern deco of this restaurant is welcoming and the staff are super friendly. The portion size for the food is towards the small side, but the prices are reasonable and means you can try more dishes. Our favourite dish was the ceviche. Fresh, citrusy with a hint of spiciness.

Been wanting to come here cause it was always packed and looked like it had good vibes. Chill place, ok food - portions are quite small. Taco was mediocre at best. Space felt a little crowded but most dishes were served quickly. Staff are friendly.

Wow! It’s so good here, gem in Kennedy Town. I honestly prefer Chino over 11 west side if you are looking for Mexican food but 11 west side has better & bigger atmosphere. At chino, honestly everything is good!!! We had a special scallops that was quite spectacular. The tacos are also bomb, shrimp, beef, pulled pork - all fantastic. Best Mexican I had so far in Hong Kong :)

Great tacos with a modern and Asian twist. I'm not normally the biggest fan of some of these "modern" twists to food, but Chino does it well. There's a lot of use of fresh fruit flavours that matches up with the marinated meats, and their tortillas are fresh.

one of my top restaurants in hong kong! always a reliable choice and the dishes are super flavourful! would recommend the chorizo fried rice, the chicken and egg tostada, and the fried fish taco!

The food was amazing, and the staff were generally quite friendly and helpful. However, the kitchen seemed very frenzied, as we waited very long in between dishes and there were a few mistakes, like bringing the same order twice, or mixing up a dish with another table’s order. Also, it’s a bit on the pricey side, and the scallop tostada smelled a little fishy… If the dishes were all served at a suitable time frame, this would’ve been a 4.5 star rating for me!

The chicken and egg hard shell taco was to die for. Ordered two. Chris, the owner, was so cool and welcoming. Def coming again.

Food was not bad, but the overall experience was not pleasant. -Drinks took forever to come (over 15 mins). -Everything fresh on the menu was sold out. -Halfway through the meal , items already ordered were suddenly unavailable and also sold out. - Just one server taking care of the whole restaurant , so service seemed rushed. - Remarked it was for a birthday and nothing happened ( I understand that this place doesn’t have desserts, but if the restaurant doesn’t provide anything special for birthdays, the guest should be informed when the table is booked) It was a very disappointing meal.

Delicious mexican food with fresh ingredients! I love how their flavours are very well balanced and how you can still taste the ingredients underneath the sauces. The highlight of the meal us the fish tostada with furikake and the eggplant katsu (so creamy!!) Super attentive service and great vibes too! Will definitely go back.

One of my favourites in Kennedy Town. Fusion Japanese-Mexican food is absolutely amazing. Great highballs from the bar...and the staff are super friendly and welcoming.

    1. Friendly bartender who recommended food and chatted a lot with us. 2. Fusion style Mexican food is served, tacos are small but tasted good. Love every single dish! 3. Bit pricey but I would like to come again

They were able to make vegan tacos but make sure to mention that you don't eat dairy products. The first attempt the tacos were covered in cheese, the staff were attentive and replaced them for me without cheese. They also made my drinks free to apologies for the mistake. The food was good but I'd like to see more creative ways to make vegan options in the future
