I don’t know how anyone gave this place good reviews. I feel like they must have been rating a different hotel. There was mold all over the shower, walls, and sink. You couldn’t lift your arms in the shower without hitting the ceiling. My husband is only 5”10. I don’t know how a taller person could have even taken a shower in there. The TV didn’t work in our room. They only clean the room every 4 days. Pool deck is old and has NO Tropical feel at all. Water was cold. Jacuzzi was small and was always full at night. On a positive note, staff was friendly and it’s in a good location. It has the feel of a very cheap hotel.

Really like this hotel. It’s just down from everything and you can walk to all the locations easily. The room was nice. Just remember to turn your fan on by pushing the button. The fan is what helps keep the room cool otherwise it heats up pretty good during the day. Closing the blinds while you’re away will also help keep the room from getting hot as well. You do have a balcony but it’s very short. If you have a fear of heights, you probably won’t step outside onto at all. The hidden little breakfast place beside the main restaurant is affiliated with Starbucks. Super convenient for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The restaurant beside it looks good and the have a 5 lb pancake challenge. Good luck if you try.

This Hilton, sitting right at the beach, in Waikiki, is just beautiful. We have not one complaint. It is large, but not so huge that you feel lost all the time. The rooms are wonderful, the place is super clean and the service is great. We had a suite which was great. We had our grandson with us so he slept in the living room in the pull out bed, which was so comfortable and he had no desire to change rooms with us. When we got there the staff was really nice and we did not have to wait long for our ocean view room to be ready. The room was spotless, up to date and large. We had an amazing view of the City and the beach. It was all just wonderful. The food was great at their restaurant and it is located near other great places to eat. You will love the pools and all the amenities you expect from a luxury hotel. We will be back. Have the best time.

I should’ve known what time this hotel was on once I arrived and staff didn’t help with luggage and the front desk said they clean rooms every FOUR DAYS. Y’all should be ashamed having guests need to request to have their rooms cleaned a day in advance. Check in was smooth and I received a room with wonderful views as I requested. The room was not that clean. The carpet needs to be replaced. The floor looks like it needs to be vacuumed. Everything has scratches, stains and rust. The place honestly looks chewed up and needs to be listed as either a 2 or 3 star hotel. 4 stars is an entire reach. Staff doesn’t seem like they want to be helpful or useful, everyone seems like they don’t want to be here and the attitudes are unpleasant. I booked to stay here for a week. I’ve only been here for a few hours and I’m looking at other hotels so I can have a pleasant stay. Please pay your staff better so they can be more pleasant and want to do their jobs or just fire everyone and start from scratch. Hilton’s are typically of a certain standard and this location has missed the mark entirely. I would not recommend anyone stay here unless you’re gone all day and don’t have to look at the condition of the room or deal with terrible attitudes from staff.

Staying at the Hilton was a great choice! The location was awesome and close to everything! It was a short walk to the beach and the beach views were unbeatable. If you're looking for food and shops or entertainment, everything was right down the street. We literally walked everywhere from coffee shops to abc stores to the international marketplace and the beach the entire time, no car needed! The service was amazing, everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Definitely worth a stay and I'd return for another stay.

Overall, our stay was amazing. The hotel is clean with several amenities. Almost everything is in walking distance. The staff were all kind and personable. The downstairs restaurant and bar drinks were on point, I would recommend you try the loco Moco and burger. The only things I would change would be a bigger room, staff informing me of the extra 500 dollar hold on on my account at check-in and a shuttle for hotel guest. Aside from that our 7 day stay for Christmas went well and will be one to remember.

The place is dirty, dusty, has feather (from the pillows) and garbage under the bed, and seems like under the bed, sides of the bed, and under the desk haven’t been vacuumed for over at least 6 months. When you walk on the carpeted area with white socks, under the socks get black and brown dirty color within 5 minutes. The unit is Dirty, period. This Hilton is more like a 2 star hotel carrying a Hilton brand name as a 4 star hotel. Staff are unfriendly and lack guest services hospitality and care that are needed for new hotel guests. Location is not by the beach and it actually taken 1/2 mile to walk to get to the beach. Their online ads and images shows as if there are just right next to the beach, but they are not. On the top of all these, the collect $58 resort fee per night in addition to the paid reservation cost. Buyers be aware is the sign that should be posted on this property. Adding an update: Checking out after six day, we have rashes and my child has red eyes and keeps sneezing from all the dust in the room. Although they vacuumed after my complaints, the room is still full of dust as they didn't dust the place. In six days of stay, they cleaned rooms only once. I have taken many pictures and videos. This issue will be reported to corporate Hilton as they might consider more appropriate measures for future guests. They also charge $58 daily resort fee that basically covers towel services in a swimming pool. This hotel is not a resort and does not offer resort type of services such as live music, entertainment, or a buffet breakfast. The main concern is the dust and dirt in all of their rooms. I spoke to many other guests and they experience similar situations in their rooms. For a hotel this dusty, I wonder why they only vacuum rooms once a week. Good luck with your hotel search!

While it is not directly on the beach you have views and are within walking distance of everything! Service desk was wonderful and a caring atmosphere is here! Valet was chosen due to not wanting to find parking, walk, and probably pay more - employees working valet were wonderful also! Key fob needed for the elevators which was nice and secure! Rooms were very nice and comfortable. (Sorry for the messy room pics) If ya don’t care about being one street from the beach book here! Did not eat here so I cannot talk about the restaurant but there are also plenty in the area to choose from!

I had a great time. The front desk staff was very friendly and location is amazing. Rooms are basic and nothing too fancy but spacious. Every room has a balcony and the view is good either city or ocean view. Laundry is on site but only thing I recommend is a microwave in rooms. Restaurant staff was amazing too. Will return for sure and recommend it.

I would certainly stay here again. We arrived late in the evening after being awake for 24 hours during travel and layovers. The front desk was quick and courteous. The amenities were very good. Super easy to get towels for pool/beach. Multiple, fast elevators prevented long waits. Within walking distance to everything in Waikiki. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for 5 days over the holidays. Booked a high floor ocean facing room. There were several annoyances, which I mention below, but the view and location make it worth it. Our room was spacious enough for the two of us, but would have felt tight for more people. It was pretty quiet. We occasionally heard people in the hall and above or next to us, but had no problems sleeping. We heard street noise from 19 floors up, so that is probably loud on lower floors. It was a super convenient location with a quick walk to everything we needed. Our AC worked fine, but the room smelled very moldy and the AC didn’t dehumidify, so we had to turn it way down to sleep at night and we always felt sticky. This is a large and busy hotel, but they have a tiny gym. It should be 4x as large. Parking is valet only and I think $48 per day. The pool water looked hazy and gross; not refreshing at all, so we didn’t even go in. The hallway carpet was filthy and didn’t looked like it was vacuumed during our whole stay. We only ate at the on-site restaurant once, but is was surprisingly good and fresh. All of the service staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful, but there was always a line/wait at the front desk and valet.

This hotel is definitely ok. The views on the upper levels can be nice but the pool and spa are both very basic. The bathroom was clean but the shower had mold spots on the wall. Overall this hotel is a solid four stars but is definitely not a luxury spa. Watch out for parking costs which are $45 a day. The location is great for walking around the tourist area of Waikiki and easily accessible to ask the beaches

After reading a view reviews I was a little iffy. But nice open lobby. Loved that you needed your key card to get up to your rooms. Made it feel safe. Staff helpful and pleasant when needed. Room looked like the pictures. The view of the beach was amazing to wake up to. If you have the extra money the view is well worth it. Bed comfortable. Stay was coo, we would stay here again. Close walk to beach and everything.

Amazing! We had 2 rooms as we brought along our children. We all loved everything. The rooms, service, location, and the free rentals! Beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board, and surfboard. Unlimited towel rental, but for the others, they allow 1 of those for free per day per room. Very cool. The MAC 2 Go was delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent. MAC 24/7 (no longer 24/7), and breakfast was delicious! The concierge staff are top notch! The mall is a 2-3 block walk, the zoo about 4 blocks and the aquarium another block up. The hotel is 1 block up from the beach front avenue where all the action is day and night! We rented bikes right on the side street of the hotel for about $5 and we cruised the area. Our teens had a blast in and out of the water. I definitely recommend. I still wonder how the reviews will say AMAZING, but the person gave a 4 (?). Ummm Amazing means 5 stars people. 😂

I needed to book a room at the last minute at 1:00am for seven nights. The front desk was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is clean, well run, and caters more to the business traveler and was a nice change of pace from the more tourist-overridden beachfront hotels. I needed to extend my stay two extra nights and they were also very accommodating. Housekeeping was thorough, and despite being scheduled to service the room only every four days, it was simple to request more frequent service as needed. Recommended.

I stayed for 9 days here at the hotel. The staff were great and the rooms were nice. The two bed rooms had clear glass bathroom walls. They had blinds but kinda weird still. Over all a very nice place to stay and they have free board rentals downstairs to all guests one per room.

No clue why all the reviews are so good. The rooms are tiny. Bathroom looks nice but there is no room for the shower door to open without practically standing on the toilet. Great view of other people's balconies. They put my family on different floors, even when we booked together. Only positive was the vallet staff was great. Not the Hilton quality I'm use to.

The service here is very good. From valet parking to house keeping and front desk. Jessica who helped check me in was very helpful, I had multiple reservations and she helped combine them together, avoided check out and check in again. The restaurant is a good place for a quick bite. And the beach towel machine is a great perk. The only thing I am not happy with is the AC in the room. It's cooling down the room, but somehow it didn't make the room dry, so the room was moist and cool...

We got a very good experience in this place. High floors have amazing view at the Ocean coast. Standard rooms are not spacious, but it is usually enough to get rest. The hotel is located 5 minutes away from the beach. There are a lot of nice restaurants nearby. I like Waikiki and would definitely go there again. This hotel is not going to disappoint you. This is a reliable place to stay nearby Waikiki Beach. However, parking is difficult to find close to the hotel and most likely you will need to use their valet parking that cost us $45 per day.

Hilton Hotel in Waikiki Beach provided an unforgettable experience. My stay on the 16th floor offered breathtaking views of the beach and a partial glimpse of the iconic Diamond Head Crater. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The staff at Hilton was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my stay. The location was perfect, with the beach just steps away and a vibrant atmosphere surrounding the hotel. Hilton Hotel in Waikiki Beach is a top-notch choice for a memorable and enjoyable Hawaiian getaway.

Hit and miss here. The hotel offers all the amenities expected for what you pay. Location and overall look are good. We spent 5 nights at room 802. Service at front desk varies based on who is there. Our checked out was done by Tammy. We would say average. Could be better and friendlier since front desk staff are the first to welcome guests in the hotel. Checked out done by Kit maybe Kil, she was nice and very polite. The best service is at valet. Consistent and good all the time. Service us quick when you request anything in your room. Be ready to keep your room organized and clean. The housekeeping service is scheduled every 4 days nothing in between. Even being clean and organized you have to to fix your bed, pick up any debris keep your restroom free of spills. We are not friends of water marks on the mirror so we cleaned around. I would suggest to the hotel do rooms inspections more often. We were paying $53 daily resort fee, so one of the basics “cleanliness” is not negotiable for us. Upon arrival our toilette had stains (maybe urine & poo) from previous hotel guests. Our hair dryer didn’t work (replaced when we called), the alarm clock split in 3 parts when we touched (maintenance guy put it in top of the closet, was not replaced. Said, placing it on top of the closet means a replacement is needed after we leave 🤔 The handle of night stand came off when we tried to open it. When it comes to some of the perks they offered, no all of them are useful: local calls? DVD movies? They have bikes for rent without a lock. Can u please add locks this way hotel guests can rent them? On text trip considering other options.

I would definitely stay here again! The rooms are spacious (for 2 people), albeit a bit dated. Bathroom layout is a bit odd. What you see is what you get. The rooms are clean other than the plasticy carpet floor - should wear slippers around to not get your feet dirty. The 4-day cleaning policy is totally manageable - we requested extra towels after day 2 and staff obliged, no problem. They also dispose of trash if you tie up the bag and leave it for when housekeeping makes their rounds. All of the staff are extremely kind and helpful. They are the highlight of my stay! The pool deck was clean and has lots of options for fun activities like mini golf, corn hole, etc. The location was great, short walk away from the beach and from lots of good food options. I never tried the restaurant in the hotel, but multiple uber drivers who dropped me off at the hotel said it was really good, which I was surprised to hear from a local!

Just returned from a 7 night stay in a mountain view room. Room was spacious and so much storage space in the bathroom. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Nice quiet bar lounge and food at the restaurant was very nice. Pool area was lovely, however,n ot much shade. I recommend this hotel 😊

We arrived early but reception kindly gave us early access to our room but it was next to the lifts - convenient but noisy. The room itself (3202) was on level 32 and had a great view out to the beach and sea. The room looked a little tired and may have been under-utilized as the battery for the door lock had to be replaced as well as the battery for the TV remote within our first week staying at the hotel. We also had to have the lock fixed on the balcony door as it was not locking - probably non compliant. Overall service was good but was let down by a newbie member of the bar staff pool side. The lady concerned had a poor grasp of customer service and etiquette. Abbie on the travel desk was awesome, very helpful. We didn’t eat here because of the poor reviews but it’s close to many eating venues and options in any case. The location is towards the Diamond Head end of Waikiki - convenient for walks and quieter than the center of Waikiki where we’ve stayed previously.

Upgraded an older Waikiki high rise from years gone by with Hilton brand standard amenities. Result is a comfortable stay 1 block from Waikiki beach with everything you would expect from a Hilton except a large room or an executive floor. High floors above 33 are considered premium and upgraded guests go there. The only restaurant is a wanna be local diner island style. Reality is a step down from Denny's. Stick with the in house Starbucks.

We recently ( December 29, 2023 to January 1, 2024) had a stay at this property and do not recommend it. From check in to check out front desk and bell captain ( luggage and vehicles) and concierge service was poor, misleading with lack of delivery. Our room was extremely expensive and very small. The property is too far from the beach and views are generally obstructed. We did have good experiences with the food and service in the Mac24/7 restaurant. We do not recommend this property.

For the money paid I could get 5.5 star hotel in Sydney Australia. Room king but a/c did not work for 3 nights. Wardrobe in bathroom. Small balcony with views facing beach looking west. View excellent for 1 Street back from beach and quite convenient to shops. Short walk to everything. Staff Bell boy not very helpful rude to cab. While I enjoyed my holiday greatly, for the money I expected more. I'm used to better.

Great location right in the heart of Waikiki - a block from the beach, where you can sun and surf. Restaurants in all directions. Shopping everywhere, too. The staff was really nice, and Blake makes the best Mai Tais. Our room was nice - we had "mountain view", but wished we'd paid for the ocean view since the beach is a block away and you can see people surfing from the hotel. Valet was solid; front desk, too. We didn't try any of the restaurants, but it was nice to get a drink while waiting to check in. Nice stay for a business trip. No complaints.

Night staffs were not friendly when we first arrived. Check in wasn’t smooth - I told the lady the last name and she came back twice and told us that they don’t have the reservation which was stressful after travelling hours to be there. She finally found the reservation after the third time and gave us the keys and did not seem apologetic for making us wait. Valet staff at night was also unpleasant to speak with. He asked us what room number we’re in after we told him we’re there to check in and he told us to go check in and to come back out to tell him later. There was not an ounce of friendliness in his tone or expression during this entire exchange. It’s also unreasonable that room service is once every four days and the reasoning behind that is because of the pandemic. I understand that we are able to request for extra room service if we called and asked but for a 4 star hotel, I expected room service to be more frequent. Additionally, I haven’t stayed in a hotel that didn’t offer 2 bottles of complimentary water before so that was another unexpected surprise. We booked two rooms in the group and had 5 people in total. However, we are only allowed to rent out 2 beach chairs each day because we were given one rental card per room and that can only allow you to rent out one chair per room even if you have two or more people in the room. Lastly, I was woken up a couple times a night because I can hear the room next door turning on their water facet. I’m not sure why the noise was so loud that I’m able to hear it at 5am in the morning… Overall, I expected more from a four star hotel and was left disappointed. I hope there will be changes in the future after this feedback.

Pros: staff and service are very nice! Nothing to complain about them. And my room on the 10th floor was very quiet, which could be rare for a hotel in Waikiki. Cons: rooms are old, moldy, and a bit dirty; weird design (closet in the bathroom??). Not very comfy. For the resort fee you can only rent one chair for the room even if you have more than one person. I feel for the same price and location there are better choices on the next block.

Good customer service by hotel staff, location is perfect, clean maintained hotel is really good, ocean View from room is great too but not many choice is breakfast which really worst part of restaurant at hotel, not even lunch or dinner have choices also it’s expensive for guests too, No buffet for even members, wifi doesn't work that good. 5 min walk to beach & shops perfect as well. Pool is really small & area around too only can fit max 5-7 people, No sauna or spa in hotel. Old style rooms from inside need to upgrade & renovated. Good to have tours & activities desk in hotel. I personally doesn't feel that great paying huge cost per day according to service I got it. Overall I would give 3 rating.

Was very impressed with our stay here. Hotel is well mainly and clean. The views from our mountain view room were breathtaking. The staff was very nice and professional. Great location and close walk to food and shopping. They even offer beach chairs and beach towels to use during your stay (major plus in my opinion). Short walk to the beach, less than a mile. Really great value for what you pay for. Hotel rooms were very quiet. Rarely heard other quests. Will stay here again on our next visit. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family who are looking to come to Hawaii.

The service we received at this hotel was phenomenal... one of *the best* hotel experiences I've ever had. The servers in the M.A.C. restaurant were all fabulous (we ate there 3 times), and the restaurant manager, Ray, helped make room for an ice pack in the freezer so my mom could store her insulin properly for the long trip home. The housekeeping team was also wonderful, bringing in a shower stool without being asked after they saw that we were using the outdoor side table. I didn't even know that shower stools were an amenity you could request! The room had a great view and the bed was super comfortable. My only critique is that the carpet in the room was sticky all over... I just wore my shoes the whole time walking around the room. The service is really where this hotel shined though, and I would absolutely go back :)

Can't say enough about the staff here. Hands down, the staff is second to none. From the valet to the front counter, some of the nicest people you will meet. Really need to give a shout out to the housekeeping staff. I have traveled the world and can say this crew ranks in the top 3 of all my stays. Thanks for keeping my room so clean and comfy.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time and it is still great. I must say that Front Desk Agent "Kit" was very helpful with a question we had and she gave us an excellent corner room on the 35th floor. We usually stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village but I think we will stay here at the Hilton Waikiki Beach going forward. We like the location, the pool, and the restaurant. Thanks for a great stay. See you next year!

A little dated with its decor and presentation. But that is only a minor detail. Compared to the larger Hilton Hawaiian Village this is a lot less hectic and more relaxed. Our room was a deluxe king room w mountain views and was spacious well appointed and comfortable. The other side has views of Waikiki beach which is only a block away. One pool one restaurant and one bar seemed to be sufficient for the amount of guests here during our stay probably because there's plenty of options as soon as you step out of the front door. The concierge desk ably handled all of our activities and there were no disappointments. The only negative was that being so close to the beach you only receive access to one complimentary beach item per room, for a major chain like the Hilton you should receive daily access for the duration of your stay.

The hotel is located conveniently 1 street off Waikiki. Very nice staffs and services and nice amenities (beach towel rentals, 1 free surfboard, good room services and cleaning) The only downside to this is the parking. Parking comes at $39 a day (not including tips) and allows you to go in and out freely. It is just a hassle to take out your car from valet every time you need to go out. But good and fast valet services. Wish self-parking is available.

Very friendly and attentive staff and a perfectly acceptable home base for a Honolulu/Waikiki visit, with good views in all directions. It is in the most convenient location for both beach/shopping/restaurants and local/outdoors experiences. The restaurant is unusually good, which is a plus when you need to eat but do not want to have to go anywhere. The pool area is fine but can be skipped, especially because there is not much in the way of shade provided

I got a great AAA discount for this hotel. First off, the location is just perfect. It's right next to the beach and around so much of the nightlife in Waikiki. It's so easy to go out and eat at one of the many restaurants in the area or to go shopping. The hotel has the M.A.C. 24/7 restaurant on the first floor that offers great breakfast options. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. The rooms themselves are spacious and have comfortable beds along with a nice bathroom. I was on the fifth floor and had a fairly nice view of the ocean from the balcony. I highly recommend this hotel if staying in Waikiki.

You'd be lucky if you get Sabrina. She was the representative we encountered during the check-in process. We felt blessed when we continually had the good fortune to run into her. Good luck!!

Great hotel close to the beach, convenience store across the street, good dining in MAC24/7 and other local options nearby. Parking is convenient, but adds &39 a night to cost of your room. Also I do not understand the resort fees, you don't get anything from those fees.

My wife and I visited this property for our first anniversary and we were greeted by Carolyn at the front desk. She made our stay so nice just by being happy and so welcoming. She was super helpful and really gave us everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Also, for trips around the island, Zach at the "trips/excursions desk" was SO helpful and very knowledgeable about the island and gave a long list of things to do, and they we great recommendations and contributed heavily to our stay and time in Hawaii being absolutely amazing. It is truly a pleasure to meet such kind, welcoming people and everyone in hospitality should mirror the behaviors and attitudes of Carolyn and Zach. Thank you so much for making our stay special!
