I can't say anything about the food because I didn't order any but when we sat down the waitress was very unfriendly towards us. She demanded us to get a can of beer while we just wanted a few separate beers. Kept reminding us that it "wasn't a club". The prices were on the expensive side but fine, the jack Daniels serving was tiny. Not a pleasant experience overal!

Horrible business, ate some spareribs. However they where dry and absolutely disgusting. Is the food here even checked by some kind of other 3rd party business?

Very rude staff, I do not recommend this place at all! I decided to leave before I even ordered something, because the waiter made me feel very uncomfortable.

Service and cleanliness weren't the best. Food tasted like it was pre cook.

I know this place has mixed reviews however my experience was very nice. Staff was asking me if everything was fine. They were kind. Place was clean and nice decorated with an extensive beer list and a tempting menu. I chose salmon and some friends chose the famous hamburger which was delicious. My salmon dish was very fresh and very well presented. The sauce for the salmon was too much and unnecessary. I strongly recommend this place.

The staff here are very rude, we had 2 men waiters both rude. The waiter added a tip to our bill without asking. When we asked it he put that on everyone’s bill he said no only some and asked if we wanted to remove it. Food unseasoned, did not even eat the tomato soup that I ordered.

Good a.y.c.e. ribs deal - tho it started excellent & got weirdly greasy later (still good but less so, no idea why). Very pleasant guys, good service,good banter, in English, Dutch & probably others lol. Wide selection of beer. But: Extremely expensive beer too. 11EUR is too much for a 500ml glass. There is one "cheapo" option for 7.50/500ml ouch!! (Probably normal in Haarlem these days?! Daaamn, I need a raise if I ever move there!)

Very good place for a quick and tasty lunch. Friendly and funny staff. Been there several times, never disappointed.

Touristic place, but still very cosy. Nice staff and delicious glühwein. Price food ratio is ok, not the best.

A great bar / restaurant on a lovely square. Staff were very friendly and professional. Good selection of wines and beers. The food, although good didn't live up to expectations however it was a very busy evening for the business.

Nice getaway from the cold with amazing cakes and dutch beers. Be sure to get the fresh mint tea

Maybe other food is better but the ribs are just OK and nothing more. The salad that comes with them is a joke in my opinion. I would have expected a bit more for the price (~19€). Staff is nice and friendly.
