One of the best things that we have done in Haarlem. What a delight to take this tour on a warm, sunny day. The captain of the boat was very knowledgeable.He spoke abt about the history of the city as well as shared fun stories and facts It was wonderful to know about unknown facts about Haarlem. Definitely visit , if you are around or new here 👍😊❤️

This was a wonderful tour with our family. Jerome was fun, insightful and a great host for this 90min boat trip through Haarlem. The boat is beautiful and a real highlight of any Haarlem visit - don’t miss out. There are two options: you can either join the regular scheduled tour or book a private boat which makes perfect sense if you are a group of more than 6 people

Wonderful canal tour of Haarlem. The guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about his city. He translated in both Dutch and English and gave a thoughtful description of the sites using a map to guide us around the canals and river.

I would give six stars if possible. Very well entertained. Mr. Jeroen Hagen always provides clear explanation in english thoroughly altough we were the only couples, who don't speak and understand dutch. Mr. Jeroen has good sense of humor and very nice story-telling. It was a nice experience for us to know a little bit of the history of Haarlem as First-Time-Visitor. I would recommend this Canal-Tour to anyone. Thank you.

We had an incredible experience with Haarlem Canal Tours! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable adventure that I can't recommend enough. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly our guide, Jeroen. His passion for the history and beauty of Haarlem's canals was infectious, and his knowledge made the tour both educational and entertaining. The open boat used for the tour was the perfect choice. It allowed us to immerse ourselves in the surroundings and take in all the sights and sounds of the picturesque canals.

A small boat which means you'll go through the smaller canals that the larger tour boats can't enter. A friendly and well informed captain that will give you not just historical information but advice on the best restaurants and even real estate. Little touches like offering blankets when it gets chilly and asking about your day made this the best part of my day. A lovely way to see the most important sights in Haarlem.

We enjoyed a superb tour around the canals of Haarlam this week with Haarlem Canal Tours. Being in a smaller boat meant we could access places a larger boat couldn’t, and as part of a small group of 12, we could all hear the informative and very interesting commentary from our engaging Captain, who delivered his talks and answered questions in fluent English as well as Dutch. We had a brilliant time and cannot recommend him and Haarlam Canal Tours more highly!

Jeroen was exceptional! I wish there was a higher rating than 5, because he definitely deserves it! Jeroen, thank you for giving us a special experience in Haarlem. It was a last- minute decision to include Haarlem in our itinerary, and, luckily, you had a cancelation. We were on the 1:00 p.m. tour on Sunday, October 8. Very knowledgeable Haarlemer captain. Jereon knows the city inside and out. Bring your own picnic or pair your ride with his recommended lunch spot at the end of your trip.

Highly recommend going with them! Jeroen is charming and has encyclopedic knowledge of the individual houses/buildings, architecture and history of Haarlem (and The Netherlands) creating a very interesting tour. Not to mention providing an insider's guide of places to eat and drink. And the smaller boat makes it all the more personable!

We had a lovely time on Jeroen's boat. It was a lovely, smaller tour- with such informative and interesting information. Jeroen was able to give us a real insight into Haarlem, on a comfortable and dynamic setting. 10/10- highly recommend doing this tour.

A wonderful evening, the tour was great value for money and the history of Haarlem and it’s architecture was really brought to life by our guide. Highly recommend this experience for all visitors to the beautiful city of Haarlem. We learnt so much (we’ve lived here for a year!) and we’re also able to enjoy our own picnic with friends and the fantastic summer weather. We can’t wait to go back again!
