An absolutely beautiful railway station. A perfect blend of old and new. Architecture: (5/5) Beautiful castle type of structure towards the front and a more modern cladding towards the back. The interior of the station is also beautiful in respects of the trusses and the restaurants and stores also are housed in some older buildings inside. Connectivity: (5/5) It’s close proximity to Amsterdam ensures that there are plenty of trains that travel through this station. The station is also on the long route to Den Haag and hence goes through a bunch of smaller stations towards the coast. There is a bus station right next to the station. Facilities: (5/5) Multiple stores inside for food and regular shops. Has lifts and also has bicycle parking outside. Summary: (5/5) Such a great railway station. Beautiful and well connected.

One of the few railway stations in the Netherlands that has retained and maintained its magnificent original interior. Truly spectacular!

Pretty little station. The majority of the building is behind the ticket gates. There are two separate hallways on the ground floor that have entrances on both sides. They both go to all platforms but something to keep in mind as you might find it confusing! There are a number of small shops dotted around the outside of the building, and a very large amount of bicycle parking. Inside the station there is a small gift shop and a library.

The most beautiful station of the Netherlands! Easy to navigate, plenty of facilities, and well protected after dark. Good connections with the busstation in front of the station. Kiss and ride at the back and a huge monitored bike storage.

I love Haarlem, its like amsterdams architecture on steroids, less tourists, older buildings, looks scary and beautiful in late evening, kindof poetic

The streets are cleaned daily. The illumination of the main Street is beautiful. All branded coffee shops are available in this beautiful part of Amsterdam.Well connected with other parts. Great location. When you visit Amsterdam, you should buy a train ticket for €5.9 and come to Haarlem and take a walk in around the city.

a beautiful station resembles a railway station, a typical German layout of railway stations, but a big plus you can get everywhere from tat in the Netherlands and to Belgium or Germany, UK or France πŸ‡΅πŸ‡±πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸ€—

This is the main station in Haarlem. The station building is very beautiful with full of history. The platform is large and there are lot of trains heading to Amsterdam centraal and Sloterdijk. There are also some gift shops and snake shops in the station building.

minutes walk from the main sightseeing area around Grote Markt in Haarlem. There are numerous trains connecting to Amsterdam, making a day trip to Haarlem very convenient when staying in Amsterdam. The original station dates back from the early 19th century. The current building was constructed between 1906-08 and features Art Nouveau features. The exterior is nice and we particularly enjoyed the platform area with its unique and interesting architecture, brick structure and wooden framed windows and facade. Give the station a quick look-see if you enjoy architecture before rushing out of the station to spend your day of sightseeing around Harleem.
