Went to The Lobster Trapp for dinner with the wife. We both had a great lobster dinner which was served with baked potatoes, salad, vegetables, and desert, also had the greatest rum punch. The food and service is five stars.

The best succulent lobster in a magical setting with excellent service. It was a perfect evening with 20 friends. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They opened for us. I will not forget my experience at the Lobster Trapp in Hopewell. You must go!

The lobster trap was an amazing place. It has the potential to be so much more. It's a beautiful location but they have trash piles and its hard to walk on the rocks. It was a bit over priced, I'm sure b/c we are Americans. The food was awesome and the service was good until we paid. Now understand we paid extra and tipped everyone really good! But it took them over 30mins to bring us a to-go container. So if you go I don't recommend paying until you're about to leave. Also, Rooster the yard -boy was very nice and entertaining!! It is a place you can eat and swim in the ocean.

My husband and I ate there this past weekend and absolutely LOVED it!! The food was delicious, the view was beautiful and the service was great!! The meal was 3 courses and all were simple and really delicious. The salad was fresh and yummy as were the local veggies. The lobster was DIVINE, chargrilled over pimento chips to perfection. Not to mention it was the biggest lobster either of us has every had. And the secret clarified butter recipe was out of this world, we were literally licking the bowl. Followed up with the yummiest dessert of coconut ice-cream and plantain pudding of which we could have eaten and entire plate. We are both foodies and picky about what we eat and we HIGHLY recommend this spot for an amazing meal!! We can't wait to go back next time we are staying at Round Hill.

Such a magical setting on the edge of the ocean - intimate, romantic, and always blissfully private (have seen max 1 other couple eating at the same time). Warm, family operated service. Fresh, perfectly prepared, subtle, authentic food that is literally all we want to eat when we are in Montego Bay. We would (and have tried to) eat dinner there every day. It is far more delicious and better priced than the fancier hotel restaurant near by. Highly, highly recommend!

If you like lobster, this is a must stop. Fresh catch of the day (caught by long-time owner) is excellent. Setting is rustic but authentic and magical. Oh, and best rum punch on the island!

A really special place in Hopewell that opens just for you and serves up some of the tastiest lobster you’ll ever eat. Must call ahead for reservations as they seemingly open and close on demand.

The lobster was amazing, perfectly cooked and the owners made us feel as part of the family. The place has an incredible view. Definitely need to go!
