The old place closed down. Someone new bought it and he is the rudest dude ever. Do NOT patron his business. Place was empty, probably because he has done a terrible job marketing (impossible to find Instagram), is super rude, drinks are overpriced with gratuity included, and the bar itself has no character. Terrible bar. Do not go. Can’t say it enough. He freaked out at my friends and me, preemptively assuming that we were taking advantage of him and trying to park for free without buying anything. Threatened to tow us all. Wild. EDIT: the owner just responded. Looks like he got control of the google maps loc too. Don’t let his Mr. Polite Guy act fool you. He’s riding on the coattails of the previous place’s reviews. If you’re looking for a bar, check out any of these great spots nearby: Betelgeuse Betelgeuse, Cantina Barba, or Holler Brewing. And bartenders, servers, waiters, etc. - do NOT apply to work here. I would HATE working for this owner. Go look at the negative reviews for “Breakfast Bar of Minnesota” if you don’t believe me.

This was the first stop on the new Culinary & Cocktails Brunch Tour Bus sponsored by Let's Do This Houston, and it was amazing! The party was already started on the party bus so when we arrived at the Breakfast Bar it was lit! There is plenty of seating indoors and out. They have games available as you can see, we played Jenga. The cocktails were strong yet flavorful and the food......the bomb!

Excited to see that the bar had reopened! Was even more excited to see Alex still behind the bar since he always took care of us prior to closing, but these drink prices are not it. $30 tab for 4 domestic beers is absolutely crazy. I can’t imagine paying downtown prices when there is no other bar in the immediate area. Hope this changes soon!

Wait time was ridiculous. It took over a hour for a drink. Served me on a paper plates, wings(small but fresh) and French toast (cold), but I was hungry, so ofc I ate. A lady at my table wasn’t served until 30min after everyone else received their food! Too many large parties seated inside. Even if it was because of the weather, large parties are noisy! Could barely hear the person I sat across from. That should be limited for the inside especially because it’s small. The waitress didn’t have much experience , or it seemed so we showed grace for her. The restrooms were unisex. Didn’t like that. When we saw them come from outside with food uncovered….we’d already finished eating. It was prepped on a food truck, which is fine, but at least cover it. Possibly why my French toast was cold. The music, well it sounded like one busted speaker. Not sure what kind of audience they are trying to reach but a lot of work needs to be done Pronto.

Lovely place! I can’t complain about the total on my tab considering how many drinks we got. Relatively empty for now as the bartender (didn’t get his name!) explained that they just reopened and are trying to get people in slowly with just the looks of the place. Good drinks and mixes, with lots of variety. Their infused vodkas are a must try! Will definitely visit this place again.

Went today after church (Sunday). Great food, service, outdoor environment and experience, live music, Black owned. The biscuits = amazing!! I will be back!

Stopped by for brunch. Service is aces and the food is awesome. Loved the jerk shrimp and grits. Lobster and waffles got an approval from my friend. My group also enjoyed chicken and french toast, chicken and waffles and a breakfast sandwich. For drinks we really liked the aunt ginny

An Amazing Experience and Unforgettable Celebration Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my 47th birthday at Breakfast Bar HTX, and it completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked through the patio archway, I was impressed with the ambiance, the service, and the overall experience....and so were my guests. First, to be going through minor renovations, the interior created a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly gave it a matchless vibe. The new owner, Rashawn, and staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my visit and ensured that I had everything I needed. Rashawn went above and beyond to make my evening truly memorable. Speaking of the menu, we did not explore food options, HOWEVER, the drinks deserved a "chefs kiss." And, the music, music was great. The dj for the night played excellent music. We shuffled a few tables and created a dance floor. We danced and danced and found ourselves thoroughly entertained throughout the evening. Overall, my birthday celebration was a remarkable experience and unforgettable evening. I highly recommend Breakfast Bar HTX to anyone seeking a venue to celebrate a special event, let their hair down, have a few drinks, laughs, hooka with friends....WHATEVER....this is the place. I am certain I will be returning soon (next time for the food 😁).

The food and atmosphere are amazing. The jerk shrimp and savory grits are the best flavored food I have tasted in a while. This is a place everyone needs to check out. The owner Rashon is the best and they have a small cigar lounge outside as well.

New owners are super nice, they have new food coming November 15th breakfast food all day, can't wait to go to the grand opening!

One of my favorite spots in Houston. Spring Street has the BEST, chill atmosphere, table games, indoor & outdoor seating, AND a great drink selection. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a relaxing evening with friends- It'll become one of your favorites, too.

This place is a vibe. We came for Sunday brunch and although a little early it filled up quick. Diverse crowd, DJ, dranks, and games. Indoor/outdoor to cater to the weather. TVs to watch the games. Will definitely be back. Shout out to Nai for the outstanding service and family atmosphere!

Went here yesterday evening with my cousins from out of town and we all had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere completely… I will be going back for sure…

Just had a social gathering there, it was the perfect place and atmosphere. Drinks were great, and the food truck was awesome too. Perfect bar for an afternoon drink!!

This is a place that my son and I call the happy place. It is a great place to go and have a few nice drinks and catch up on what is going on. We have never had a bad experience. The staff and the owner made us feel welcome.

Music was enjoyable mostly 90’s r&b which I love. Played some Jenga while I waited for my food. The chicken waffles ordered from The food truck in front was delicious. I will definitely be back. The Cabernet I ordered was full body and good. Thank you for a great first experience .

This place is never busy. But the drinks and food truck is good. I go here when I want a chill night. Hopefully they make enough to stay open I like this place 🤷🏻‍♂️

Such a beautiful place with super friendly people. Great outdoor sitting with swings and cozy chairs. A pet friendly place which is a plus. Clutch City Tacos ( food truck there) has delicious, juicy all halal burgers. The Chicken tacos are also very good. Especially when topped with their homemade salsa and sauces.

Love the bar here! It has a great aesthetic. Not the biggest fan of the food trucks that come here though.

Matthew is best bartender ever! So friendly and nice! We had hummus and chicken pizza, both were fresh and delicious! Drinks we delicious, and great happy hour prices😁would definitely come back!

Great place and nice patio. The male waiter was quite rude on two occasions not only to our party of 4 and 6 respectively, but also to every table we observed him interact with. In fact there was a dialogue between tables regarding his apparent attitude. But other than him, the place is great. They do need to bring back the frozen drinks.

We had my bridal shower here. Honestly AMAZING venue experience from top to bottom. Great communication, reasonable cost, amazing service (the bartenders even helped lug present inside when it started raining). It was a beautiful Sunday brunch and I would 1000000 times recommend this location for a mid size event.

Located very close to serval hotspots yet walking distance from several neighborhoods, this place has easily become my new favorite hangout in H-Town. With inside and covered outside seating, this space gives off a very welcoming feel of being able to order a drink or two and sit right down at home while watching a game on TV or playing a board game. And the staff is absolutely awesome. Tell Alex at the bar what you like and he may just create the best off menu cocktail just for you. I've only visited a couple of times but this is definitely a must whenever I am in the area now.

10/10 experience.just moved back to Houston and We were driving and I heard the band playing and we just had to come see. The vibes were vibing! The band was amazing, food was great (catfish and grits was HITTING), hookah was smooth and our waitress Ari was so attentive and so nice. We’ve experienced a lot of waitresses be standoffish at places like these making them a turnoff but she was so nice and super helpful and patient with the menu and it being our first time. the food and service alone was 10/10. Definitely will be back :) also band said they are usually there 1-4 Saturdays
