This place was pretty busy at lunch. The food and drinks were extremely slow to come because they have one waitress behind the bar working her heart out. There was one guy helping her but it was pretty much just her. Under all of the pressure she did her best. That was the only reason I gave two stars. She made me a great virgin Mojito. The food was mediocre at best but It’s in a great location in Midtown If you want to go to the bar and have a drink. I ended up here because it was next-door to my Massage Therapist. So I was like let me try this out.

From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Menu clearly labeled gluten-free options. When I told the waitress Laura I was gluten free she let the manager Haas know and he came over to the table. When I asked questions the Chef Steve came out and inquired what I was looking at and he made suggestions. I ended up ordering the blue crab nachos with a brisket taco on the side. Steve personally prepared my meal, which was delicious. My husband who is not gluten free ordered a combo with a cheese enchilada and chalupa, he said his food was also delicious. Both Steve and Haas came to check on us. They even brought us flan on the house for dessert. Everything was so fabulous! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I came for our 26th Anniversary. Austin was an awesome waiter. Very attentive and friendly. If you come here ask for him. You won't regret it.

The food and service were excellent. Rubi was our server and she was fast and attentive. We made it in for happy hour and tried the house margaritas and they were excellent! The ceviche was so good and fresh. The queso with taco meat had amazing flavor. We couldn't decide on what to get so we tried the botany and the brisket empanadas were so yummy and full of flavor. Can't wait to eat here again!

Came here for lunch. We were seated quickly and server was attentive. Started off with the La Esperanza cocktail which was delicious! Highly recommend. Ordered the botana appetizer sampler and chicken tortilla soup. The soup was good; would recommend. The sampler was ok. Few items were good; others were overcooked and dry. Not sure I’d recommend. Overall good experience and service was fast.

Pre-Wedding dinner celebration and the food and drinks were amazing ! Service was a little slow but that gave us some time to chat a little bit. I definitely will return whenever I'm in Houston.

We ate at this restaurant and everything was fantastic! Nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. Our server Maria great! The manager Hass friendly, he came to our table to make sure everything was good and had a friendly conversation with us. My husband said that the brisket enchiladas were the best he has ever had. When we are back in town we will visit this place again.

Really good tex-mex food tucked in the spot in Midtown, we had fajitas and margaritas but I wish I had more space to try everything. Good sit-down restaurant, highly recommends

Shoutout Victor and his team at cyclone anayas for allowing our Bike & Brunch tour to visit their location. All the staff were amazing with great customer service. We will definitely be hosting another bike ride soon!

Our waiter Erick was very polite and informative. The food was amazing and plenty for the value. We may come back. But enjoyed this visit very much. Brunch options were great!

Stopped in and grabbed a couple of drinks and dinner at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered the spicy salmon with brussel sprouts and rice with charro beans. The salmon wasn't spicy, but had a great flavor with the mango sauce. The beans were actually the star of the show, I don't usually eat beans, but these were so flavorful. Great place to stop in and the prices are reasonable and portions large.

The only reason I did not complain was becuase I was with a group of people. I went there last night and everything I ate was terrible. The rice was uncle Ben's par boiled rice... which is not Mexican rice.... the pork in my pork tacos was dry and the veggies were passable but that wasn't saying much. The salsa tasted like pace canned salsa. I will never go there again it was terrible. 2 tacos on a cold flour tortilla n a drink cost me 40 dollars.

Great shrimp quesdillas and lemon drop. Please include a drink discounts during brunch hours for a few cocktails, Thx🍸 Last but not least I asked my server if there were any drink specials and her reply was "no". After leaving I read there are .01 mimosa refills on Sat/ Sun before 3:00pm..

Food is hood and prepared fresh. I enjoyed the empanadas, cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. The crab nachos lacked crab meat this time but I still like them. Delicious chips, guacamole and salsa. Service is excellent! Adult drinks fantastic! Brussels sprouts and fajitas were delicious too!

The food and service was mediocre at best. This location won’t be receiving the typical five-star review I give other Cyclone Anaya’s restaurants. My order was incorrect, lacked flavor & the chips were very soggy and hard to swallow. If you want food that tastes microwaved, this is the place for you. There was also a wet roll of toilet paper in the bathroom.

Total satisfaction... the ceviche here is the BEST I've ever had. I wanted to try everything. Not pictured nachos with cheese, fish tacos, and the chicken quesadilla. It was good also. The drinks were amazing. I tried margaritas and the old fashioned. Both were good, but I settled for a few old fashioned.

Parking: There is about 20 spots, so go during a slow time. Price: Expensive. Happy Hour is cheaper, but the food is bite sized. Meaning, it wouldn’t fill up a baby. Food: The food tastes great, but ask about size before you do. Service: Initially it was great when we were the only ones. Then it went downhill. Drinks took 20-30 minutes as well as food. No topping off the water. Rarely clearing old plates/glasses. Took 15 minutes to get my check and another 15 to bring back my card. Bring Cash!

This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with cyclone Anaya! I’m still trying to find the rest of my crab for my nachos!!! The corn is in abundance which takes away from the dish 🤦🏽‍♀️. The salsa was placed in a small container and it didn’t even come half way up the container! I was so dissatisfied with my lunch😡. Plus they had the nerve to forget my tortilla soup with added chicken🤷🏽‍♀️.

Dining at the outdoor area was quite a delight. I must commend the courteous and attentive service that we received also. I enjoyed the combination fajitas which were served sizzling. And it was great to get two of each side which made sharing much easier.

The initial greeting was very friendly and we were seated and waited on promptly. Our server Sergio was the greatest. This was our first time here and he recommended some great choices. I ordered guacamole to go with the chips and sauce it needed a little salt in my opinion but it was still good. I also had a lg margarita $10 during happy hour. And a cup of tortilla soup which was very tasty to me and my main course was the Pollo Jalisco which was great but the chicken could have been a little more moist but was still great. All in all great restaurants. Forgot to take pictures.

Great happy hour prices! The flautas are pretty good and the margaritas are $5 during HH.

We've been coming to Cyclone Anayas for years. Best margaritas in town. The food & margaritas wouldn't be as enjoyable without the great service from Marlene & Miguel. They really make the overall experience. Jose, the GM, has made a big difference since he started. The patio is looking good!

Love this location, the servers are always great! Today we met Josiah and it was only his 2nd day! We couldn’t even tell, will continue to visit this location because of the service. Food was amazing as usual.

Let’s start with the IMPECCABLE service from our waiter! I mean top tier! They was amazing. I forget their name but they wore black glasses & had black nail polish. Supper sweet ! The atmosphere was a good chill vibe. The food was ok. The best thing I had was the chips and salsa! The salsa was great if you love spicy food. I had the blackened fish and a small margarita (do not get the small go straight for the large. I should have listened to the waiter lol) . The fish was bland, the radish slaw mix on top the fish over powered the fish. I took it off & added the salsa from the chips. The drinks were really tasty to me. The people I dined with stated that theirs was a bit on the sour side. I did not mind it. The prices are fair.
