Today my coworkers and I had lunch here and it was a pleasant surprise. They had taken the concept of a buffet style lunch and brought it to the table. I ordered the Murgh Korma as my main dish and it was delicious ! One thing I noticed that I don't normally comment on was how good their iced tea is. I will eat here again !

If they'd open the lunch buffet back up, they'd get a lot more business including mine. The food is good albeit a little pricey. However, I don't like the 1 plate they give you instead of letting you choose what goes on it. I don't like everything. I mean it's not a bad concept when they shut the world down with COVID. Now we're over the pandemic and everyone that wanted a vaccine has got it. Bring back the buffet please. Everyone else's buffet is open and they're doing just fine.

It's very rare to find a building structure that's decades old and still in mint condition. Nice furniture and very impressive two level floor plan. The owner seems to have passion for fine cuisine. Again very rare to find everything so tasty. They close at 10 and I arrived with my friends at 945 p.m. At first we though we will either be turned away or served stale left overs. But contrary to what we were thinking, the staff was so welcoming and cordial. Made us feel very special and brought out a fresh food. A very nice place to hold large parties or corporate get togethers. We are definitely going back and I highly recommend it.

We had the lunch thali which are lunch sets with many small dishes. Everything tasted really good. The lunch sets would be good if you’re interested in trying many different dishes. There are many vegetarian options as well.

No open buffet, but you get served plenty of food for lunch. The vindaloo is SPICY, as it should be. Good spot. $20 lunch.

The staff was very warm and welcoming! The food was delicious and you can tell it was made with love. I absolutely loved every aspect of my lunch and can't wait to go back. They have this sampler for lunch and I highly recommend it. A little taste of everything.

I've been coming here for many years (sometimes weekly!), but since they got rid of the buffet, it just isn't as enjoyable. Yes, the thali platter offers a small amount of several things, but it doesn't offer much of my favorite things. I used to love getting the rice pilaf, saag paneer, vegetables, and curry on the buffet, but now I have to settle for a small amount of things that I do not especially want. I would love for the buffet to return.

I’m not an avid Indian food guy but I’m definitely open to learning and exploring… this meal was definitely a great start!! I’ll be back!!!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was 10 years old, so two and a half decades! I keep coming back for the chicken korma and garlic naan 🫓!! My favorite was on Sundays when the restaurant had buffets I’d go with my family after prayer and just spend the time talking laughing and enjoying time, this restaurant also looks like a ball room inside being very traditional and sets you in your roots in India and if you we’re thinking of WEDDINGS! THIS WOULD BE THE PLACE FOR A RECEPTION!! and just a mile or two down the road is the Bay Area park for the huge ceremony!! 10/10 THIS IS THE SPOT! I’ve seen tons of poor review of this restaurant being closed in the middle of the day for lunch, however I think that is the price you pay for having a very authentic restaurant that’s great in quality, they take 30 minutes to an hour to be who they are the authenticity speaks VOLUMES!

I hate to say it, but I will not be returning here. First and last visit. Not for lack of food quality, but lack of manners. Our party of 11 was seated on time for a 7:30p Friday night reservation. Appetizers, then main courses, and on to dessert, at which time the waiter became suddenly obsessed with snatching plates and making it a point to let us know that the kitchen was closing at 8:30p. Why accept a reservation for 11 one hr before closing?? Decide for yourselves, but having worked for years in both front and back of house, I understand the nature of how tiring the work is, however never is it wise to make your customers feel they are a burden. I merely share my experience, some may not agree, and that's ok. Caveat Emptor...

Our server was very nice, he helped us with the menu as we’re not super familiar with Indian food but are very open minded when it comes to food. I ordered the chicken tikka masala platter, I can’t stomach spice too well but I still ate most of it (I expected it to be spicy, so I’m not complaining). The naan was fresh and extremely tasty. My boyfriend got the lamb curry, and he cleaned his plate! Scooped up any remainder of his dish with the naan, absolutely delicious. It wasn’t too busy, there is a lot of seating. I will definitely be coming back.

I wish I could review the food but I didn’t even get it! They did not secure their Uber orders, they let a random person steal my food and refused to remake it. And when I said someone stole my food they said a family member picked it up, and they’re refusing to remake it. None of my family members knew of this order it was through Uber, my driver had to tell me they wouldn’t make the order. After all this they ended with hanging up in my face. Learn customer service please and have a blessed day.

Absolutely delicious. I did not expect something so good on this stretch of bay area blvd. Had the murgh korma lunch special which comes with many delicious extras rivaling any buffet for variety.

Thali is great, but the lunch buffet (available Fri-sun only) is WAY over priced for what it is. Mostly vegetarian, pretty basic dishes in the buffet. Skip the buffet, enjoy the Thali on weekdays.

Couple weeks ago Mogul Catered food for 35 people to celebrate our friends 80 birthday. Food was very tasty, Freshly made and excellent taste. Visitors from New York and California were thrilled to taste great food made by the owner himself with love. Hats off to to Mogul and see you all soon.

Amazing authentic flavors. Was so delicious! Was skeptical at first because the outside but don't be fooled the food was so worth the 30 min drive!

I dislike leaving a negative review. 1. The curries are excellent I have been a regular for years. They are difficult to catch open during the day. You might catch lunch, you may not, as the kitchen will close 30 mins to an hour before their stated hours. 11am-2p Twice now, I have walked between 1pm and 2pm and told that the kitchen was closed. I stated that I will not return my custom there. I go a significant way out of my time and schedule to go there. After twice making the trip, only to be disappointed? I cannot trust them.

Really great food. Please be ready to sit and enjoy a leisurely dinner. They seem to be staffed sparingly so it takes time for the food to arrive and things to be picked up or dessert brought out. Super excellent quality of food and kind staff. Enjoyed it.

Actually ended up coming here on accident as the first place we wanted to try was too crowded. But I am honestly so happy we ended up here. It was quiet, clean, and oh so amazing. The plain Naan was absolutely delicious and pliable. The Keema samosa was the perfect combination of crispy soft and warm with plenty of protein in the mix. The kimchi was a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The curry options were great, I don't remember what my friend ordered but the flavor was amazing. The sauce itself was heavy enough to be filling on its own. So glad we came across this place and we will definitely be coming back.

This beautiful restaurant is so well taken care of. Each time I visit I’m greeted with a smile. They’re so sweet and answer any questions I have about the food, the history of the food, etc. I’ve met the owner a few times and we chatted about many things, particularly the amount of food that is typically wasted on a daily basis in America. It really changed the way I order food. So much hard work, love and care goes into each dish, and the presentation and quality are 100% perfection.

I recently dined at a buffet that left much to be desired. The variety of dishes was disappointingly limited, and the price was very expensive. The quality of the food didn't justify the high cost, making it an overall unsatisfying dining experience. To make matters worse, the limited selection at this overpriced buffet also suffered from poor taste. The dishes were bland, underseasoned, and lacked the flavors one would expect from such an expensive meal. It was a truly disappointing culinary experience.I would recommend looking elsewhere for a better value.

Excellent. Best food in town. Everything that was on the buffet is now on 1 plate! Perfect. So happy with them we are leaving this review as we eat :)
