Honestly I can't say enough about this place!!!!!!! I happened to want some fried chicken strips and searched door dash and found this place. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!! Holey moley this place was OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! First of all my food arrived HOT and DELICIOUS!!! The fried chicken was DELICIOUS, the mashed potatoes with brown gravy was the BEST I've ever had from a restaurant!!!! Seriously!!!! The creamed corn was AMAZING! They included the honey mustard I asked for which was TASTY! Everything had so much flavor, it was perfect! Honestly I'm just blow away how great this place was!!! THANK YOU!! ♥️

I love the patio at this location. It’s so nice outside under all of the trees. I bring my coworkers here for lunch fairly often. Such a great selection for everyone. They have the VERY BEST fried chicken chicken!!! Add on the jalapeño gravy… it is one of my favorite dishes ever!

On a Saturday, they were busy, but the line went quickly! It seemed many graduates had events to celebrate. Parking lot was full, but the free garage was directly adjacent. The peppery onion ring sauce was the real star of this dish. the onion rings themselves were fried and seasoned well. My hamburger with Cheddar cheese was juicy & the embodiment of a good burger. The fries were crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. My husband finished off his chicken fried steak within 15 minutes. The gravy was a miss for him, but luckily he asked for it on the side. We will be back! Atmosphere -lively

Mia’s Table is a family favorite. Very friendly staff and consistently good and quick service. They have really gotten the concept of fast, casual dining down. The burgers are always good, as is the chicken-fried steak. The steak salad and turkey burger are surprise standouts. Don’t miss their strawberry lemonade. There soft serve included with your meal and that is always a hit with grow ups and kids. If the parking lot in front of the restaurant is full, there’s an easy (and free) garage next door. Parking is never an issue; even when they’re busy.

Great place to get southern style comfort food and some milkshakes. Excellent buffalo wings, and the porkchops here are also delicious. Also recommend the fried chicken. Free soft ice cream too. This place is a real GEM, wish they had one in downtown to be honest. I would come everyday if I could afford to

Come on say it with me, YUMMITY YUM YUM! I've visited this locations twice and the food was good both times. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food that you get. We sat on the patio. It's family friendly. I am confused about tipping because drinks and Togo plates are self served. Anyway it's a good choice.

Mia’s Table is one of my favorite comfort food spots in Houston. The chicken fried chicken is to die for, and their staff is always attentive and kind. If you want a hearty meal, American styled meal, look no further than Mia’s. You will not be disappointed.

What an amazing experience I had eating here. When you walk in it's as if a sense of joy comes over you because of the nostalgic atmosphere as if I was in my granny's house for Sunday dinner. The food was amazing. I ordered the onion rings for my appetizer. They were crispy and tasteful, the dipping sauce was so good. For my meal I ordered the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac-n-cheese. We got out food within maybe 15-20 mins, not a long wait at all. Chicken (Southern Fried and the Chicken Fried Chicken) Seasoned very well and moist. When I say the skin was seasoned as well as the meat. Even when you order to go by the time you get it home the skin is still crispy. I was able to have it as left overs and reheating it in my toaster the skin was still crispy and meat was still moist. Very good chicken. Mashed potatoes was seasoned as well and very delicious and the creamed corn was sweet and great corn to creamed corn ratio. The Mac-n-Cheese was creamy and cheesy. The noodles were not mushy or hard, they were just right. The bluebell chocolate shake was soooooo good and chocolatey. They give you the extra too. Overall we had a great experience and have returned twice and will be visiting again. It's a casual place to go for a date and a great family spot as well! They also have seating outside like a covered patio. You will not be disappointed, give it

With it's quaint atmosphere, this original family-type restaurant--Mia's Place in Upper Kirby, is a must go to eatery. From the food, to the service and management, we were so impressed!! The 2 individuals that really stood out and shine like the stars that they are-- 1) Manager, Valerie and 2) Amber at the front counter. We were so happy to have found this place and plan to frequent it each time we travel to Houston.

I love this restaurant!!! The food is fresh, comes out fast, great prices also. I ordered the catfish and shrimp with a side of green beans. I think the tartar is homemade! The fish and shrimp was crispy and seasoned perfectly. Overall a great place.

I visited Mia’s on a date. We initially went to Grace’s. Which is VERY overpriced. My date had not eaten at Mia’s before. It was packed when we visited. We ordered a fish and chicken dinner. It was great. He loved it and put Mia’s on his good restaurant list. We will definitely be visiting again.

The experience here is interesting as you order at the counter and then the food is brought to you instead of your typical server experience. I tried the Baby back ribs and they were pretty good, they could have used a bit more barbecue sauce, the mashed potatoes were tasty and so was the creamed corn I enjoyed both of the sides. Overall I think the food is good, the service was okay the servers are very distracted and some would forget about our missing items, but overall it was good.

Came here for lunch with a group of 8. We ordered at the counter and our food was brought to our table. The service was quick and the food was very good. I had Bessie's Taco Salad and it was very tasty.. The parking lot was full but there is a parking garage across the street that accommodates the 3 Carrabba brand restaurants - Mia's Table, Carrabba's and Grace's. They have free self serve ice cream with choice of a cone or dish.

This place rocks. Highly recommended. Though not cheap. The chocolate malt at Mia’s is excellent. And the onion rings, though heavy on salt, good. Not De Weese’s quality. But good . Lunch about $22 with tax and tip. Good batter, but because of the saltiness, I wouldn’t order again though. They kindly made it right by bringing me a replacement burger unsalted and unsalted fries(the salt is already in the onion ring batter). So a big thumbs up for customer service at Mia’s. Five stars. And if you’re okay with salt, definitely try the onion rings.

Casual counter service American fare. Chicken fried steak, bbq ribs, burgers, tacos, salads, and more. I came here because I was craving a decent chicken fried steak, and I was not disappointed. At $20, it beats other higher priced restaurants in Houston serving CFS. It's easier to find a good CFS in a small town. Fun factoid: CFS may have originated in Texas from German immigrants combining schnitzel and abundant texas beef. Food: it was all top-notch. My CFS was breaded perfectly and was crispy, not greasy, and smothered perfectly with the right amount of jalapeño cream gravy (not spicy). Mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Green beans were tasty and fresh. We also had the red snappper fish tacos that were bright and fresh with a side some pretty good creamed corn. If only they served okra! Service: Counter service is where you order at the entry counter, and they bring the food to your table located via pager. Self sevice drinks at a dispenser unless you opt for alcohol or specialty drink at the order counter. Fast enough but not much service to judge from compared to a traditional sit down service. It's hard to rate high when it's a basic service/almost self-service. I will admit they bus the patio quickly so flies are not an issue and the staff seemed efficient and well trained. Atmosphere: Casual and relatively busy. A good family place. We enjoyed the less quiet and less noisy outdoor patio, which was tolerable in the sultry sauna like houston summer heat with a light shower. They do have adequate air movement with the fans going.

This is a laid back and casual diner for burgers. Ordered the hickory smokr burger and it didn't disappoint! The onion rings weren't fresh. You can they had been sitting out for awhile. They weren't crispy or hot, a little soggy. Other than that I'd go back again cause we got out food rather quickly.

Nestled in a sea of ample parking, Mia Table greeted us with a promising setup and aesthetic charm that set the tone for our dining experience. The patio, especially, offered a delightful spot for a leisurely lunch. Our party decided to dive into a diverse selection of Mia Table's offerings. The cheeseburger and fries combo took us on a nostalgic trip, reminiscent of the classic taste from a certain fast-food giant - a solid 2 out of 5. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark of culinary innovation. Moving on to the chips and cheese, the deep taste hinted at a taco seasoning adventure. While it might appeal to some taste buds, it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, earning it another 2 out of 5. Personal preferences played a significant role in this rating. The chicken-fried steak and sweet potato fries showcased Mia Table's attempt at culinary variety. While the concept was intriguing, the execution left us wanting more. A respectable 2.5 out of 5 for the effort put into this dish. Now, let's talk about the onion rings. Visually stunning, they lured us in with high expectations. However, the taste fell short of the visual promise, earning them a subpar rating - a solid 2 out of 5. In summary, Mia Table leaves a lasting impression with its inviting ambiance and scenic surroundings. The food, on the other hand, falls into the realm of mediocrity, with hits and misses that might appeal to different palates. If you're in the mood for a relaxing environment and don't mind sacrificing a bit on the culinary front, Mia Table could be the spot for you.

We ordered curbside, didn’t even get into the parking spot and a very nice, friendly young lady greeted us with our food!! Everything we ordered was packaged nicely and hot. Real southern cooked food…..chicken fried chicken, real mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese were awesome!! Words can’t describe how good!! Don’t forget to get banana pudding……no instant pudding REAL HOMEMADE PUDDING!!! We will definitely never miss an opportunity to eat at Mia’s Table!!

It's a unique place. You counter order, and they bring out the food to you. Very casual, very loud, a great place to bring the infants. The food is tasty. I had the Steak Salad, which is the best I've eaten. Flavors are there and did not disappoint with the steak portion. Good food and consistent wherever you go. Recommended.

We loved Mia’s ! The menu had a lot of good selections. Traditional comfort food for sure. The patio was dog friendly and really comfortable. The server asked if he could bring our dogs small soft serve treats. They loved it too!

I visited this place on a whim and loved every bite. The atmosphere, service, and prep was top notch. I will definitely visit this place again when I come back to Houston. I had a chicken sandwich, and I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the best sandwich I have eaten in years. My date had the steak salad, and it too was full of flavor. Overall 10 out of 10.

This was our first time here. Great first impression! Prices are reasonable. People are friendly. And the food is so delicious. I have been craving fried chicken, but fried foods usually hurt my stomach. Not this time! Not greasy. The macaroni did not disappoint either. My taste buds and belly were so happy last night. I highly recommend this place. There's something for everyone. Don't forget your free ice cream cone on the way out. 😋

Stopped by for a dinner with friends and could smell the food from the parking lot. There was a familiar feel and the restaurant is very family friendly. I ordered a patty melt and onion rings. While the bread looks like your average white bread it was thick sliced, buttery, and toasted to near perfection. The patty melt itself was flavorful, juicy, and really well seasoned. Onion rings were lightly battered yet very tasty and crispy. Overall very pleased with the taste of everything and ordered a daiquiri like beverage which was mild and complimentary to the meal. Will be returning soon hopefully with an empty stomach

Had a great experience at Mia’s today. Enjoyed their tasty fried pickles. For my meal I went with their southern fried chicken which was superb. We look forward to trying Mia’s other menu items on future visits.

This was my first visit. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Platter which consisted of 4 pieces of chicken (mixed) and 2 sides. I stuck with the basics, mac'n'cheese and green beans. It was $16.99. I also had a frozen raspberry margarita which was $7.49. They also have an ice cream machine offering free ice cream as you exit. Overall, it was ok and I will visit again. Oh and Rusty Hardin was there dining on the patio
