Not the best Mellow Mushroom. We have been to this place in Asheville,NC and Greenville,SC and this place has nothing on the original Mellow Mushroom. It’s sad to be honest and the food isn’t that good either for the price!.this place needs to be remodeled and bring the real Mellow Mushroom art back that it was based on..

Here is my dilemma- I love Mellow Mushroom but I live in Kingwood. Today I knew I was going to be in the general area of the location in the Heights, so placed a pickup order for a Holy Shitake. Got the pizza to my car and was so bummed to find out how horribly it was prepared. The sauce that is supposed to be a drizzle was completely covering the pizza even on the crust- that sauce is rich and not meant to be a complete coating. Crust edges and bottom were way overcooked. I’ve been to Mellow Mushroom in four different states and probably seven different locations, and the brand is consistent except for this location. At $14.00 for a small pizza that I had to literally wipe down with napkins, I will not be coming back to this location. Do better. I gave it two stars because the people working up front were very friendly and the pizza was made quickly.

I love this place! Definitely will be back. They have a very well rounded beer selection. As far as food, they have gluten free and vegan pizza. The pizza is amazing! The crust is on point and by far the best part. Everything we had was absolutely delicious.

Came here for dinner with a friend. We came in around 6:30 and the place was almost completely empty. The staff was quirky and even though the place was empty they had slow service. Our pizza was okay , the outside was nice and crispy but the inside dough was almost raw and very chewy.

Greeter was very nice and cheerful. Our waitress was OK, didn't have any recommendations how ever. And seemed to disappear quite often.We had a Sandwich (below par) and Pizza Burger ( not really good) but the burger meat was fantastic! Our child had a cheese pizza, he said was great. So there's that. We asked for some mustard. We got a squeeze bottle that the top hadn't been cleaned since the beginning of Covid. Don't think we will be back. Maybe for the pizza.

I definitely do like this place a lot. The pizza is pretty good and my wife and I love their gluten free crust, you can’t necessarily tell that it’s gluten free, and that’s the point. Only downside with the gluten free crust is it only comes with a small pizza. The wings were very good, no complaints there. Sometimes they will have kitchen issues, like an order not being sent in, but I don’t blame the wait staff. They’re usually honest and very apologetic when something doesn’t come out on time and may offer some type of compensation in the form of a discount or free item.

Thank you for having vegan options! The pizza was so good and I liked how the vegan cheese melted and tasted. Crust and toppings were great too.

Mellow Mushroom has been my favorite pizza since I lived in Lexington 10+ yrs ago. This location is just as good as the rest! I'm never disappointed! I hope it opens back up soon.

Came in on a Friday afternoon. The service was fast. I ordered a standard large sausage and pepperoni pizza. Got the pizza in 17 minutes of ordering. The crust was a little too thick for my taste, although they have a thin crust option, I wanted to see what their standard pizza was like. Not enough pizza sauce on it, again something I'm sure could be changed upon request. The pizza was good but it lacks some flavor. The location is super clean though and seems to attract a trendy crowd. Full bar available, I'm sure it gets lit in the evening hours. Definitely worth a try. Paper straws are given not plastic, which I thought was pretty cool. In summary, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is great and trendy, but the pizza isn't much to brag about.

This place is sooooo good! The three of us got personal pizzas thinking it was not going to be enough if we split a large but we were so wrong! Lol I was only able to eat 2 slices off mine and took the rest home. My husband and sister really enjoyed their unique flavored beers too. It is slightly on the higher prices but it is more than worth it. The decor of this place is very modern with industrial lighting. The people here are very attentive and friendly, it is a very cool place to just chill amd eat with friends. I will definitely come back again and try out their other stuff!

I’m a pizza enthusiast and this place blew my socks off. I tried the spinach and artichoke dip and jerk flavored chicken wings before indulging in some pie. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Delicious fresh tasting pizza, you can tell the dough is freshly made. The different options are all a bit intimidating at first but realizing there are so many choices you've probably never tried, it makes for an exciting prospect! Cool vibe, business crowd during the weekdays, relaxed at weekends. Can't go wrong with Mellow Mushroom, it's a fantastic choice for some unique pizza! 🍕

It was our first time coming out here with my family and we were very excited about it. Once our server greeted us we mentioned it was our first time here and told us that pizza and calzones do take about 25-30min since it’s made from scratch. To start we ordered a spinach dip, which was good. Once we ordered our pizza i took time, and no it did not take 25-30min it took 40min to come out. By that time my son had already finished his food. Pizza was ok, I gotta say it had to much tomato sauce and once we grabbed it, the toppings were falling off. I expected more. Service was ok, our server wasn’t as attentive as other servers that were on duty. Probably won’t be coming back, price is high for what you get. The following are pictures from what we ordered. The one with the tomato sauce was just from one slice of pizza, if you ask me that’s to much sauce. Thank you!
