Really enjoyed the food here, prompt and friendly service too. Packed at 4.30 on a Sunday so obviously popular! Only criticism would be could you have a pale ale from a little, independent Sussex producer rather than the ubiquitous Brewdog?

I was not sure if this is a good place for coffee . But it’s really good here , and they have coconut milk. Very friendly stuff , nice atmosphere and interesting old style interior

Lovely cafe/bar/restaurant. Great atmosphere and comfortable design. Flat entrance for access. Food is good, great milkshakes too! Staff are friendly and it's very relaxed. Could do with turning down the music - difficult to hear if you're near a speaker

Blooming great, never been before but would definitely come back as would my guests too. Lovely atmosphere, staff and best of all the food. Great quality and not served cold.

This is one of those places I've walked past so many times and thought.. Must give it a try... This past weekend my wife and I stopped in... So glad we did. We shared 6 tapas dishes which were all delicious. You get 3 for £12..Service was friendly and welcoming... It's got a great vibe. Seems really suitable for all ages including those with little ones. Will certainly visit again soon.

The food is nice, although not particularly special. Our favourite is the breakfasts which would be my recommendation for going. Especially the lounge eggs. Where its let down is a few things, the cutlery is cheap, not nice to hold, and often marked. The glasses often aren't completely clean. The eggs are often under cooked. But om the file, the service is great, the decor is interesting, lighting low level and good atmosphere. Worth a regular visit if your looking for a medium dining experience.

A very tasty breakfast at a good price, mainly we were impressed by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The staff are hospitable and it is easy to order via their QR code. We will stop by for dinner next time!

I visit Modelo Lounge often mainly because of the extensive gluten free menu. I am a particular fan of the Lounge Gluten Free Breakfast. The atmosphere is friendly - dogs welcome. Staff are always lovely. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous working breakfast. Love (and loathed) the fact that I could see the calories. Love the decor.

Love the lounges. Love the eclectic feel and that you can use it for different activities - a quick coffee and catch-up, lunch, working on your laptop, cocktails in the eve. Also love that you can order on the app - great for my autistic brain.

Classic place. Menu keeps updating including new dishes. Friendly staff and food at reasonable prices. Very busy on the weekends difficult to get a table if it’s a bigger group. Also has board games. Can use the mobile application to order food to your table. Parking is tricky as it’s on the Main Street.

Lovely friendly place. Really good range of food including all day brunch which was just perfect. Haven't been in the evening but the menu looks like good food and a fair range of drinks. Clean environment, relaxing atmosphere. Recommended

This was my first visit here on a friend's recommendation. There was a nicely friendly atmosphere. It was busy and is clearly very popular. I will be happy to return another time. The staff were attentive and polite.

I have been to a few Lounges around the country, and I have never been disappointed. On this occasion, I had the Vegan Biryani Bowl, which was amazing, a bit spicier than expected, but very tasty. I recommend getting the flatbread to complement it. The staff were friendly and the service was very prompt. I will definitely visit again when in the area.

Great service, friendly staff and good food work great vegan options. We tend to order via the QR code site and before I've put phone down the drinks arrive! Super fast service and the good is always tasty and well presented. We've visited several Lounges restaurants and they are all great. Modelo Lounge is our local, and our favourite! We highly recommend it.

We practically live at Modelo, for several reasons... Food - the variety is amazing, which is especially important with a child and a vegan on board. The vegan and GF menus are extensive and all the food is made with love. Staff - every staff member seems to have been hired because of just being a really good person. They couldn't be more welcoming, helpful, gentle and warm. Drinks - always a good selection of tasty beers and plenty of stuff in the fridge for the kid. Atmosphere - it is lovely and cosy both in the summer, with the big windows, and in the winter with the off beat decor and lamps. Games - although quite a few are missing bits (!) there is a lot of stuff to play! Thanks Modelo x

Great menu and superb food. We had a selection of the Tapas which was amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. You can order at your table on the App or at the counter - either way service is quick and efficient. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Highly recommended.

I love Modelo! Been here a couple of times to get some work done. Staff are very friendly and make sure you’re comfortable. Good breakfast/ brunch & lunch menu.

We have been going as a group since Covid. All of a sudden now refused to take our booking when they are usually quiet. Turned down people who are easily spending £20-25 a head. Go figure. We have always enjoyed the food which they have a wide variety but all of a sudden, last time was layden with salt. They admitted one chef uses not enough and the other uses to much. A shame as we loved hanging out there but now been turned away. Booked elsewhere now. Shame. End of an era. Lost respect for the place now.

I love this place. There is a wide selection of different cuisines so perfect if you can’t decide on a place to eat! Also a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Hot day so popped in for a lovely lunch, really nice and cool. Served by friendly staff. Had tapas a a couple of cold beers, my wife really enjoyed her mocktail. We will be back. Thank you

Went three times to eat and each time had a problem. First time food given was not what I asked for even though I repeated more than once. Coffee was cold and half full. Maria the general manager was brilliant and understanding gave a full refund. Second time four of us went for food again problem when food arrive not what was asked for sent it back. Given toast with no butter that was asked for just jam then gave a tub of melted butter that was rancid not good complained again. Paid and left. Then decided to give another chance breakfast was cold sent it back Was brought out another breakfast the waitress used her cardigan to carry the plates left the original cutlery on the menus we had to ask for fresh cutlery. Not hygienic in any way as should of used a r towel or clean serviette. Will definitely not go back and not recommend

Go here a lot. Lovely ambiance. Food has always been top notch. Really good breakfast ingredients! Slightly spendy but it’s justified! Only suggestion would be a child free dining area as it’s a bit off putting having 4 children playing Hungry Hippos while your nursing a hangover 😂

The staff in general were very attentive to our group. They helped me decide on a good meal while I server Lydia stood out and made sure we were catered to. Even in her busyness she kept us all pleased with a smile. Thank you all

Good food and staff very pleasant and helpful. Not really a real ale place, but a small decent selection of beers. Plenty of other drinks available, I'm just not a cocktail person. Wine seems to flow well. A really nice atmosphere, great background music at a volume that you can still have a normal conversation.
