πŸ‘πŸ‘ Dont be in a dilemma because it's a 'dhaba', the food and ambience parallels well to that of any standard family restaurants in Park Street. The place is neat and clean. The waiters are extremely polite and attend to all your needs. Very much recommended. People often mention Dhaba, Grewal, good, Chicken, chicken, Howrah, taste, Corn, order, dhaba,

Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka and more at The Grewal Dhaba in Howrah.! The long trails by the highways, the taillights flashing up far ahead, the wind breezing past the face, a journey off to the Neverland; there is something intriguing and mesmerizing when it comes to taking to the long roads away from the hustle and bustle of urban chaos. The best part certainly lies hidden within those little shacks off the side of the roads, the truck drivers pulling in, aroma beckoning the senses of hot piping rotis, Dal and Chicken, relive a similar sensation now closer to your home. For those living in and around Howrah, make a visit to Grewal Dhaba to taste the plumpness of savouring Dhaba food right near the comfort of your home. Located bang on Upper Foreshore Road, this upright glass building is hardly a sight to miss. Quick service, delicious foods and a pleasant experience is what you would walk out with after tasting an array of delicious and scrumptious dishes at The Grewal Dhaba. Besides the quintessential North Indian fare, one can also taste desi Indo Chinese delicacies to the likes of American Corn Pepper Salt, Chilli Garlic Noodles and Sing Loi Chicken amongst others. For a rather conservative Dhaba food, do not miss out on Panner Tikka, Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani with hot and freshly baked Hara Lasooni Naan. A must place to visit, make a trip today to enjoy the warmth and freshness of Dhaba food at The Grewal Dhaba. #thegrewaldhaba #whenstomachtickles

Extremely miserable experience, waited for 30 mins for my order and after that, when we asked very politely about the status of our order, a waiter named Madhav replied offensively and asked us to cancel our order if we couldn't endure the delay. Even after asking him to speak politely as we were also doing the same, he continued to talk in an extreme offensive and rude manner, post which we ultimately had to cancel our order and leave. Didn't expect this kind of a behaviour from such an old restaurant that we have been visiting since so many years.

When food is Bae at Grewal Dhaba In an age of pseudo modernism, where fine dine defines class and finesse, the definition of comfort food still remains at the very periphery of borderline simple and rustic. Talk about Dhaba food, which certainly fits the bill. The sudden rush of adrenaline feels like an instant spur, the tall and sturdy cots, flavours emancipating from the butter laden Dal Makhani, the aroma of kebabs evoking the senses, how about finding one such place closer to your home without the need to travel far-flung to one of the distant highways. Where? Choura Bustee, Shibpur, Howrah, West Bengal 711102 What is it about? A quaint roadside dhaba off the lanes in Howrah, Grewal Dhaba is one place which believes in simplicity and warmth. Minimalistic ambiance, unpretentious decor and most importantly lipsmacking food are a few pointers which describes Grewal Dhaba in a nutshell. While the focus lies mostly on North Indian food, owing to the demand, one can find an array of scrumptious Chinese delicacies served on a platter. What can you expect? Hara Lasooni Naan Paneer Tikka Butter Chicken Dal Makhani American Corn Pepper Salt Veg Chilli Garlic Noodles Sing Hoi Chicken What you can't miss? Paneer Tikka - Cottage cheese cubes marinated with spices and grilled in hot tandoor - served with onions and mint chutney. Dal Makhani - Lentils boiled and cooked with ghee, simmering down until it breaks apart to a delicious thick goodness. American Corn Pepper Salt - Boiled Corn tossed in butter with pepper, salt and spices for a lipsmacking starter. #dhaba #grewaldhaba #shibpur #howrah #indian #tasty #tikka #oriental #konizfoodwheels

Grewal Dhaba : a very well known and quite old name for Howrah people 😍 Grewal Dhaba, located exactly on main Fore shore Road (Shibpur Bazar area), so no difficulties to find the place and a very common dine-in restaurant for us Shibpur people. They have plenty of options in veg and non-veg as well as in North Indian and Chinese. One thing to mention specially is the their quick and prompt service. Though it is named as dhaba, but it is well furnished and the roadside view here will give you proper dhaba-wala feelings 😍 Now coming to food, had tried: American Corn Pepper salt, Veg chilli garlic noodles, Sing hoy chicken, Hara laasoni naan, Paneer tikka, Butter chicken, Daal makhani. Over the years, Grewal Dhaba has excelled in the food quality and portion is more than sufficient in comparison to price. So many of you may already have tried Grewal Dhaba; but for the people who haven't tried yet, just go and enjoy

A simple dine-in restaurant with pleasant ambience and delicious food. Definitely a go-to-place for casual outing. Been here in several occasions. Service is slow at times. Chili garlic cheese naan, kadai paneer and dum aloo punjabi are a must try.

The butter chicken is no where close to butter chicken but it is ok if not mislead by the name. Chicken pcs were hard. The waiters are not ready not to accept any flaws. Tandoor roti was sad. Sorry but I'm never visiting this place ever again.
