Ambience - excellent Kid and pet friendly - yes Staff behaviour - very good Food - good Food presentation - excellent Drinks - improvement needed Manager - Need to brush up his guest handling skills thoroughly starting from scratch We were told that the outlet was 3 days old when we visited in 24th Dec night to make a reservation for Xmass lunch. We arrived on time and were the first guest at the outlet. Greetings and all other formalities went smoothly till the very first food item arrived. It was Nachos with chicken salsa which had a very long black hair embedded nicely between small chunks of chicken pieces coated with dressings and nacho chips. And that was from my 10yr old son’s plate. So whatever aesthetic value that particular dish was holding prior the discovery of the long strand of hair, went for a toss and our mind and eyes constantly searched for foreign objects in the remaining items that were served. Even the Italian seasoning resembled grit on the basil leaves scattered on pizza. So we discarded all the leaves as we had doubts about their cleanup of leafy veggies. The mocktails had huge ice cubes which had filled 3/4 of our glasses and little of the juice/ syrup/ cordial. Taste was just okay. Had it been happy hours or one plus one offer; we would not have minded the price. But simply paying for coloured iced water - not acceptable. ( see pix for level of ice amd size of ice cubes) There was no sour cream ( though was mentioned in the menu) and so we had to opt for simple french fries. The chicken ceaser salad, the tex mex chicken sizzler was good. The tantalising aroma of the sizzler was appreciated. Clearance and layout was prompt. However, drinking water served on the second round had smell of spirits which we realised after taking a sip. We didnt drink. ( afterall it advisable not to drink water immediately after your meal 😊) Now what the manager could have done to make our experience better apart from being apologetic & sending replacement ( which took another good 15mins time and kept us waiting) was to simply waive off the haired item from the bill or to offer something complimentary ( a brownie on the house could have made the kid happy) or to generate a discount voucher for next use. He did none. May be it didnt occur to him that the guest may look for flaw in the remaining items to come when they had screwed up with the very first item with the first guest. That had ruined the fun of our xmass lunch and our peace of mind too!

The item you must have to try from Durga Puja menu are: Butter Garlic Mushroom, Veg Chop and Chips, Non veg Chop and Chips, Tandoori Prawn, Luchi and mutton, Paneer Kofta. Their ambiance is so good and has so nice decoration.

The pork dishes were nice. The locally brewed beer was nice. The DJ and the dance floor seemed lively, though we weren't the dancing types. Lots of books present for those going during the day. We sat in the balcony, which is nicely shielded from the loud booming DJ music and allows for good conversation. The view outside was awesome.

A good place to hangout with friends or family. This place has two sections indoor and outdoor and quite spacious. I choose to sit in the outdoor section which was really amazing , the decore was good, ambience was good and as situated in the 7th floor you won't feel hot sitting outdoor. Coming to food , I tried effin veg pizza and some gold old hobey stem ( don't remember the name properly) food was tasty, the server gave us some tester to taste beer, the reason of giving only 3 star to it because of the service which I personally didn't appreciate much because the server kept on roaming and staring at the guest in order to take the order. I understand it's a part of his job but atleast do not make your guest feel awkward by staring at them to give the order. Next coming to price, food price is okay depending on the place it is situated but to my amaze they are charging 0.2 for all tester. Why ? Isn't tester should be free. Why to even add a penny on that. There are others also who give testers but didn't add a rupee. Then when we asked for the bill they have charged for the bottle of water which we didn't even broke the seal. When we asked the waiter to remove the charge for water he was telling the bill has been made now cannot be changed but when we said let us talk to your manager then he said I will remove the charge and give you a fresh bill. At first Why did he tell the bill cannot be changed once made. Does he trying to fool his guest or trying to spoil the reputation of the effingut or what the reason is that's unknown, service was not acceptable however the receptionist lady was very professional and soft spoken.

Very pretty place. Quirky decor. Courteous staff but a bit late service when crowded. Other than the dessert we liked all the food including the kebab platter, fish and chips, thecha chili pork (highly recommended) and alfredo pasta. The chocolate mud pie's crust was a bit dry and hard. The overall menu prices are tad bit expensive . Overall it was a pleasant experience and I look forward to my next visit.

In love with the ambience 😍😍 decor is really eye catching. Coming to the food, we had a kabab platter and tandoor chicken wings . Both were decent ☺ but I think they should increase the portion of the kebabs, according to the price it was moderate. Otherwise it's really great. 😃 Hope to visit again soon☺😌🎉

One more pub in the park street location. Its the chain from Pune and Mumbai. Its spread over a huge space and had some open space to chill too. The view is good and the place is buzzing with young people. They organise lot of events like stand up comedy etc. Its a good place to hang out with friends. Food is decent and drinks are good.

A very pleasant experience.. We went for lunch and the food was really good. Mr. Amit guided us very smoothly throughout the menu and also suggested a very good starter.. He suggested the craft beer which tasted really good. The food was very tasty and on point with the textures.. After the starter, we ordered New York Style Chicken (Sizzler). It was very tasty, although the chicken was a bit stiff. Mr. Vicky spoke with us and offered us some compensation but we didn't need that as overall everything was good. A very good place recommended for good food with a great view of the city-scape.

Visited the place on a Tuesday evening. It has a nice ambience with the option of outdoor seating. Effingut has a long list of food items and beverages on their menu. We tried the following items during our visit: - Mango Habanero Wings - Tempura Prawn Uramaki - Baked Bhetki - Virgin Mojito - Virgin Cosmopolitan The food and beverages were top notch. The chicken, the prawn and the fish - all cooked perfectly. However, the pricing of the items is on the higher side, which may restrict some of us from visiting the place frequently.

Went there in the evening with a small group of friends. A great place to have fun if you have a large group of friends. I am generally a quiet fellow so that's why the ambience was not up my alley. They had live music, which was a bit too loud, and some games to play as well. You're absolutely going to love this if you want to have fun/vibe with your friends. Now, coming to the food. This was the most impressive part for me. The cocktails tasted lovely and so did the starters. The Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Skewers were amazing. The Paneer Tikka was really nice, contrary to a lot of places. But, what stole the show for me was their Kerala Chicken. That was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Theircservice still needs an improvement. Moving on to the food, the flavors and presentation were nothing short of exceptional. The kitchen at Effingut Brew Pub demonstrates culinary expertise in every dish. I had the pleasure of sampling their famous chicken wings, which were flawlessly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with a tangy and addictive sauce. The pizzas were another highlight, with thin and crispy crusts topped with fresh ingredients that burst with flavor. The menu also features a variety of Indian and international dishes, all executed with finesse and attention to detail.

Great place to hangout with friends and loved ones. The view is breathtaking. The food is very palatable. We ordered Mexican fish crackers which was their signature dish!! Chicken wings with Jack Daniel's sauce and Belgian Baby Back Ribs along with a glass of Penicillin was an amazing combination. Lastly Spicy Pepperoni Chicken Pizza to sum up our experience at Effingut!! Their customer service is worth mentioning.

Served by Mr. Amit and Mr. Rajiv and both knows their job well. They attended us so well and made us feel comfortable. The food was good. We don't drink but the food was really good. We tried tom yum veg soup, good old Lotus stem in honey chilli sauce and sushi avocado, the servers explained us well when we were confused with sushi items. I wanted some krutons with the soup but as it's not in the menu I was skeptical to ask. Then I asked for it and Mr. Rajiv got it for us. Thank you for being so humble and hospitality was superb. Thank you effingut team and keep growing and keep going with the same flow.

Such a cool place to hangout with friends and family. The food was excellent and so was the service. I had non veg platter with beer which was awesome and also Cocktail Effin Gin and Tonic tasted heavenly. Other items Chicken Makhani Pizza ,fish tandoori were just too tastyy . 😍🤤 Chef also made us a special yum pork dish 🤤🤤Most interesting was they serve masala popcorn as chakna. I was full and happy 😊

Effingut Brewpub - Park Street is a great place to enjoy delicious food and drinks with a stunning city view. The restaurant offers a variety of cuisines, from North Indian to Continental to Oriental. The cocktails are refreshing and well-made. The service is friendly and attentive, and the ambience is cozy and elegant. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I ordered cheese garlic bread, Piri Piri fries, cheese mushroom bits, Alfredo penne, pizza Mexican veggie, and cocktails included effingut gin and tonic, a bath with strangers, I love Yuzu, and a large glass of Caldera.

Not a Roof top pub but has amazing view from 7th floor. Drinks are awesome and also Hookah is available. Food choices are also ample ans adequate for two persons. Service is outstanding. Our Waiter Vicky took personal care in serving the food and drink in correct order and on perfect time. I recommend to visit once. It's quite spacious and they have interesting decorations.

The last time I visited Effingut was in Pune several years ago and was really impressed by their home-brewed beer and food. So when I heard about their foray into Kolkata, I was excited to pay a visit. Went there last Sunday and had a really great time. Right from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and really comfortable. I’d specifically like to mention Miss Duggu who was always courteous and served us with a smile. As for food, we tried Tangra chilli pork, effin fish n chips, half-rack of effin ribs and a lime soda. The food was great, especially the ribs, with the meat easily coming off the bones. Overall, I’m really glad that Effingut is here and I’d love to keep visiting.

The place is pretty spacious with an outdoor seating area as well, which also serves as the smoking zone. There was a live performance the night we had visited, which wasn’t really up to the mark to be honest. Coming to more important things, food is okayish .. so are the drinks. Service is a bit slow and we had to follow up multiple times for each order. Staff is polite, well behaved and we also got complimentary shots which was a plus. Overall, this place has been a good experience.. however, we had higher expectations and there is a lot of room for improvement.

Good to see a spacious space come up after an array of 10 seater 20 seater 30 seaters across Kolkata. What I liked is that in spite of its space you can still find personal cosy spots in this brewery pub. The food is delicious and cocktails are amazing!!! I enjoyed walking around and exploring the space that has sofas, chairs, seating arrangement for big groups and also couples. The place would draw a matured crowd so lowering the volume of the music just a little bit would really help!!! The bath with a stranger cocktail and creamy herbed pizza is recommended!!! Some drinks not all have special offers on ladies night on Wednesdays after 8. Location is superb right opposite Hard rock cafe in park street in Magma house complex.

Visited this place for the very first time 😊 and I really loved the place.. the ambience, service, proces and best of all the Kizomba workshop that happened there on the day I visited.. Lucky I was to be there and learn some Bacchata by none other than Hitesh Salsawala and Priyam!! Them adorable Dancin souls can literally make anyone fall ❤️with this artform. Amazing food with good ambience and friendly staff. Good Continental cuisine and fusion cuisine. I'm definitely coming back again. Prices may be a bit on the higher side, but with swiggy or zomato Premium, can get up to 30 % discount.

A big place with a very american vibe. The food was really good with generous portions. The sheesha was also okay. The staff was very friendly and service was also fine. Their brewery is yet to start. Totally worth a visit.

Lovely ambience and staff! Though a little overpriced, Effingut is as good as it gets. There was stand-up comedy when I went, the bar served custom drinks to my taste, and my friends had a good place to dance and chill at. I would recommend Effingut over any club on Park Street anyday. The views from the smoking area (and the men's washroom) are to die for. 😊

Effingut is highly recommended to visit! . First of all their way of reception and such attentive service really won our hearts. A big shout-out to every staff member present there! We were mainly looked after by Mr. Vicky who had a very polite and comforting nature while he served us all the food and drinks. . I went there with my family in Poila Baishak's Lunch. The place is really great. The ambience, lights, soft music just sets your mood. They even offer a rooftop experience as well. . Next coming to their food - they have a wide array of cuisines you can choose from. We ordered - . Mocktails : Virgin Cosmopolitan Tiki Time Virgin Spritz . (Each of them was extremely Refreshing) . Food : Chicken Popcorn Mexican Fish Cracker Chiczzaw Cheesy Murg Kebab BBQ Chicken Pizza Hot Chocolate Mud-pie . Every food was extremely tasty, having an unique taste and was really worth it. . Atlast gonna say that I am definitely gonna visit there again and would recommend others to do have a visit there!

Absolutely great experience in terms of food, ambience and service. We visited on a Monday and had a great time after office. Highly recommend to try delicious dishes and some unique cocktails!
