Amazing little English bookstore! Most books don't cost much and the owner is nice. The shop has a nice atmosphere with books up until the ceiling and comfortable light. Will be my go-to bookstore from now on.

Love this bookstore located in the heart of the trendy neighborhood Prenzlauer Berg. It contains a good selection of both new and used books neatly organized by themes or authors last name. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We have been to a couple of bookstores in Berlin and felt we like here the most! Will definitely be back soon 😊

Oh! Great bookshop with great and positive vibes. Friendly staff. They are also so quick with online replies. I got the book I was looking for. Also so convenient to reach as it’s few tram stops from AlexanderPlatz. Man. Now I say goodbye to all online book stores. This will definitely be my go to place.

As I was having a walk today on a Saturday, went inside spontaneously. I have been looking for secondhand kids books lately and here I found the perfect book for my friends’ kid. I bought a poem book for myself. Had an encounter with the owner/s -as I assumed, and they were lovely people. I have seen a wide range of books. I would recommend.

Probably the best bookshop in Berlin with English and second hand books. Love their curation, I always check their front windows and the middle sections. If you wanna ask for a specific book, you can write them. Love, love, love it.

The place is my safe haven - everyone behind the desk knows a lot about books and have a genuine passion for reading, which they wear very lightly on their sleeves :) You can find any and all books or place an order if they don’t have something - and getting lost in those sections is a great way to spend time. Great care is taken to keep the floor-to-ceiling stacked bookshelves organized in an easy and intuitive way. This place is basically a book lover’s paradise! I recommend that anyone and everyone check it out.

I love this place. It smells like books, feels like it’s been lovingly curated, and I have found many books that I’ve been looking for here. If you are ever looking for specific books in English, the owner is super friendly and patient in helping you find the books or ordering them for you to pick up. Just what a bookstore should be, which is sadly a rarity these days.

One of the best used bookstores I've been to in a good long while. Great selection of used books, and when I brought a new copy to the counter to buy they actually remembered having a used version and offered to swap it out to save €5. Fantastic place.

Lovely place that truly smells like books. New book stores usually don't. It's in this shop's organized chaos and creased spines of the books you find the spirit of reading. The staff is kind and helpful, just like their customers. The books are in good condition. You might not find a specific/niche book directly. But if you have a reading list, you will find one of them at least. Obviously more popular books are easier to come by, like they had multiple copies of the Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, almost a full Camus collection... And some others are harder to find. But I think I will take in the spirit of the beautiful chaos of this place and let luck decide what book on my list I am reading next. Definitely coming back. St. George, you are beautiful!

You can find so many books here, and they're categorised very well (so you can easily browse them). They have both used and new books, which is amazing, on a range of topics.

This store has a very big collection of used English books and new books as well. So therapeutic! ❤️📚 Plan atleast 2 hours of trip there to go through all the well organized stacks. The owner of this bookstore is so friendly and helpful! 👏

Came here twice a soon as I moved to berlin. Amazing bookshop with a great selection of books, both fiction and essays. You'll find what you are looking for :)) One of those places that make you want to stay for hours. Highly recommend if you are looking for books in English (they also have plenty of 2nd hand titles) or just for a cozy place to escape the freezing streets of Berlin for a bit!

St. George’s is regarded as one of the premiere English bookshops in Berlin, unfortunately I find that it leaves much to be desired. The selection of fiction is alright, albeit occasionally spotty. The major downside is that the pricing is wholly unreasonable. Aside from that my experience of the customer service is hit or miss. Often I’ve found the books I assumed I’d find here in other antiquarian bookshops in Berlin at considerably more favorable prices. Therefore I tend to avoid this place. Also at peak hours it’s really a zoo.

great selection, wish the used books very organized a bit better (known authors/classics and more random books are mixed together, making it harder to find specific things). prices are good!!! adorable vibe and nice staff

A really good selection of books -- the history section itself is well worth a visit! Definitely recommend going there. Even if it takes a little longer to get there, the area has a lot to offer as well!

I really like Saint George bookshop until tonight. I usually have a great service with Paul but today it was a complete different experience. There was another person in the shop called Hans. First he kept customers waiting outside in the cold because he was smoking. I brought many fictions books to give as Paul suggested me the day before. But this man was yelling that this was “Bullshit”. I’ve never experienced such an erratic, hysterical behaviour in a shop. Specially after Paul’s great manners. I would suggest to watch out whom you hire, this person was not mentally fit.

Lovely bookshop in a country where you can barely find English books. They have new and secondhand books, all of them very well organized! I enjoyed the sci-fi and fantasy section the most, as they got a nice assortment of them. The fiction section was quite large and I saw titles I haven't been able to locate in other secondhand shops. Definitely a must-see if you want to get lots of books in English :).

Second Hand and new books mostly in einglish. If you don’t find it ask, they can probably order it. Really nice workers too! The bookshop feels also really cozy and it is very cute ☺️

I love this shop! They always manage to find me the most obscure books that have been out of print for years in a matter of weeks if not sometimes just days. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and loves to read! Cannot recommend it more highly!

Very pretty library with tons of english books to take. Very cozy and a very charming woman running it. Me and a friend told her she had the place very good looking and she said that they are very happy with how it is. Very good experience going and also not expensive at all! Fun fact: they said they even hosted a party once there and the woman said it was very cozy as well. Lots of stuff and very well taken cared of, recommend!!

A great place to pick some second hand books. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Some amazing children's books available here.

Lovely bookshop with a wide variety of used books. The fiction is alphabetically sorted. All other sections are denoted by their theme (poetry, popular reads, children's, etc.) There is a small selection of new paperbacks, which are cheaper than at other English language bookstores in Berlin. The staff is friendly and strikes up a conversation with the customers, providing insight on the purchased books. A very positive experience, I will be back.

Very friendly service. It's super cozy and since it's a second hand shop they have many different book to chose from. All books are english. There are high shelves and a ladder, which gives it this cool retro feeling of bookbrowsing.

👍👍 Beautiful store with many floors that can satisfy any of your needs. We purchased some great magnets and books from the international section as we don't speak German. Harry Potter fans will find some hidden gems here ✨ There are also many gift ideas, teas, funny and smart gadgets if you need some...
