This place ia beautiful. So many crabs and birds to see. A great short walk and it pretty cool as there is shade almost the entire time. It a slow paced walk and look, the only annoying part is the tourists who are trying to run through it and being loud. There is no enforcement of no plastic and quite. Sadly. There is no entrance fee and parking nearby!

One of the best mangrove swamp walk in Thailand. Worth a visit! It is approximately 1 km walk on mangrove bridge. You can start by going from the left way, if you choose the right way, it will be difficult to spot the distance marks. There are resting areas every 200-300 meters. The best spot is the watch tower. If you are a nature lover, you MUST visit! Highly recommended!!

Very interesting walk through the mangrove forest, along a well maintained, elevated wooden pathway. The path takes a circular route, about 1 km total length. There are a few benches to sit on, should you want to take a rest. Be sure to climb the tower for a panoramic view. Entry was free, a nice bonus. One pleasant detail - nearly the entire route is shaded, which made for a nice change from an otherwise sun-baked day. Toilets near the entry were very clean, and there's a stand selling drinks just outside the entry too. The only disappointment was that although there were numerous sign boards explaining the plant and animal life within the forest, they were all in Thai language. Be sure to bring your translator app if you want to learn more about this forest.

The place is amazing! I think I know how giants felt walking in a forest. There's a 1km route thought the mangroves which will take about 20 to 30 minutes.

Great place for relax. Forest Park is well taken care of and not expensive for camping. For camping is just 50thb per person, this is supposed to cover electricity however there are only a few electric access points that actually work. Also be careful of ants nest, must check the ground properly first. The annoying thing is that the electric only works from 6pm to 6am and they leave the white bright lights on all through the night!!?? This means it feels like your sleeping in daylight.

You have a full Kilometer of boardwalk through the Mangrove swamps. I was there early, around 7.30am and had the place to myself. Plenty of information boards on the flora/fauna of this area, but unfortunately not in English which was disappointing. Aerial shots looking directly down could almost be mistaken for looking at a moss covered stone until you recognise the walkway running through the sea of green. Unlike the Sam Roi Yot Park, this Mangrove walkway is free and much longer, though the lookout tower is closed for no apparent reason. There are boat trips from a jetty around the Mid-Point of the walk, but I was too early to see any boats. Costs for boat trip, upto 4 people 450Bht, upto 6 people 500Bht.

Adore this Forest 🌳 The mangrove walk is free to enter and is really lovely. You can spot little crabs going about their day and some are really colourful! The mangroves are amazing and near the end of your walk there is a beautiful open section of the path with a viewpoint, amazing for photos!

Quiet = 5 Stars, Beautiful to the Eye = 5 stars, a coffee stand close to the beach ⛱ at Park Headquarters , plenty of shaded parking = 5 Stars. The only negative was the occasional plastic debris/ garbage that was easily visible everywhere where the tide had left it. A small group of volunteers could easily manage the clean up, perhaps Park personnel could help, even campers and visitors can do their share. They would need the larger lidded blue bins placed every 33 meters or so.That said, it coild become a 5 Star local/ visitor treasure ! ( We hope )

If you like walking in nature, then it's worthy to take a visit since it is free of charge! A forest beach on one since and a 1km trail to walk along the mangroove forest. For us it was more of a romantic walk in nature and you can grab a fresh coconut ice cream and coffee to chill... ☺️

Arrived morning of late December. Weather was great. This is great short walk. The walkway is made to respect nature so you’ll see cutouts to make way for the branches to naturally grow. Unfortunately, it was a high tide and failed to see more crabs and fish however we saw some slugs and a bird. Don’t miss the observatory which is about after 600m. Extremely easy walk but not handicap friendly. All of the information boards were only available in Thai. Would have loved to learn more of how the ecosystem works. Would gladly return to spend more time by the trees and beach. Sad to see a lot of trash by the beach.

It’s a nice free walk around the mangroves, and paying the crabs a visit. There is a boat ride tour for a fee, that cost 450-500 baht. Understand that if you are heavy built, they boat drivers may ask that less people can go for the boat’s safety. This would also be a nice place to teach your child how to bike, provided you bring your own bicycles. I didn’t see any bike rentals around

Plenty of parking spaces and no entrance fee. The sightseeing path was a 1 km walk and would take you 40-60 mins depending on how you stop for sighseeing along the way. The path is well maintained. We went there around 11 AM on a sunny day, most of the path is covered by tree so is not too hot.

Pran buri Forest Park is a national park in Prachuab Khiri Khan province. It is not big, but has a good view of the beach and mangrove forest. It has picnic tables near the beach. Entrance is free.

Found this on Google maps and thought would visit. Glad we did, the walk around the raised forest trail is exactly 1km. Very spectacular trees all around you, that are hard to capture on camera. Raised area half way around that provides amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Well worth a visit.

The National park was a treat! And the boating trip is a must do when there. Do wear good shoes as the trail is long. The pranburi sea that's part of the national park was amazing to see!

Quiet elevated walk through the mangroves of the Pran Buri Forest. No shortage of different species of crabs throughout the walk. Plenty of parking & clean amenities including restrooms at the entrance. Signage says no food or drinks however most people seemed to have drinks as a 30+ min walk in Thai heat without fluids may challenge some.

its a 1km easy walk along a wooden platform. as you walk it tells you every 100m. you can see lots of crabs, birds and plants. there are lots of sign posts that tell u the species of all the animals and trees. the trees provide a lot of shade however I recommend going in the morning.

A unique opportunity to walk in a mangrove forest and hunt the untouched nature. An ultimate experience for me as a painter. Even a boats trip is provided.

Really nice 1 km walk through the mangroves. The Pran Buri national park is free to entry and it is small so you can't miss beginning of the trail. If you walk slowly you can see many crabs around - in the water but mostly at low branches of mangroves. There're more species - I think six or eight. There's boat ride in the middle of the trail. It was 450 thb/boat (max 4 people). We didn't take the boat, we just walked around. After few hundred meters there's a small lookout tower to see the nature around. Overall beautiful short trail. There are toilets near the beginning of the trail.

Must visit if you're in the Hua Hin area for fans of green places. The 1km walking path feels much longer which is great. If possible make sure to take a boat tour. The wooden viewpoint tower is a great way to see how large the mangrove forest actually is. There's a stall that sells ice cream, drinks, all kinds of snacks and even meat skewers at the main entrance. Just be aware to book transport in advance since it's impossible to get a Grab in this area since it's too remote. Alternatively you can order a Taxi at the beach café Eureka, which is 1km away from the mangrove forest's entrance.

Mangrove forest park. Nice walk even it’s quite hot. Short boat trip is also recommended to see mangrove forest, birds and fishery boats along the route.

very good place and can see and learn how trees are can growing up in salt water I like to see different types of crabs (Perisesarme) only 2.30 hours from Bangkok by car and 20 minutes from Hua Hin.

Nice view and natural mangrove area for walking trail. Recommend to come here if you wish to study crab life. There’re plenty of crabs 🦀 especially many types of carbs too. View from resting point and elevate higher like a rooftop is superb! If you wish to take a boat, please make sure before entering mangrove area, no boat service available; may need to request in advance.

Mangrove National forest that’s well maintained to walk above it. About 1km long and half way there you can hop on the 45 mins river boat. The fiddler crabs are everywhere and you can feed them with the mangrove leafs. The walk is shaded almost all the way.

Perfect place for spending 2 hours of lazy holiday when you are at Huahin. This place is one of the finest national parks for Mangroves. There is also an hour-long boat ride that takes you through the fishing village.

Very nice! Wish there were more paths to take but yeah. It's a very short trip, only 1 km and takes around 50-60 minutes. The price for boats isn't that good 《450 for a small boat and 500 for one that's a bit bigger》 but it's not mandatory. Lots of informative signs and tiny cute delicious looking- animals

Had an amazing time here. Things to recommend: 1. Observe the different types of mangroves with spider like branches 2. look for mud crafts in the water 3. Take a boat ride to see the mangrove on open water and the boat houses and fishing boats 4. climb up the tower to see the forest from the top of the forest 5. Look for monitors in the water 6. Take a deep breath of the good air!

Beautiful place, even in the middle of summer. You can walk the 1km route through the mangrove forest and see a lot of crabs. If you're lucky you might see some of them fighting amongst each other.

A very nice place you can even camping in front of the sea... A very interesting way in the mangrove where you can have a 45 minutes boat trip which is worth it. Lots of animals to see
