Super raw cave experience! If you like untouched cave, than go no further. Take water and flashlight with you and go climb and crawl couple hours. We went out of the arrow's path and explored every corner. Played Indian american flute inside and got the bats mad or happy, not sure... Videos of our adventures in the cave on my IG @ozzzuser

Very nice place off the main tourist attractions. It's for more adventurous travelers. Sometimes you crawl sometimes balance on a ladder, and sometimes you meet a bat or a cricket. There are no lights, so either bring your own flashlight/headlamp or you can rent a headlamp for 14 baht at the ranger. Revard for you will be amazing karst decorations, large domes, adventure, and lasting memories. Your private cave with no other tourists. If you want you can go alone but I recommend going with the ranger. He shows you the path where to step and where not. It's included in the cost of the park entrance fee. So don't forget to keep your ticket from the previous cave or vice versa. Wear proper footwear, NO flip-flops atc! But that goes for all the caves in the area. At the end, I recommend buying refreshing coconut 😉 Instagram @dante4cz

Its a great cave and really worth going there! The entrance is of course 200 bath per person as a tourist! They offer u a boat trip for 400 bath extra! I recommend not to go by boat because it literally just takes u around the corner and saves u maybe 20min from 60min in total for one way of the hike! And the hardest part u will have to do anyway ;) ahh on the way we saw monkeys! Awesome!

The access road (doesn't deserve the name) is intimidating at first. The first time we turned around again. 200 Thb for farangs entry (Thais free). For that, once again deducting a star. As expected, the parking lot was completely empty on a Sunday. The climb to the cave is quite steep, part like an easy via ferrata. In the cave it is sometimes even steeper and more slippery. Not for those with foot problems or the infirm. However, an experienced guide accompanies you. Several large vaults, some of which only have to be "crawled" via very shallow entrances. It is also advisable to bring your own headlamp and, for those who are safety-conscious, a helmet. Overall, an experience that justifies the price of admission.

We did the Kaeo cave with 2 adult and 2 kids (aged 9 and 11). Getting to the cave and being in the cave is physically challenging and I would not recommend for smaller children. Some reviews incorrectly claim that there is a cost to enter the cave of 200 bath. That is for entering the national park which the cave is part of. So you can use the rest of National Park as well. You need flashlights but that can be rented for 40 bath. The cave itself is very impressive with interesting animals (mainly bats and cave crickets). It takes about 1.5 hours from entry to exit if you follow the yellow arrows in the cave. The arrows also ensure a safe route though the cave

There is no lighting in this cave so you need to have torches, we only had one so didn't go too far in, also a bit of a steep climb to the entrance. Might be better than 3 stars if you go further in!

You shall visit this cave. We did this with two kids of age 3.5 and one 6 years old. We were wearing sandals for hiking. I suggest you go lightweight - water and some small snack. At the entrance you can rent the headlamps. It is difficult to go with kids, but we did it. It was a big adventure for us all. In the cave, there is some life i am not gonna spoil...

The cave was really amazing. It's big, beautiful inside and with narrow passages where you need to crawl on your knees and right after it goes to large halls with big bats. Very interesting and a little bit dangerous. Yeah, and don't forget to take water with you, you will be very thirsty. And if you don't have a car or another moving vehicle it will be a little bit hard to reach it, but if you are near the Phraya Nakhon cave you can easily go by foot for 2,5 kilometers to the Kaeo cave. P.S.: Paid entry for foreign adults - 200 Baht, for kids - 100 Baht. But if you come before 8 am and after 4 pm you can freely come and don't need to pay.

Decent cave. You have to crawl and squat your way through some spots. Bring some water and a decent pair of shoes. Definitely not flip flip hiking.

Like most people here, I came across the Kaew Cave by chance, on the way to the nature reserve. 200thb is already a word, but it was somehow worth it. But beware! The path to the cave and especially in the cave is difficult and not easy. Sometimes you have to climb through passages that are 1m high...you have to be aware of that. Be sure to take your headlight with you or rent it for 49thb. Luckily there is a guide with you, otherwise you can quickly get lost and get injured.

Kaew Cave is very beautiful... But hardly anyone stops by. Most of them are foreigners and people who really love adventure. The way up and down into the cave is quite steep. Inside is dark and slippery. Must prepare a flashlight and shoes that will prevent slipping very well There are flashlights for rent at the park. Entrance fee is 40 baht for Thai people, 200-400 baht for foreigners if I remember correctly. We don't recommend going alone. Because it is quite dangerous to a certain extent, you should have a friend with you.

What an amazing experience, my favorite in the park. I was completely alone in the cave. The way through is easy to follow, just locate the waymarks first. Some passages require crouching/crawling. I'd bring a headlight next time to make moving in the cave easier. You can rent a handheld flashlight at the entrance for 40 TBH.

You have to buy or show the entrance to the natural park at the checkpoint. There they will try to convince you to pay 40 baht to rent a flashlight. They are not very good quality, but it is necessary to carry one. I do not recommend carrying your phone's flash, it is not enough. You start with a not very long, but complicated hike. You have to have a little experience to climb. There is a rope that you can hold on to while going up and down. You need to bring some mosquito spray. The cave is impressive from the beginning. Very deep and wide. It is a little dangerous to descend, but it is worth it. You may need to use your hands for support. The cave continues down several chambers until you are completely in darkness. There are some bats and beautiful rock formations. In short, an incredible experience.

If you’re in decent physical shape check this out - it’s a bit of climbing, you have to rent a lamp to go in (only 40 baht) and will be guided by a Thai local (our spoke only Thai). There’s some ducking and climbing but you will see amazing cave formations and bats.

Best cave for us so far. It's challenging in terms of for tourist. Our 5 year old managed with some help of the park guide. Wouldn't recommend 5 or younger at all, very dangerous in some places in terms of European safety levels. But for our 8 and 5 yo boys made it a trip of a lifetime.

Mega great experience. You climb through the middle of the mountain. But it is a longer route completely through the dark cave. Not for the skittish or unathletic.

👍 This is where you get on the boat to save you trekking 2km to phraya nakhon cave. 200thb/ boat. You will be given a token with number. Go to the beach and you will find boats there. Remember to take off your shoes. Once you get to the other side, you will need to trek for 500m to reach the cave.

👍👍 This place is amazing! The hike was a bit hard but only cuz I’m not use to the heat and humidity. If you take the boat around it saves a little bit of time and energy but you still have to hike the stairs up into the cave, which is the hardest part of the hike. Worth every step though!!
