This is a really good place to visit. Well I was a little tired when we arrived, but this is worth it. This cave has made been there since 1935. Also I came there at 4 pm so it's really deserted and quite, almost no people there. The photos are amazing, I love the view, but when there's no people around it feels scary because it's so dark inside. Also there are so many monkeys there. Good place. 👍👍

Visiting these caves is a surreal experience. The caves are easy to access for reasonably fit person with about 50-60 steps. (Senior citizens should be careful) The cave itself has 2 large rooms with sunlight coming through a hole in the roof. It is peaceful inside.

Temple-like cave with a reclining Buddha and many other Buddhist representations. Many natural light pits and artificial lighting give a nice atmosphere. There are steep steps right at the start to access the cave. You need to park - for free - at the Temple nearby and entrance fee is 10baht per person plus ride ticket 15b - whether your are thai or a foreigner (vehicules are not allowed up the mountain to the cave entrance). You can also feed fish at the temple in exchange of a donation of your choice (should be 10b/bottle)

This is great to visit if you're going to give merit, esp. if your Buddhist, nevertheless, served as an adventure. Great walking experience and be able to learn the history. It's much better if you have a private tourist guide who can speak Thai & English for better understanding .

Nice place to visit, if you have some time to spend in the area. Entrance fee is 10 baht per person - you can drive up to the hill and then take a special stair to the cave (the other one is crowded with dogs). Cave is huge, but has only two areas - so half an hour is probably enough time to spend there. Staff speaks English.

Not difficult to reach simply follow Google map to reach the place. However, we cannot directly drive up to the cave entrance. There are shuttle mini Subaru from the temple at the foot of the mountain. Small entrance fee required.

It’s a beautiful cave! Very peaceful but unfortunately there was some tourists being very noisy!! It’s simple to go. The ticket is 10฿ for the cave and 15฿ for the car going and coming from the parking.

An interesting temple located within a cave. The light shines right though a hole on the top. Definitely recommend to visit. However, be aware of your belongings and keep them within your bag as the monkeys are pretty aggressive and attack you for food and drinks.

Really enjoyed my visit I parked at the temple and took the small bus up the hill as I wasn't sure if you can drive up but it looks like you can? It wasn't expensive 50b for a return trip so no big deal really the entrance to the cave was only 20b again no problem and there's an air condition room you can sit in and relax after selling drinks and snacks ect it's one of the best caves I've visited around the area.

Feel serenity in the cave. There were many Buddhas and a door print of Buddha. Beautiful cave with an open sky above.

Very large and interesting cave and temple. Surely worth a stop if you are traveling past on your way south. Several rooms to look at. Nice staff to assist with information 👌

Interesting place. A temple in a cave. Very mustic and holy. Good spots for pictures. Beware of monkeys running free there. 25 baht entrance including going up and down with a tuk tuk. At the tuk tuk stop is a little coffee place where you can get refreshments.

Thr tickets were fairly cheap (and to be honest, it wasn't like they checked). I visited during the summer, so it was burning hot outside, but once you take a few stairs up, and then a few more steps down, you enter the cave and it gets a lot cooler. There were a few merchants in the cave, but they were respectful and calm. The Buddha statues are a sight to see, and one can only imagine how difficult it must've been to transport the statues into a cave. Bonus points for being a monkey spotting sight.

Great place to visit! Loved this cave! To get here, you'll need to go to the temple nearby to get a songthaew ride to the cave entrance. When there, the walk to the cave is quite easy, but then, the stairs into the cave are very steep. They're going down into the cave, so that's not a big problem. Worry about those stairs for when you're going out. The cave itself is really beautiful, with a hole in the ceiling where sunlight passes through. The main hall is quite big. There's another room which also has a hole where the sunlight comes through. You can walk deeper into the cave but it suddenly ends somewhere.

Enchanting cave. We were mesmerised by the natural beauty of this cave. The way the cave was illuminated in addition with the extraordinary statues of Lord Buddha added to the overwhelming enchanting atmosphere of the cave. Wow. We were asked to park our vehicle at Wat Bun Tawee, from where we got into a free shuttle van which drove us upto the hill (5 minutes drive) to the ticket counter area. We bought tickets worth 25 bhat to enter the natural wonder.

This is one of the "must do" attractions if you're visiting Phetchaburi. You park at the Temple nearby and then pay 25 Baht for the entry ticket and Songtow to take you up the hill to the cave entrance. You can spend as long as you want there, the Songtow is waiting to take you back again. There is one Grand Chamber here and then a smaller connecting Chamber, both with Buddhist shrines. The skylight hole in the roof of the cave creates a wonderful illuminating effect within this space. I arrived at 9.30am and was the only visitor there which was great, only two others arrived by the time I left.

25 baht for both Thai & Foreigner. It includes the songthew ride to the entrance of the cave. Going in the cave is a stiff stairs down. There was a reclining buddha inside & a very nice ray of sunlight. Refer to the photos below.

It is a short walk up to the stairs that lead down to the cave entrance. The cave has two large chambers, both with a large open hole in the ceiling. It can produce nice effects when the sun sends light into the hollow rooms. An interesting visit without the big sun effect, as it was quite cloudy that day. A challenge is to get sharp pictures in the dark, and a powerful flash to illuminate is recommended, which I did not have with me on this day. There is a large car park in the area outside the ticket office, and it cost 10 baht to visit the cave.

An amazing place to visit with golden Buddhas in the cave. It does make you wonder back in the day how they engineered or placed these religious items here.

The cave is a short walk from car park. Stairs are built for easy access but it’s a little steep.

Very beautiful place. The stairs can be very steep for some people. There are some monkeys around to be aware of (but they are not too disturbing compare to other places). Overall this place is worth visiting while being in Phetchaburi.

It’s a temple in a cave. You need to park in a temple nearby then pay 15 baht to ride a car to the cave entrance. The cave temple itself isn’t too big, you can see everything in 10 minutes. About a 20 minute visit in total.

We came on a cloudy day quite late (around 4pm) so it wasn’t as epic as in some people’s photos with the ray of sunshine, but still SO beautiful!!! So quiet, peaceful and serene. Definitely worth seeing and I’m sure we will be bringing friends to this place when they come visit. We paid 25THB per person

This Buddhist sanctuary was built during the Ayudhaya's period which had 170 Buddha Images & 6 pagodas. I remided you to carefully walk because of the dim light which could easily caused the slip & fall especially the elderly (walk with your walking stick). Don't miss this cave.My pictures were the self explanation.

Visit Tham Khao Luang in May 2022. It is a Buddhist temple in a cave. It is pretty unique with deep historical meanings of the development of Buddhism in Thailand. The ticket entrance (including transit tuktuk from the gate to the cave) is 25 baht and it is worth every penny of it.

A bit far from the Hua Hin city centre. Around 700 baht by grab from Hyatt Regency to there. Many Buddha inside the cave. The stairs are proper to walk. And 25 baht entrance fee included for the transport between the entrance and cave.

Amazing place or I should say cave. It's a beautiful cave with Buddha statues all over the cave. Visitors have to park their vehicles at the temple down the street and take a small shuttle from the temple up the mountain. The ride takes about 5 minutes then you need to buy the ticket to get inside the cave. The ticket cost 25 Bhat (about $0.85) for the ride and to get inside the cave. There are many steep steps to go down inside the cave. This is a must see wonder of the natural.

Very cool cave. Steps can be very big buts it's not too far down. I saw many cute little bats. As always protect your belongings from monkeys.

Great day trip. Beautiful cavern with amazing Buddha statues. Monkeys and bats dwell within, so you’ll more than likely spot some! Definitely a place you want to check out!

Super hot during summer. Need to pay for the car 25 baht for going up. The cave is not long but steep. Recommend to visit if you have time or skip is also ok.

A hidden gem! Must visit spot. What a cave! What an experience. Beware of the monkeys. They are expert in snatching foods/drinks.

It's a short visit. 2 km from the town center, it has a magical vibe going for it. The setting with the light coming through the holes in the ground is stunning visually. You have to park and take the tickets at the temple just before.

You need to be fit to run up and down the many steps. At the bottom of the steps you will find a large gold sleeping Buddha, along the way down there is also small statues. If you scout around the area you will see many monkeys. There are small shops with drinks and some places to eat. There is a large pond with plenty of fish.

Really nice thing to do in Petchaburi. You will need to park your car at the temple nearby. They will then drive you uphill to the cave. The cave is really awesome and afterwards you can enjoy the temple when they drive you back.

Hidden attraction in Petchaburi province. To access the cave, it is just a short distance from ticketing area. Lots of monkeys in the area. Free parking at a temple nearby and take a local shuttle to the ticketing area. You have to pay 25THB per person for shuttle service and entrance fee to visit the cave. Quite steep stairs to get down to the cave. Inside the cave, it is beautiful and a lot of histories. This should be another good stop when visiting Khao Wang. At the parking area, there were local beverage stands at the parking area who offered to help keep an eye on our car from those naughty monkeys. When we came back to the parking lot, we bought their drinks to thank them. All in all, we really enjoyed visiting this place. Highly recommended.
