Personal experience, not a very good one. I visited this resort to have lunch at their venue. Plus my friends were staying there. Immediately the incompetent security guard. Quickly made an assumption on why I was here. I told him kindly my friends were staying here and that I'm going to visit their venue for lunch. So I called up my friends and they kindly told the security guard which room they were staying in and that I'm their friend. For some strange reason he kept following me.. might I ask why ??? Is this how you treat people from outside ???! It's shameful to say the least. I asked the security guard in Thai... "What did I do sir, you know my friends are staying here... Why do you keep following me ?" He didn't answer.... Eventually the other came over. I was frustrated yet I kindly explained my story. The security guard was eventually asked to leave... I must say I felt unsafe with its personnel following me like that because I gave no reason whatsoever do indicate bad intentions. Advice to management please advise and train your staff to better treat guests even if they are just visiting the venue for lunch..... I'm shocked and felt very unsafe...

AC in the room is set at 25 degC and CANNOT be changed according to front desk. So not got a good sleep through 2 nights…. Pro: staffs at the cafe were nice Con: no indoor parking

Good place to go, you can rest relax and go out for cave adventure. Hotel people have a very good service mind, very polite and helpful. A littler bit issue was A/C could not follow to my order as well ... I want 25 degree while it’s changed to 20 automatically all the time so cool! Good toilet equipment, good bed. Great staff called me to confirm ,and got the room cold for arrival, clean and nice quiet place surrounded by the beautiful mountains and a calm sea view. Really wonderful, We will be back when we can👍🏼👍🏼

The hotel is very nicely built and decorated. The staff are nice and helpful. The food and drink (love their smoothies!!) here are a must. The wifi signal is super fast, it will make you want to relocate and just work from here! Love the serene and quite beach here - not for people who doesn't enjoy the secluded atmosphere. There's also bicycle lane along the beach, you can have a bike ride or nice long walk. (Hotel also has bicycle for rent).

The location is very quiet and scenery nearby beach. Modernized facilities with very kind staffs who are fluent with English. You can see the sunrise in the morning on the horizontal line of the Gulf of Thailand. There is grass field on the beach with good decorative chairs, benches, and swings etc.

The only things a can complain about were the sub par breakfast and minimal gym equipment. Everything else was fantastic. Staff were super friendly. Facilities are new and well maintained. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. It is directly across from a beach that is maintained by the hotel. I would/will return to Varinah if ever in the area again.

Nice low-rise place. There’s a roof top to walk and enjoy the scenic. Very clean and stylish. Nice chill-out area in the beach in front of a hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wise could be improved. Came back 2 years in a row.

Such a fantastic resort. The staff are very attentive and helpful, the rooms are perfect, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. It kind of has that expensive day spa vibe. If you want seclusion(but not to secluded), relaxation, top notch service, amazing sunrises, and a slower feeling resort, this is the place.

The room is clean, very comfortable to stay in . They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to late check in at like 10pm. So this was a big plus. The food is tasty and seafood is really fresh. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here.

A superb value resort, right on the very quiet Sam Roi Yot beach. Brilliantly furnished and designed rooms, epic sunset and moon rise, and sunrise.

Nice hotel in Sam Roi Yod area. Their room and service are excellent.
