Sadly the place is breaking down. The walking board is not really far, and is just a short walk into the lake. We decide to take a boat out for 500 baht. Its a 60min boat ride into the lake and you get a close up to the lotus lake with really beautiful view and birds. Highly recommend you do the boat ride.

The scenery is picturesque, a very good place to see the lotus The boat fee is 500, it is a bit expensive but the scenery should be the best, the boat ride takes about 1.5 hours You need to pay attention to sun protection

The newly created boardwalk and the 12 high observation tower are magnificent. Unfortunately, the path is only 90% complete. The last piece back to the road is still missing, so we had to walk back the whole way of over 1 km.

Really nice walk. It's not a loop so same way there and back again - total approx. 1,8 km. You have to pay entrance fee to Khao Sam Roi Yot national park 200 thb/person), but it's whole day tickets so you can visit more places. Near the entrance you can buy a one hour boat ride for 500 thb/boat (not per person). There are much more birds to see than from the broadwalk, so I would definitely recommend it. Broadwalk was also amazing, it seems there was old one and new one was built near it.

Nice place. Should have come during the lotus blooming period.

The wooden board walk is broken in several places, so visitors can not reach too far in the large lotus pond. There seems to be some reparation and further construction happening. So hopefully, the board walk will be enhanced in the near future. I highly recommend taking the boat ride through the pond. It's a memorable experience!

Admission ticket is 200THB per person. The ticket is valid for 1 day and can be used to enter multiple sites of the national park. This place is beautiful and is a nice place to spend an hour or so. So start early so you have time to visit other placed. You are not able to walk the whole board walk due to disrepair. But is it still a very nice visit.

This place is part of national park. Worth stopping by if you have time. You can take the boat out to explore the lotus field and watch birds. There is a restaurant in the area.

Beautiful park. We didn't like the fact we had to pay 200 baht to enter + 500 for a boat trip, pretty expensive for what you get. Otherwise we would have rated it 5 stars

Very tranquil location. I’ve never been to a tourist location this silent. No sound of vehicles or anything man made could be heard here. Do take the boat ride in the lake, it’s worth every penny you pay. It’s a shame they’ve made this a no drone zone

The site is absolutely breathtaking, we worth a visit. 200 baht is rather overpriced for a boardwalk that is 2/3 closed for “maintenance”(an understatement, see pictures).

I did not expect that it would be so beautiful here! Be sure to take the boat. There are many different birds and fish. We will visit this beautiful park in future.

Visited in August 2023 Though now the lotus blooming period has passed in this year, this place is still very beautiful to have some free time with the natural. I wish I could come here again if not the travelling difficulty to reach here. There's no bus, no taxi, no grab car in this areas. Be prepared to spend more on travelling by hiring a private driver. Or you can rent a motorbike to drive on your own. 200 bahts entry ticket for each foreigner. 500 bahts for a boat ride(about 1 hr).

The view was good and the staff was great and helpful. But you can walk only for 10 minutes to see all around. The boat trip was available at the shore. Not sure if there is anything interesting.

In my own opinion, not worth the 200thb and 50km travelling, you can only walk abt 50meters on the wodden bridge. Nothing else there unless you willing to fork out 500thb for the boat ride.

Amazing Thailand! I regularly come to HuaHin 1-2 times a year but never know this place. this is the must place to visit! should take a boat tour (500 thb per 4 pp.) BUT do check the lotus blossom time if you wanna see the best

Clean place, great view. It's November, great weather but there is not many lotus. It can be easily disappointed coming at the wrong time. I asked the local, they said around January, February are the great time for lotus. Or to be exact just after New Year is great. Toilet is clean. 👍👍👍

Easily one of the most beautiful natural parks in Thailand. A must see for anyone going to Hua Hin or Pranburi (or farther south). It costs 200 baht for foreigners but that ticket also covers other attractions in the park. I highly recommend taking the boat tour for an additional 500 baht. I last about an hour and gives you better views than the boardwalk. You also get to go to a viewpoint that lets you see more of the wetlands from above. I know it’s a bit of a drive to get there but don’t miss out on this place!

We used to come here about 4 years ago when the wood part is still good condition and stretches for about 400 meters. Unfortunately, the gazebo is falling apart and there is a part to be restored. There's just one viewpoint left. I suggest making a local tour of the area and returning for a sunset.

Do yourself a favor and visit Bueng Bua Boardwalk. Not only are there an abundance of various birds to see, but the views are breathtaking. Also, for 500Baht, you can add a magical boat ride to a nice walk. Just a friendly fyi, no domestic animals are allowed; due to them possibly disturbing the wildlife, including service dogs (very understandable).

If you are in Hua Hin, this should be a "Must Visit" place in your itinerary list. We never regret coming here though it's a long drive(1hr) from our resort. Paid 200bht per pax for entrance fee(kid is 100bht) and 500bht for a boat tour(can sit up to 4Adults but we have 4adults and 2 toddlers). The boatman were superb, helping us take picture and stop as and when there's any unique place for pics. We visited a Cave temple and up a view point around the Cave. Overall a nice experience that no one should miss if you're at Hua Hin. We felt that the boatman desired a token of appreciation and we decided to tips him after end of the trip. Don't take my words, come and experience yourself.

👍👍 If you enjoy nature in general, and watching birds in particular, then this boat ride should not be missed. We went twice, once in the late afternoon (4 PM), and then again in the early morning, leaving just after 6 AM. Both times were great, with the morning being particularly good as the sun rises...

👍👍 The atmosphere is good. Go when there is a waterfall above. It is very beautiful, the water is cold, but the road is quite difficult.
