Safari
World
is
a
wildlife
park
that
is
split
into
two
main
areas:
the
Marine
Park
and
the
Safari
Park.
The
entrance
fee
for
both
parks
is
1580
baht
per
person,
which
includes
a
bus
ride
around
the
Safari
Park.
The
Safari
Park
is
an
open-air
zoo
where
visitors
can
drive
through
natural
habitats
of
various
animals.
It's
a
vast
space,
and
animals
such
as
zebras,
giraffes,
ostriches,
tigers,
lions,
bears,
elephants,
antelopes,
camels,
kangaroos,
and
deer
can
be
seen
roaming
freely
in
a
large
area.
The
Safari
Park
offers
the
option
of
driving
yourself
through
the
park
or
taking
the
bus.
We
opted
for
a
bus
ride,
and
it
was
a
bad
experience.
The
ride
is
quite
boring,
and
some
animals
are
hard
to
see,
especially
since
they
are
quite
far
away
from
the
road.
Plus,
if
you're
on
the
wrong
side
of
the
bus,
you
might
miss
out
on
some
animals
since
the
view
of
the
animals
isn't
very
good.
Moreover,
the
glass
windows
of
the
bus
reflect
light,
making
it
hard
to
take
good
photos
of
the
animals.
The
bus
also
doesn't
stop
for
visitors
to
admire
the
animals.
The
Marine
Park,
on
the
other
hand,
is
filled
with
attractions,
shows,
and
interactive
activities.
Visitors
can
take
part
in
feeding
animals
and
photo-taking,
which
requires
an
additional
fee
on
top
of
the
entrance
fee.
However,
the
attractions
are
mostly
unsheltered
as
well,
and
the
weather
can
get
quite
hot.
The
park
also
has
this
area
where
visitors
can
play
carnival
games,
but
again,
you
need
to
pay
for
them.
The
Shows
are
included
in
the
entrance
fee,
so
there's
no
need
to
pay
extra
for
them,
but
take
note
that
it
can
get
very
crowded,
so
be
there
early
to
secure
a
good
spot.
Additionally,
it's
worth
noting
that
the
food
inside
the
park
isn't
great,
we
tried
the
burgers
and
they
were
stale
and
hard.
One
of
the
interactive
attractions
that
the
park
offers
is
the
opportunity
to
take
photos
with
a
baby
tiger
cub
while
it's
being
bottle-fed.
However,
I
find
this
particular
attraction
unsettling,
as
the
handling
of
the
cub
seems
a
little
rough.
The
cub
also
seemed
a
little
sleepy
and
not
entirely
alert.
Overall,
the
park
seems
to
be
more
geared
towards
families
and
children,
with
some
visitors
spending
their
entire
day
there.
However,
some
of
the
exhibitions
and
shows
may
come
across
as
either
cruel
or
dull
to
some.
My
friends
and
I
spent
only
two
hours
in
Safari
World,
as
we
found
some
of
the
exhibitions
to
be
lackluster,
and
the
heat
and
sun
made
it
uncomfortable.
