The starting point of the climb is a parking space and then immediately rocks. The rocky & dirt path is not clearly marked, but look for worn out stones and Yellow Arrows pointing the direction to go. It took us about 45mins to reach the View Point. The 360° view is spectacular. Not recommended for climbers with zero experience and without proper footwear as some rocks are sharp. (Though locals climb it in sandals and slippers). It's a worthwhile workout to the top, but make sure your body can handle it.

Rock is quite sharp so be careful. Bring a bottle of water and walking shoes, the path is steep and rocky but easy to follow with arrows pointing you in the right direction. I took me around 30 minutes to reach to the view point but the views from the top are 360 degrees and worth to reach there. The summit area isn't too big and watch out for strong gusts of wind which could throw you off balance.

It's a tough climb to the top, particularly when it's hot. Bring a bottle of water and walking shoes, the path is steep and rocky but easy to follow with yellow arrows pointing you in the right direction. I thought the distance markers at the bottom were showing how far to go, they show how far you've come. Took ne about 45 mins for the 500m Ascent. But the views from the top are temendous, 360 degrees. The summit area isn't too big and watch out for strong gusts of wind which could throw you off balance. You need to buy a ticket for the Park at the car park which is 200Bht for Foreigner, 40Bht for Thai. But the ticket also gives you access to the Information Centre and Mangrove Board walk a little further down the road as well as a Cave, so hold onto the ticket.

Beautiful view, stony way up. Take water and shirt with you to change.

Bit routh but very enjoyable. Basic fitness is needed. Because the rock is quite sharp and the road slippery, simple cotton gloves might help. Another good thing here is that the trail is maintained in a natural shape with minimal (but nice and clear) guidance.

A little park nestled in Precambrian lava rocks. Off the trail there are lava shafts and cones. On the trail leads to a very nice view of the western Gulf of Thailand and surrounding area. We have stopped by here several times.

Quiet a hard climb, not for the faint hearted. But the view from the top is absolutely stunning and well worth the effort.

This is the actual starting point to the hike. Unfortunately, it’s closed when raining because it’s too dangerous to climb, so I didn’t get to go up. But at least the park ranger was nice and gave me a chair to wait out the rain before driving back to town.
