Terrible store, cramped and, with a few exceptions, unfriendly staff. Today, however, I experienced the absolute lowest point: Market manager Pagojus makes a “joke” at the checkout that he didn’t see the employee because it was so dark. When I saw the color of the employee's skin, I was stunned and truly horrified, such behavior is absolutely undignified. In the next breath, an employee who has probably been working there for 30 years and is always friendly and courteous was insulted and said she was about to collapse from weakness. The store was full (Wednesday is a holiday) and there were long queues at the checkouts. Even if the gentleman was under stress, such behavior is not acceptable.

A pleasant Edeka market, a bit small but everyday needs are taken care of.

Way too small a shop. Aisles are so incredibly narrow and lined with boxes etc. Especially when the staff starts to refill the shelves in the morning. This can probably be done before the store opens. Some of the staff were friendly. Some employees look pretty thrifty (especially at the sausage counter). As if you were forced to do the job as a vegan.
