Very lovely coffee shop in central Eppendorf. The combo of an aromatic coffee or lovely matcha latte together with a hearty mushroom cheese sandwich might be the perfect way to start your weekend. Nice vegan selection as well ;)

I was very skeptical visiting this cafe since I’m from Japan. But the quality of Matcha latte was very good, I just hoped more varieties in sweets. Staff are pretty nice and friendly as well.

Very friendly staff, nice food and good coffee. There is plenty of competition for sophisticated coffee in the area these days but if you are looking for an unpretentious place to enjoy a decent flat white or a new york style bagel and cream cheese, then Lowinsky's is the perfect choice. I had the yummy (if a little messy) pastrami sandwich and went back later for a bagel.

Their gluten-free pistachio & dark chocolate cookies are out of this world! 🤤🤤 they also have gluten-free bread (upon availability) for their grilled cheese sandwiches and amazing coffee!! The foto is from a gf grilled pastrami sandwich! 😍 the chef and his team are also very nice people and you always feel welcome there! :)

VEGAN FRIENDLY!! Absolutely loved this place. Ate a grilled cheese with vegan cheese and drank a matcha latte with oat milk. They also had vegan cookies with caramel. They have cow cheese too don’t worry if you are not a vegan. But would hurt to try vegan sometime😉🌱 You cannot reserve a table. But it’s quite a big space you can get a spot with max 10-15mins wait.

Very popular cafe, it's the favourite one of numerous people in Hamburg. I just went once to take a matcha to go, and I needed to queue quite long to enter -be ready to wait a bit! Otherwise, super friendly service, matcha was good though it got cold quickly with this weather. The chocolate cookie was insanely good. Will definitely come back on a less busy day, and enjoy my cup of matcha sitting inside.

Awesome coffee, tea and delicious food prepared and served by passionate and warm-hearted people. The owner is an absolute treasure and a wealth of knowledge around tea and coffee. Hamburg is lucky to have spots like the Lowinskys. Tread off the beaten path and order a tea and a bagel instead of the famous grilled cheese and coffee options.

Best grilled cheese I have ever had. Best matcha latte I had in Hamburg. Best brownie I have ever had. Great, genuine service. This is overall one of the best cafés I have ever been to. They know their craft. Quality of drinks, food and service is top! An additional aspect that I appreciate, is that they experiment with new, homemade drinks from time to time. Always exciting to try out new stuff made with love.

By far my favorite spot in Hamburg to get matcha at. You have the option to choose between three different matcha types. The atmosphere is amazing and homey and their sandwiches are also top notch! The service is lovely and the lemon infused water also adds a nice touch. Definitely one of the best cafes in HH!!

Nice and cosy coffee shop with great coffee and snacks. Selection of different coffees from medium to light roast. SoHo Vibes and friendly service included. Laptops at weekends not welcome. Weekdays there are 3 tables reserved for working with a laptop. Great place to hang out with friends or read a book.

This may be my favourite spot in Hamburg. Make sure you get there at opening times Fri-Sun to get some of their sell-out babka! Coffee is fantastic. Bagels are next level. Cheese toasties are life changing. It’s always packed, and yet the staff always take the time to be super friendly and personable. A little haven.
