Was very disappointed, all of the enclosures were so grown in and large that we could not spot 90% of the animals. The moose enclosure looked like the size of a cow pasture but was so grown in and a total mess there was no way you were seeing a moose, which was the one thing my son wanted to see (that and monkeys- but there weren’t any of those either) half of the enclosures were empty as well. It was over all disappointing. I seen less than what I can see when I step out on my back porch at night. And the petting zoo? Are those animals taken care of? None of the horses were groomed, no food or water in the troughs… when my mother visited here 2 years ago she complained as it was the exact same way, when she complained they told her that they were updating everything, well 2 years later and it’s still the worst wildlife park I have ever been to in my life? Crazy. Don’t waste your money, all you’ll see is trees, maybe a skunk or a raccoon… maybe a deer. Just don’t bother!

Really great walking experience. Its a nice trail to see all the animals that can be found in canada. And you can buy treats at the front desk to feed the reindeer/caribou. I had a great time. We didnt see the white tail deer and the moose but the caribou was the sweetest. It followed me along the whole stretch of fence because i gave it treats. Its not overly expensive so i say its a great place for kids, animal lovers, and people who just want a walk. Highly recommend this place. And please buy 2-4 bags of treats at the front desk. Its worth it. (Dont trust the treat dispensers on the trail. Most of them are broken/empty) For all the negative reviews that say the animals look sad and they shouldnt be im a cage. All the animals at this park were either raised in captivity or got rehabilitation. These animals cannot survive in the wild. They need the care of the zoo. And the zoo provides the animals with spaces out of site of humans so they can get some privacy and breaks from us. Its good for the animals.

There's a trail you walk on and see animals nearby. You can buy deer feed for $2 at stops set up on the trail to feed the deer. Coyote was hard to spot, but eventually that come out. There's a barn with domestic animals that you can pet too. There's places to camp, park and RV and there's small cabins that they let too for those that want to stay. The place has a beautiful scenery around a water body and can be quite nice to look at and relax.

First time back since I was a child, was even better than I remembered. We saw lots of animals, could not find a few but it's nice they have large enclosures. We might have been the only ones there, can't beat the price for a family activity.

Very depressing. Most of the animals have barely any space or enrichment in their cages. Makes me sad that I gave this place my money to allow them to continue.

Went here for the Christmas walk, was a cute experience! Definitely bundle up even if it's only 1 km. Wish the hot chocolate served was hot though, it was barely warm.

Since the day was too hot alot of the animals were sleepy or hiding in the shade so we didn’t get to see much. The animals in the petting zoo side/ farm were much more active and socialized. On a hot day the path was well shaded with trees and there are a couple benches around for sitting along the path. This park was worth the visit, cute animals to see and not too buggy.

This is a great place to take your kids to experience wildlife in Nova Scotia. We will be back. They do sell food and have picnic tables available and washrooms are everywhere. Staff are very helpful so thank you for this great place.

Very depressing park. Don’t visit. The beaver „enclosure“ is a joke - my living room ist bigger. No wood, sad pond of dirty water. Deer and moose enclosures are quite large, those for the big cats are WAY too small. We did not see the/any moose, which was the main purpose. Bears seemed bored and sad.

Two rivers wildlife park is a great location to explore some of the natural wildlife on the island and encounter some animal species you may not have seen before. The deer towards the end were very friendly and we were able to pet and feed them. We came on a rainy day and most of the animals were out and active. We were also the only ones in the park making it a very intimate experience with the wildlife. The lady at the front was very nice and entry to the park was seamless. Would highly recommend if you like animals and wildlife in general.

Really good, friendly animals, you can see lots of arctic animals: bear, fox..... beautiful place to let the kids burn energy.

All my life Ive known the two rivers, it's a steeple of Mira and arguably Cape Breton. From elementary to an adult. Thanks for years of fun and experiences.

Very disappointed 😞 I was excited to take the kids to this park. As we got there all was okay, we paid our way in. As we were going through the wildlife trail it became very depressing, the bears looked depressed and their enclosure was way to small. The beavers enclosure was beyond nasty , the water was so dirty and it even smelled bad. The poor artic fox seemed to be losing its mind as it was going back and forth. The racoons enclosure was small, and one of them looked very sick while the others fought over a dead squirrel. The snapping turtles enclosure was nasty 🤢, even the poor snapping turtle was dead. I hate that I spend money to see depressed and sick looking animals. It's sad.
