This was our first time at Arrowhead Provincial Park. It was just as beautiful as the pictures I saw online. It was slightly challenging to find the beach as the signs weren't clear. We went early enough to secure a parking spot. The beach is a couple of minutes away from the parking lot. There are multiple beaches. The view reminded me of Lake Louise with the surrounding hills of trees and the gap in the middle where Arrow Lake runs through. Also, we stopped by Stubb Falls and trekked on the Stubb trail (1.1km trail). Highly recommend if you're looking for a park with views, a waterfall, and trails.

Very scenic trails. Arrowhead Lake trail was beautiful. Trails were a bit steep in a few places which I liked. I felt there should have been more signs to indicate the trails. Amazing place for kayaking/canoeing. Would visit again.

The park is beautiful and peaceful. Great for hiking, kayaking and canoeing. A very short walk to the Big Ben lookout. The walk to Stubb's fall was easy and short. The view was picturesque and amazing.

Beautiful park for young families. The trails are great for young kids too. We hiked the trails with our 2.5yo and 5 y.o without a problem. The beaches are beautiful. The roe beach was great for watching the sunset

Arrowhead is one of the jewels in the Ontario Parks crown. Nothing but great things to say about this park. BIG camping sites. The filling and dump stations can accommodate multiple RVs simultaneously. Lots of amazing outdoor recreation. The park store is excellent, --friendly staff too! Bring additional extensions cords if you want electrical. Many sites are 75 to 100+ ft (or more!) to plug-in. The park does rent cords if you need them. (Deposit req'd.) The only 2 things I would change about this park if I could: Restore personal contact with staff upon check-in. And fill the potholes. Too many roads with deep potholes that'll rattle the fillings in your teeth! (Okay, maybe not *that* bad.) But it did have me wondering whether I might need an alignment on my truck after our visit. (And I don't drive fast.)

It’s a beautiful park and amazing during the fall. Best time to visit the first week of October, however we have been informed the leaves will start to fall mid October so plan your visits accordingly. There’s so much to explore as there are many trials. We took the Stubb Falls trail and it was worth it.

A beauty of a place. Would definitely recommend it. The tranquility of this place is mesmerizing. If you need to relieve some stress, I would say take a walk in this beautiful park.

This was my first trip with my boyfriend and it was amazing!! Staff was really great! The bed did break when we sat on it on the last day. We contacts the warden’s and they were really great!! Loved this park! My partner & I visited early September 2023 during a heat wave actually and it was gorgeous. Easily a new favourite out of the muskoka region. Pros: large private sites, clean amenities, lots of scenic hikes, multiple beaches, lots of dogs (dog beach + exercise area), great parks store, major area of Huntsville within 15 minutes for amenities/supplies. Cons: literally the canoe/kayak/paddle board rental. This is directly off the beach area and you are required to lift the rentals over your head and onto the rental rack. Lucky my partner & I could help each other but if you’re a solo renter you might be struggling! Also lots of folks mention hearing highway noise from this park, there are several sites closer to the highway but the noise hardly transfers. It’s got both regular & radio free camping areas both of which get minimal noise in my opinion.

If you enjoy skating with the fam and love the outdoors, this is a wonderful place in the winter. Hours on end of fun. Make sure you pack a backpack with some treats for the kids, yourselves and the pets. Fire and Ice nights are a must. Stunning! If you are an a outdoor enthusiast then this is definitely a place for you! Best part now is that you get book everything online, no more waiting in long line ups. Hurray! Great warming stations where you can catch your breath, take in the views and get warmed up. Skiing is great but it was sad to find out that the tubing has ended. Highly recommended for a weekend of fun weather in the winter, spring, fall or summer.

One of my favourite Ontario Provincial Parks, winter and summer! Camping is awesome, bike trails, canoeing, swimming, and hiking is great. Winter Nordic skiing is awesome! They rent the ships there. The outdoor skating ring is magical and makes for an incredible day or night activity.
