We went for lunch and were seated in a separate dining area for families. We ordered: 1) Chicken Faham Half+Bukhari Rice- 5/5. The rice and the chicken was very flavourful and tasted delicious. The chicken was a tad bit dry but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. It was served with fried carrots and raisin, some salad, a roasted tomato sauce, and a garlic sauce. 2) Mutton Aaqda- 4/5. This was shredded mutton that was fried with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. The quantity was good and the mutton was juicy. 3) Khuboz and Afghani Bread- 3.5/5. The Khuboz was thin and flakey while the Afghani bread was thick and spongey. Both the bread, I felt, were slightly chewy and dry. 4) Areeka- 3/5. A dessert consisting of dates, cheese, sesame seeds, cream, and etc. This was quite heavy and not really up to my palette. The service was fast and we did not have to wait long for the food. Our server was courteous and prompt as well. This costed us around Rs. 1000. The amount of food was more than enough for the three of us and had some leftovers as well!

Al Wadi Yameni restaurant truly delivers an exceptional culinary experience. The Fahasa, with its aromatic blend of flavors, is a standout dish that reflects the chef's expertise. The bread, freshly baked and irresistibly soft, complements the meal perfectly. The kebabs are a delight, grilled to perfection and bursting with savory goodness. This restaurant is a haven for those seeking authentic Yemeni cuisine, with each dish showcasing the rich heritage and dedication to culinary excellence. I wish they had some decent dining space for families.

AI WADI Yemeni Restaurant offers an excellent dining experience. The interior may be minimal, but it has a nice charm that adds to the pleasant atmosphere. The highlight of the menu is the all mutton items but I was visited it isn't available and then moved with this Chicken Mandi, which is cooked to perfection and bursting with delightful flavors. The prices are reasonable, ranging from 150-2000 currency, making it a great value for money. Whether you're looking to try something new, AI WADI is a must-visit. With its delicious food, inviting ambiance, and reasonable prices, it guarantees a memorable dining experience. Not just but you should try.

#NotInPune #hyderabaddiaries ✨Al Wadi Yemeni Restaurant✨ Location πŸ“-8-1-398/PM/36, Paramount Hills, Toli Chowki, Hyderabad, Telangana 500008 I must say one of the best meals that I had in a really long time. We are foodies and we can go miles for some amazing & tasty food. Thats what I did. Definitely in outskirts. But must visit. Do visit them in group. The portion is really large. What I ate- Chicken Salona- Shredded chicken with a tomato & capsicum based watery gravy. Overall it was very fresh flavours. Not to heavy on the palate yet you don't want to stop eating it. Yemeni Khubuz- It is a flaky yemeni bread. If I have to relate it I can say it was inbetween kerala paratha & puff pastry. It was not at all grecy. I could eat the bread all alone. It had a nice crunchy & chewy texture. Definitely visiting them on my next Hyderabad trip.

AlWadi Yemani Restaurant is famous for its authentic Arabic dish, Ruz Bukhari and Shawaya or fantastic. We took parcel we ordered 3 Rice and two Shawaya, unfortunately when we checked it at home we find one rice is missing, I understand the rush but they should organized themselves not to repeat the mistake again this could affect their reputation.

Bad hygiene... Food is Arabic not to the Indian Palate. Should highlight the bad hygiene. Cockroach were seen everywhere. Tables were not clean. It's good for try... If you are fed up of Indian cuisine... You will surely realise how wonderful is Indian cuisine compared to other cuisines. In short... I regret dinning here...

Al Wadi Restaurant, Paramount, Toli Chowki. A great place to fulfill your Yemeni/Arabic food cravings. I would say this is one of rarest restaurant that hasn't converted Mandi into a local flavours. It because of their Yemeni/Somali/Sudan customer base and not Hyderabadi. If you would like to taste the authentic dishes taste or if you are a gulf returnee who is missing it, this is the go to place. This will not disappoint you. There is no proper seating, there is no seating for family. The service is good even during peak hours.

We enjoyed some unique yemani delicacies. I have shared pictures of what we ate here. Do not remember the Names of dishes as it was my first time. This place is located little bit interior. Parking is a issue here. During Peak time you will not find sitting also so take away is possible i think. Very crowded place. This street is like a little somalia, you find lots of somali people in and outside restaurant. There is a small cellar where they have family section with limited seating capacity. On first floor they have both floor sitting( arabian style) and chairs but it will be more suitable with friends. What really impressed me is there large size yummy breads. There popular items are sheekh kabab, alfham, arabian mandi, dates and cheese Desert are quite πŸ‘Œ. In drinks, tamrind juice and mango laban. They have chicken, mutton and beef dishes...so be careful while you order or choose to dine in. Bottom line is, this will definitely be a unique experience for you and it does not dissoppints you in terms of taste, quality and price. Enjoy

Tasty good with affordable prices. Good service. However, there is not enough space for Dine-in, with only 4 tables inside and rest other seating on floor surface. Attaching the menu photos with the latest price list. The atmosphere gets noisy due to the dine-in crowd. All in all, a good experience.

Beef tikka and Yamani khuboz was nice. The dessert options they have are also great but you need at least four people to finish it. Because after having a heavy main course two people cannot finish that dessert.

My visit to this Yemeni restaurant was an absolute delight. The tender, slow-cooked meat and fragrant rice captivated my taste buds. The aromatic spices infused every bite, transporting me to the heart of Yemeni cuisine. The restaurant's attentive service added to the overall experience. All the accompanying condiments enhanced the flavors of the Mandhi. If you're seeking a culinary adventure filled with rich flavors and cultural authenticity, this Yemeni Mandhi restaurant is a must-try. Prepare to be transported to a world of taste and tradition in every mouthwatering bite. Areeka, fallen in love with this dessert. A must try from here.

Visited this place after seeing a review of a food blogger. The ambience is not great though just good for friends. Not a family place for sure. Coming to dishes we ordered a dish called Chicken Salona, which was a gravy served as a sizzler and roti. Tasted a bit different but was good a bit on spicier side. Would recommend this place if you want to have something new.

Doesn't suit the Indian pallet at all, it's just that you can experience the Yemen food. And it is also an experience coming here, it feels like you are in a middle East country with all the somalian and Sudanese people here. I swear to god i have seen more black people(describing in a polite way) here in an hour than in my entire existence combined.

Hello guys I visited this place with my friends and I was stunned after I see So many Sudanis people and the restaurant was full. This give me an expectation of great food. However we find the place and ordered a dish and some tandoor naan. The dish in its appearance looks very tasty and flavourful but when I took the first bite it was sour and it is just made of tomatoes and green chilli with some sauces and meat in it. The meat quantity was good no doubt on that but as these dishes are new and people are flocking like they have found a treasure at al wadi lol. Nothing special I don't prefer a next visit to this place. After having this we ordered something and that was finished so we have a partial dinner there and had to went somewhere else. Too much crowded as our hyderabadi people do at new places and also Sudanis especially. Not worthy at all

Really nice place to try authentic Yemeni food. The taste is really good and prices are reasonable. They also serve breakfast which is not common for Arabic restaurants. It has both traditional on the floor seating and table seating in another side. The carpet is really old and dirty and is kind of sticky. The owner needs to fix it or remove the floor seating if it is difficult to maintain the floor clean because the service window is near the counter and it is bound to have food spilled.

A frenzied atmosphere, doesn't feel like you are in your own country. Preferred only for bachelors who can fight for a seat. Yummy food must try the fahsa, foul and the best kunafa in Hyd for dessert.

Not for those who don't want to try something new. The menu itself is not in English. The service personnel helped me in choosing. I liked the food. I had chicken rice. Huge portions and heavy food for a single person. Their hibiscus tea(iced) is yummy. Definitely will visit again if I go to nearby locality.
